My future self

In another universe I was a dominant spouse
Like a dictator I relentlessly ruled my house
Wedded a dainty damsel from another city
My first flame of desire, she was wonderfully witty

My need for control exceeded the limits of the sky
Never paused to introspect on the reasons why
I demanded treatment of a king and nothing less
I believed my life was perfect, pouring with success

She was a silent servant doing all the dirty dishes
Never helped her with cooking, nor satisfied her wishes.
She mopped every filthy floor all alone
I forbade her to bring her friends and family home

Her father said "Do not treat her like a slave!"
But who was he to dictate how I should behave?
My father said "You're the man. Control your wife!"
I never knew her patient presence would soon exit my life

My hand spoke a language mirrored by the mark on her face
With a packed suitcase, she hurried home in haste
Solitude was all I had to reluctantly embrace
My future self had realized my conduct was a disgrace

Her unforgettable frown never fades in my mind
How could my younger self have been so unkind?
The earie echo of embarrassment weighs me down
For all that haunts my mind is her frail frown

Forgive me! I never had friends nor a social life
Nor learned to take care of the heart of my wife
God's lesson I've learned. The message I spread...
Make your wife your queen from the day you wed!

In another universe I was a tyrannical spouse
Until God took her away from my prison house
And gave her to another man who was versatile
He regarded her with high respect and made her smile

Two years later, appeared my new beautiful bride
After a lesson well learned, I let go of my pitiful pride
I still have more to learn on treating her with respect
Thank you, God, for pushing me to self-reflect.

I pray my better side radiates in my future
For I promise my new love I will nurture
My future self will portray intentions of my heart...
For us to unite with strength and never grow apart

Premium Member Thru Maritime Miles-Introduction

My name is Columbus and this part is true
I sailed with pirates and did what they do
I took from the snooty and gave to myself
But only the booty they save on a shelf

I kissed a young lady who killed for a lark
And gave up my job for a date with a shark
I fled for my life on the back of a whale
And led my own crew with a black pirate sail

I nearly was killed by the same lady twice
Who finished the game with a bucket of ice
I married a maiden who said I’m a fool
And carried the day with a ship for a school

I sought all the children who thought I was bad
And taught them to win by the talents they had
I rented the crew of an old pirate ship
And carried my class on their ultimate trip

I followed my wish to be one with the sea
And swallowed my dish in a moment of glee
I fumbled my test to be first in my class
And rumbled my best to be cursed by a lass

I brought my own crew to the brink of a dream
To lose what I had for the sake of a scheme
I fought for the cause that was lost from the start
And won by the clout of a man with a heart

The lady I married is perfect for me
She captured my love in a house by the sea
She mannered my day in the way that I dress
And taught me to play in a game of success

We won and we lost in the spirit of fun
We gave and we got for the good that we won
In perilous times when our fate was at stake
We started with punch and we finished with cake

I sailed with cutthroats for many a trip
The captain was crazy but easy to flip
I learned about pirates by doing my job
And learning to fight by the rules of a mob

I had a great time with the cast of our crew
And learned a few tricks in a scuffle or two
I thought I was set for the rest of my life
Except for the bet of a beautiful wife

Then something big happened which I can confirm
We gathered our stuff for a new pirate term
We left our own homes for the crew to report
Then somebody’s lady appeared at the port

The lady, it seems, was not there for a date
In fact, she arrived, as the captain’s first mate
His daughter was dressed for a bout with success
And that is the way I got into this mess. . .

Premium Member The Siege of Mariupol Steelworks

Down in the south east of Ukraine they call the Donbas region
Is where the Russians were kept at bay by the Azoz battalion
For three long months in Mariupol, they put up one hell of a fight
Against air raids, constant bombardment and military might.

Many were severely injured in battle, but they never gave in
In an act of sheer defiance to the Russian's and Vladimar Putin
It's stalled Russian advance, in their so called special operation
And to war criminal Vladimar Putin, it caused much frustration

His murdering scum army were much needed elsewhere
But strong Ukrainian resistance were keeping them there
The Ukrainian high command knew they wouldn't survive
President Zelensky was heard to say "we need heroes alive".

Orders were given for them to stand down, so they surrendered
The siege will live on in folklore, and will always be remembered
The Russian military has now taken the soldiers, to a prison colony
Where they'll be charged with terrorism and never be set free.

Russians from the steelworks siege, are now being sent to the front
Trying to cut off Ukrainians in the east, who are bearing the brunt
The west must now go all out to deliver the weapons they need
To help push back the aggressors and make sure they succeed.

Their heroic stand bought time for Ukraine, to replenish supplies
Like heavy weapons from the west that caught Russia by surprise
Russia's only real advantage, is the sheer volume of personnel
So small groups of brave Ukrainian guerrillas, are giving them hell.

Hit and run raids by special forces are being carried out with success
Zelensky has nothing but praise for his soldiers, in his nightly address
Land seized by Russia will never have peace, the Ukrainians have said
To concede land to the brutal invaders, would be an insult to the dead.

Ukraine wants to send soldiers bodies back to their families
Russia has refused them, because the truth, the people would see
And Vladimir Putin doesn't want his people to see him as a liar
So he's quite happy to ignore it as his death toll grows higher.

All Roads Lead To Success Have To Pass Through Multiple Hurdles and Obstacles

The sun up in the air for free and this leads us to success? exactly!!
So it is all in our life, if we want to achieve success we will have to fight for it with
appropriate knowledge and to conquer a position.
With money, we can buy a lots of things but knowledge and intelligence is not for sale, it
is for everyone to learn.
And we need to make every effort to gain knowledge and possess it because “Success
will not happen overnight”
But that take time and patience with a lot of learning material to be learned and it will
not always be easy, because not everyone has the same predisposition for something.
Also with a business transaction or to start a company, we must first explore about it so
that everything can be organized to have a better chance of success later.
This requires a huge effort , when we have enough knowledge to lead through the legal
rules and take action so that there will be no problems afterwards as everything runs
smoothly without suffering when an officer sworn by legal come to us.
So it also with success in sports to deliver performance we most change from a normal
life to a strong diet for our bodies and prepare to perform entirely.
That’s not always fun and there is joy in a victory but a disappointment by loss after,
because there are many obstacles and hurdles involved.
Successes are not for everyone and not constantly, there are some underperforming
moments by loss which give us psychological pressure and this has a major impact on
our life and can be seen as a significant obstacle.
Also the urge to show the achieving of success to many fans and intrusive media who
thrives on criticizing.
It is not an easy task to deliver first successes in life today without being confronted by
many obstacles and hurdles .
But that does not mean by every success or victory we celebrated with a triumphant joy
and pride which give us a glorious existence in life

I wish you a healthy life.

Letting You Go, But Not Our Love

I stand alone, on a sandy beach

My tears flowing into the sea,

Because I know you are out of reach

And no longer here with me.

The fact is that you will never return

And I can’t trade anything to get you back too;

I just have to learn

To go on in life, without you.

It is not as easy as I say

As millions of memories together we share

Which I can’t forget any day

There are as many as the drops in the sea I now stare.

I haven’t regained interest in anything,

It has been already more than a year.

Times were so disturbing you know

Without my love so dear.

I reveal my sorrow to the people who care

You can’t even do that too,

As I can’t see you I think I wasn’t aware

That it might be so hard for you.

But now you just worry of me,

You might be watching me as is the moon,

Wherever you are, happy I want you to be

And for that I promise, happy I will be soon.

You know every problem, with which I’ve dealt,

Nothing from you I can hide.

I’ve realized that love isn’t to be seen, it is to be felt

That your love is within me though not at my side.

People say that you are gone

Though you only can’t be seen.

What they say is really wrong

You are around as you’ve always been.

I never let my tears fall to the ground,

So I usually come down to the shore.

As I don’t want them to reach you,

That will only hurt you more.

On me, all have lost hope.

That on my life I’ve given up, I don’t want you to regret

So with my failures I’ve learnt to cope

And am ready to deal with success.

I’m sorry to keep you here and for now you can go,

When sometimes you come to visit you will see.

I’ll make you smile so much you know

By being the old me.

I don’t have any problem with God at all

That he took you away from life’s race,

For all that I know

Is that now you are in a better place.

I have decided to head back now, to stop my tears,

From now on I’ll remember you as my wonderful memory.

I’ll laugh, I’ll cry, I’ll overcome my fears

But know that I’ll love you for eternity.

A Farmer

A FARMER
A farmer is in a village .
24 , years , is his age .
He cultivates under rays .
One day , he meets with a sage .
Then , he says ,
‘ you will be the world famous , in future days ! ‘
Then the farmer becomes surprise !
‘ How is it possible ?
Is it true ? ‘
He thinks too and too……………
Next night , the stars rise .
An old man comes in his farmhouse .
He is too fible !
He gifts to the farmer , a white mouse .
And says , ‘ it is too lucky , really , truely !
Keep it carefully ! ‘
Then he becomes dead .
Then the mouse touches his head .
Why ? the farmer does not know it .
Later , one dawn ,
It is a spring morn ;
The farmer cultivates on his field ……….
He gets from the field ,
A big box  , made by gold ;
Too old !
He picks it up , then ;
He breaks it’s lock , then ;
He sees that , in it , here is 3 manuscripts of 3 books ;
The farmer does not know reading ;
So nothing understands ;
Only he looks and looks ………………
Yes , then all are in his hands ;
Later , he reaches in that cortage ,
Where meditates , the old sage ;
Then the farmer shows the papers to the sage ;
And then , the sage is reading and reading…………………
Oh ! the old medical discoveries !
Yes , the medicines of the cancer ;
In 3 manuscripts , here are 3 names of medicines of the cancer .
And also all about , in details……………
He becomes surprise !
Then , he tells ,
To the newspapers ;
All read the all papers……….
Yes , the new stars then arise ;
No death ;
Oh ! then the forcast of the sage , becomes true ;
Oh ! the old faith !
Yes , then the farmer becomes the world famous man !
The whole world , then , becmes his fan ;
All say , ‘ I love you !
Too ……...too ………too ………………………………….’
Then that white lucky mouse says ,
‘ I stay in the cortage of the sage ; ‘
Then the farmer says ,
‘ why ? no ! you stay with me ! dear ! ’
Then the sage says ,
Hey ! from today , we all stay together ; too …… too near ! ‘
From that day , they all stay in a very big , new , palace ;
Yes , yes , yes ,
With bless …………………………………
With success …………………………………………………

The Perfectionist and Subsequent Habits of Compartmentalization

not having a chance to get their own birth
perfect
(having had no say in the matter), the perfectionist is thrown into the world,
where chaos reigns---
and the primary caregiver who showed up for the
job
(providing one was lucky enough to have someone show),
they do their best to keep the child out of harm’s way
they feed them, clothe them, take them to school, etc.
until that being born without a choice
(to say “screw this,” i’m not coming out!),
now has grown up---
the grown-up being is one whose emotions run wild,
and yet this particular perfectionist
tries to keep it all settled,
like it was nestled in a beautiful little box---
one kept up on the shelf &
only to be brought out on special occasions---
the perfectionist is a planner,
a control freak &
one who does not work well with failure---
early on they learn not to trust others,
because being linked to anyone or anything, even remotely resembling
attachment,
will end up bringing another’s personality into the attempt at
perfection,
and being that one perfect life is hard enough to attain,
another cook trying to make the tastiest soup,
well, it just won’t do.

so the perfectionist finds ways of self-discipline,
s/he cuts feelings off from her/himself when people get too close,
and with success in a career,
the perfectionist finds new ways of gaining freedom by
spending themselves out of situations which they do not want to
take part in---
they learn to have conversations wherein the deleting
whole parts of a seemingly complete person
in order to maintain a specific guise in any given context,
is not only routine,
but with this newly found ability comes a sense of pride,
which others attempting perfection,
may never be able to grasp.

the perfectionist hones their life
like one would a stick when carving bits & pieces away,
in order to make it look
just
exactly
like
it
should----
and yet,
the perfectionist,
like an airbrushed photo of a supermodel on the glossy cover of a
magazine,
s/he knows nothing of this impossible state s/he seeks,
because it
does
not.

An Arrangement

The new 'Betagrain' produce store,
advertised for a manager.
The directors were more than pleased,
with the regime of Teddy Tiesler.
Ted’s to have two understudies;
Robby James and old Billy Syme.
Also Rex Collie, ‘though a mite slow,
would be his roustabout part time.

The first thing that caught Teddy's eye,
was how the store had been run down,
so he organized a clean-up,
during this, what he also found,
was the persistent evidence,
in colonies of mice and rats.
So this led Ted to encourage,
a gang of ‘Betagrain’ cats.

Now ‘Betagrain’s second hand trucks,
were driven for delivery.
One travelled to farms out of town,
the other dropped off locally.
Whenever the trucks were idle;
the wheels, axle, beneath the hood,
became favourite sleeping haunts,
for cats whenever that they could.

Ted became attached to these cats,
but became a little concerned;
some may get hurt, beneath those trucks;
two did and the others don't learn.
So Ted now had an arrangement,
with a local vet that he knows.
Whenever a cat gets injured,
the surgery for Ted doesn’t close.

This little scheme worked with success,
aach time that a cat’s taken 'round.
A little gift dropped off a truck
for the vet and was quickly found.
But then one morning the phone rang,
the vet was threatening to kill,
blasting Ted ‘bout a stupid joke,
that has Ted’s ears ringing still.

Seeking out an explanation,
Ted called his employ Bill and Bob.
Both were as puzzled as Ted was;
the only other man on the job,
was Rex but he’s way too dumb;
still, Ted asked him to come around;
Ted asked if he knew what happened;
Rex shuffled and looked at the ground.

"Bob", said Rex "It was bloody Bob,
who squashed the bloody cat flat.
I yelled out but he didn't hear,
so I picked up the run over cat.
You told me if a cat got hurt,
the vet would help us out for sure,
well he was out, so I left a note
with the cat - and slid 'em under the door".

Assassination of Love

A fertile wind lures a petting call
from the bull who will swim the Lough.
Immortality lurks within its perfume
of dynasty and a future king.

The scent of tomorrow makes love extinct
for our genes are perfumed with success.
Prada and Versace can make the lemon sweet
but the offspring will question this statue,
we call David.

 Poets will bleed a loves embrace
this beauty of presence a royal write.
While nature spins the spiders web
of a lover who creates life with death.

These tears will soon be forgotten,
in the rose that greets the winter.
For love grows cold in the markets of man.

But love should not be abandoned
for creation is a spiritual thing.
As the warrior holds his head against the tree,
unspoken words transcend this earth
that only his isolation can see.

And  in its meaning
love can find a nobility,
that prostitution will never be.

Love was a word that once made empires fall,
now reduced in the confetti of modernisation.
A face book soul caught in the pouting lips
of adolescence,
 staring into the depths of an old man unseen.

And the obese teenager that parents adore
go blind to this locked door .
While mirrors delight in snow white dreams
and a wardrobe that secretly desires perversion.
For the window of **** gags for that.

Sex is the ticket to the premiere
that eventually all her friends will see
and the weak will be the spillage
Of a corn sack  filled
by a man that only a rapist will see.

Walk into this gas chamber
And succumb  to a kiss,
prostituted by a River Island fee
 and a Rimmel greasy lipstick.
That makes the suitor hard
inflamed by the chemical caress of perfume
which will procreate another lost child
Into oblivion.

And love will show its face once more
In the bottle of regret
and a being too fat to work.
Spilling the grease from his chips
while watching the latest premiere
Of another  adolescent dream

10 Things That Suck

ONE:
At three in the morning the Internet calls out.
Come to the computer; visit friends round about.
All of a sudden, soon pulling hair out,
The lights go off, a total blackout…shutout!

TWO:
Dressed for the country, a total knockout,
In a new white blouse, nothing worn-out,
Marshmallows and smores cooked at the cook out.
Chocolate on the blouse that will not wash out!

THREE:
Friends coming over for a big night out,
Children run to windows; keep a lookout.
Their car slips and slides while they are in route.
Festivities become a complete washout.

FOUR:
Going for a visit, the Interstate route.
A car passes by; guess what is thrown out.
Part of a burger with a Whopper handout,
Right in the face of the driver's shouting snout.

FIVE:
Rushing one morning to the punch-clock readout.
Arriving on time, that day had some doubt.
Picking up speed cautiously on the look out!
BLAM! The tire explodes, too late, a blowout.

SIX
The day's shopping spree had a strange payout.
Smoke from the windows escaping there out.
Eggs were left boiling when the cook went out.
Shells hit the ceiling and the floor; freak out!

SEVEN:
Walking barefooted on a beautiful route.
(Garden shoes were old with the soles worn out.)
Soft-smelly brown embrace toes round about.
Run to the hose to wash the stinky stuff out.

EIGHT:
Planting a garden with success in doubt.
Hoping for sun and for a big payout.
Watering tomatoes in times of drought.
One night of insects, the crop is wiped out!

NINE:
The birthday present would really standout.
Glow-in-the-dark wrapping, would be far-out.
Fluorescence to shine when the lights go out,
But I left it home and arrived without.

TEN:
A walk in the park to get a workout,
Flowers and children enjoyed throughout.
Birds chirp in trees, their favorite hideout.
A direct hit in the eye; bird fallout, wash out!
