When like a sullen miser, the dark skies relent
unleashing rain to pummel a parched, dry land
grey soaked clouds press forward, a grand event
whipping wind wildly like gusts of lashing strands.
The clash and clamor of a restless storm excites
ignites imagination to great heights of wonder
as lightning streaks and cracks the fragile sky
and thunder presses pounding fists to plunder.
Without reserve, wildlife gather and take cover
motherly trees engulf them with leafy arms
wildcats seek caves, foxes burrow down under
farmers herd their livestock into wooden barns.
Each day God directs His drama in the skies
He orchestrates every movement under the sun
His glory unfolds as we witness with our eyes
for He is Lord over all, He is the Mighty One.

What a beauty I felt at dawn...
when touching your being
With the gentle warmth of the sun...
successive and deep dreams
fantasies spread around
of my being...
She has the holy fire of heaven
in the hair...fireworks
dancing like wildcats
loving like wild moons.
Her hair as black as a star,
her lips, fruits of Heaven,
her eyes, dark flames,
your round curves,
pure rapture...
Her full wet love
of primal fantasies and dreams...
And she hot like Amazonian sun,
flows the boundless river...

Dogs are the smartest ones
in all of the animal kingdom,
they've been man's best friends
since Man began to roam.
It's a great feeling to have one,
also very sad to lose one as I did...
the indelible memories on grasslands
and wild wind while riding my horse.
My black hound with a white spot
on his head was the fastest one,
other dogs couldn't match up
to the stamina of this canine.
When I looked out to the marshlands,
I heard him sniff through the high grass
and with a bark he guided me through the haze,
in frog-infested water, I found a deer in a daze.
The young deer looked up and emitted a sight of relief
knowing that a brave dog had saved him,
I gave him water and he drank it all...
then he got up and ran in the stillness of Fall.
Many rescue missions I successfully accomplished,
saving rabbits, birds, wildcats and squirrels
and without the help of Lucky and his intelligence
I wouldn't have been rewarded and honored.
Cat Angel in Incheon
Walking down the park at night
In my suburban Incheon Korean town
I encounter yet again
the mysterious Korean woman
dressed in white feeding
eight cats who surround her
eating their dinner in silent communion
She is feeding them
as she does every single night
she is the cat angel of Incheon
she takes care of the cats
every night
there are hundreds of cats
all over Incheon who are alive
because the cat lady Angel
took care of them
I don't understand the cat angel
because I don't understand cats
As far as I can tell
cats are alien creatures
from another universe
who are here spying on us
perhaps preparing for the ultimate invasion
they are very strange creatures
and why some people spend so much time
taking care of Wildcats
almost worshiping these strange creatures
well that is beyond me
because I'm not a cat person
There were wolves, coyotes and wildcats:
all fighting for supremacy in vast grasslands,
but envy made them greener than grass and harder than rock...
trying to break up the alliance between the rabbit and the fox.
Morning came without delay as light shone on the dusky, sea-weeded reefs;
they silently gathered behind the tallest weeds resembling hungry beasts,
hoping they'd pass by and entrap them and have a meal...
and they waited many hours to make that imagined kill.
How could they outsmart a rabbit with his agility
and a fox with his shrewdness? Their plot had to have ingenuity
to make them fall for that something they desperately craved...
and what was it they were looking for? Was it flesh they desired?
These two harmless animals looked out for each other ,
any unfamiliar sound or noise would make them shiver
and alarm them to keep a sharp eye on anything that moved...
even a gecko climbing rocks would would make them feel awkward.
And the shy rabbit and the sly fox gave a hint to hunters,
pointing where they were hiding: in the shade of poison oaks;
not knowing that they would have a mad rash so unexpected...
they ran chased by a dozen of dogs as the rabbit and foxed reveled.
The wolves, coyotes and wildcats vowed revenge, if they ever escaped;
no rabbit or fox would survive in their territory...if they were found
snoozing under the shady wildflowers or on the top of logs:
they'd surely be the perfect treat for their growling stomachs!
The rabbit and the fox finally enjoyed their freedom and loyalty
by planning a more effective strategy despite fret or calamity.
They aren't chimpanzees!!!
They descend from mountains
when their stomachs growl,
and they tumble with their excessive weight...
getting dirt, stones and twigs caught in their fur.
Two of them just crashed, making the loudest thud,
sending animals and humans scrambling!
Someone screams, " They aren't chimpanzees!!! "
" Run, son! " a frightened mother shouts.
" Mom, grab my hand...I'm scared! " the kid yells.
They aren't chimpanzees!!!
They live in the wilderness feeding on deer and wildcats;
they are extremely savage, roaming the dense hills
and open plains, and with one stroke of their powerful paws,
they can instantly kill defenseless creatures or people.
They travel far to get their food, and their senses
are as keen as tigers and lions hunting their prey.
If you hear groans or strange noises: look out!
They hide behind bushes and trees and they could be
in your own backyard! These beasts are...

Oh, Moonshiner, man of the mountains high,
Where whispers of wind and wildcats' cry.
Your heart a kiln, your soul aflame,
With the secret of white lightning's name.
In hollows deep, your still does hum,
A symphony of steam, a hidden drum.
From fields of corn, a golden juice,
To fiery spirit, in silver cruse.
They call it 'stump water,' 'skullcracker,' too,
This potent elixir, born of dew,
A 'ruckus juice,' for joy and strife,
A taste of freedom, a taste of life.
You're a craftsman skilled, a master bold,
In the art of alchemy, stories untold.
With fire and patience, you coax it forth,
A spirit potent, of the mountain's worth.
So, raise a glass, to the moonshiner's art,
A rebel's brew, to stir the heart,
A taste of freedom, a whisper in the night,
A lightning flash, a fiery light.
Are ancient domesticated cats from an Arabic land
Is it where they came from, as history understands
But this is not so, they lived and graced
For in Cyprus was found, a skeleton in place
Egypt was favourite, until that burial place was found
Interned with its master, on Mediterranean ground
They evolved from wildcats in Africa at large
Five self-domesticating, in evolutionary charge
So the cats you see today, came from them
All coloured so different, every single one a gem

Too much crap coming with a high tax
Intentional not by chance
It's always been like that
Others talking behind backs
Especially after sipping out bottles from wine racks
It'll reach an end or climax
After a time lapse
Meanwhile it was in person or done behind glass
Having nothing or everything to do with finance
Nearby wildcats or waves with white caps
Took care of five tasks, ran nine laps
Nearby a lake full of striped bass
While carrying an ice axe
They said they were involved in divine acts
Across coarse and fine grass
Nearby several bike paths
I've had a nice laugh
Always ready to strike fast
Because you can't ever get any time back
Not a fool, intelligent
Not a tool, change is eminent
Nothing indefinite
It's already proven and evident
The truth instead of rhetoric
Heart cold, Mt. Everest
24/7 high and drinking alcoholic beverages
Humans always trying to have leverage
On my phone zero messages
At times gained or loss appendages
Pathetic is what their agenda is
Not easily do I forget, most things I remember it
Cause and effect quit treating me like a degenerate
Adding fuel to fire with accelerant
You're taking sides, I'mma call you Confederate
In the end, I'll turn into a revenant
No matter what you do, it's irrelevant
River beds sit full of sediments
Thank you, but I don't need your sentiments
This all shall be a testament
While among the elements
A curse or blessed to live
Damn yet again depression hit
It effected development or became a benefit
ed up but not desperate
No filter, won't ever quit
For more or less of it
I avoid over-populated areas, I'd rather be where it's desolate
Good on you if you have an impression from this
Your impact is minor or the size of an elephant
Quit being so quick to be the celebrant
You've been obsessed with percentages
Remaining far too petulant and delicate
Yeah I said it b****
It all goes for guys and gals regardless of if they get the gist of this
Oh we got another chump, I beg your pardon
All these schmucks, gosh darnit
Imma leave 'em stuck, Tar pit
Try your luck, start s***
I don't give a , it's a wrap like your body inside carpet
Sometimes things don’t work out as planned
not that Nate planned it, such is basketball love
and strong are the threads of the basketball net.
He hooped all summer, sweating on outdoor court
before moving to school gym through fall and winter
knowing he was good but must work to be better.
Moving up to High School, things getting better
Varsity as a freshman, thing’s going as planned
four years of hard practice through each fall and winter
at High School graduation, all he got was love.
Conference player of the year, full press court
college at Becknell’s - next year nothing but net.
Summer’s prep but his three pointer nowhere near net
a shoulder injury redshirts him; takes months to get better.
But a career year as a senior, he was king of the court
two years in March Madness, all going as planned
with college graduation, a brief cheerleader love
hope springs eternal with passing of winter.
Transfer to Kentucky and Wildcats, but with winter
a broken wrist and covid darken his net.
March Madness was cancelled, pandemic's tough love
yet nothing that going pro couldn’t make better.
But draft passed without call, nothing going as planned
it’s tough to stay centred on basketball’s court.
An anxious summer, tryouts on NBA courts
but covid loomed large, sport locked down in winter.
Would this end those hoop dreams he'd planned?
Then Christmas came early; a ten-day contract with the Nets
led to a place in the G League where he could get better
such is the trial of basketball love.
Then Nate moved to Europe following basketball love
but Ukraine and Russia offers covid cancelled with nyet.
A contract with Israeli Basketball’s Premier League was better
and he starred with Hapoel Holon, League champion that winter
on this stage, he was again king of the court
even though things didn’t always go as planned.
So ends this tale of basketball love, but with end of winter
will Nate be more than a jester caught in basketball’s net?
Sometimes things work out, but not always as planned
