October 11 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 22-23
Key Verse – Matthew 22:18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
FAITH IN GOD WHO PERCEIVES OUR WICKEDNESS
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His kingdom
We repent while learning truths with His wisdom
Indeed, grateful to Him for granting us salvation’s freedom…
Now, our faith grows upon Bible-based Christendom.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His Scriptures
We repent while obeying His commandments for heavenly ventures
Indeed, yielded to Him for righteous gestures…
Now, our faith endures persecution-tortures.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His holiness
We repent while avoiding entanglement with worldliness
Indeed, humbled before Him for His sanctifying cleanliness…
Now, our faith perseveres along paths of righteousness.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His mercy
We repent while begging for His guidance-fervency
Indeed, submissive to Him to be instructed by His prophesy…
Now, our faith stands toward service-persistency.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His miracles’ might
We repent while praying and beseeching with sincere plight
Indeed, surrendered to Him for His protection day and night…
Now, our faith trusts fully His assurance of wondrous sight.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His compassion
We repent while abiding in His will of sovereign supervision
Indeed, devoted to Him for victory from sin-caused depression…
Now, our faith increases because of His divine provision.
God perceives our wickedness and hypocrisy against His Word-fulfillment
We repent while meditating His precepts of eternal settlement
Indeed, worshipful to Him along dedicated commitment…
Now, our faith triumphs in our ministry-involvement.

We oft ask ourself, the purpose of life
For desire pursuit, makes us not bliss rife
Pause awhile to ask who in truth we are
Driven by instincts, we’ve drifted afar
Deadened to conscience, how will we reform
Blind lead the blind; in stupor we conform
We’re worldly wise but heart has contracted
From path of love and light, soul’s detracted
Who’s the stranger we see in the mirror
Cold heart allows not love to draw nearer
Why inner conflict, like Jekyll and Hyde
In our palm too, head and heart lines divide
Religion too offers us no relief
We’re asked not to question imposed belief
Why do we fear the unknown and occult
Time’s now to exit each and every cult
Reflect, are we not reborn, with each breath
There’s no liberation at point of death
Save fears and desires, what thoughts do we think
Trauma bonding thus, no wonder we sink
The path then seems clear, as to how to start
First things first, let us meld head with our heart
No sooner head and heart act hand in glove
Boundless grace in-pours; we’re suffused with love
Dropping thought, we become a child again
So easy it is, to break ego’s chain
Analysing not fulcrum of a sneeze
Delight in effervescence of release
Choosing stillness as our default fulcrum
We hark within heart, the soundless bliss drum
Oh weary hermit, embrace the vast void
Once heart’s love drenched, we’re never by fears toyed
Seeing life in motion, what’s there to clasp
In blissful wonder, just let out a gasp
How may we garner truth, if we resist
Know we are living light and a love mist
Questions cease as we become the answer
Transmuted as the divine bliss dancer

Who crowned You king of the land
Where innocence has feared to tread
Where angels and demons play tug of war
And i'm the rope stretched taut and thin
my head lies deep in the sand
i need You to speak in my stead
i now wish to merge my voice with Yours
And lift this thorny crown of sin
-------------------------------------------------
I speak but cannot shout
Translate to you my silent penchant
your blackest nightmares cannot hide
I hold you in the light of morning glow
If ever you're in doubt
Share with Me your dark intentions
Come sit by ancient fireside
And I will tell you all you need to know
Once upon a time,
an ant who had long made his home at the root of a tree
asked to be assigned to work among the high leaves and branches.
Having been granted his wish,
the little ant was astonished by the great difference he found between the tree at its root and the tree at its branches,
as all that he knew were based on his experiences at the base of the tree.
Though overwhelming at first,
the steady routines of life in his new home began to set in,
and the little ant began to appreciate the view his new station provided him.
Until one day,
when the little ant overheard a group of ‘high-leaf’ ants
discussing the root of the tree:
“What I’d like to know,”
said one high-leaf ant to the others,
“is how the 'bottom-of-the-tree' ants put up with all of that swaying back and forth.”
This discussion deeply troubled the little ant,
for he knew very well that the root of the tree is as unmoving
as the great earth itself.
Before long the season passed,
and the little ant's time to work among the high leaves and branches
came to an end.
While preparing to make his way back to the base of the tree, though,
a rush of understanding flooded through the little ant,
and he knew what he must do.
He made his way
to the top of the tree
as fast as his little legs could carry him.
Once there,
the little ant did something that ants almost never do:
The little ant looked UP!
Were you to make your way to that very tree tomorrow (whether to the root or to the branches),
you would probably not find the little ant at home,
for he rarely has time to be in any one tree for very long.
You see,
having imagined what his tree,
and more, and more, and more trees might look like to the sun,
the little ant felt a great need to teach other ants to look not just from the root or from the branches,
for to do so is to ensure that the tree they see
is as they themselves are.
The little ant who looked Up! tells stories of life among all the different parts of a tree;
and one day, when the other ants are ready he will teach them to look Up! too, so that all of the ants might finally see the tree
as it is.
Mirror, Mirror, Who Is That?
Who is that
Sleeping close enough
To dream of kissing my nose…?
Well, almost…
Who is that who keeps inside
Of him the man I’ve loved
For more than forty years?
Who is that whose hair — once mink brown —
Appears whiter these days…now blending with
Pillowcase white at night?
ngth Who is that who’s kidnapped
My darling, young husband, bearing
— I thought — the strength of youth for all of life?
With the decades passing…with their toll on
Our looks, bones, and veins, along comes this
Rage! How each night it thieves a bit of youth
for a ransom of age!
Who is that, then, who could ask who I am?
My heart’s love — just as his — is deeper, no older
Than when we met and married …still keeping
Each new dawn full with hope, and for our life ahead,
we still author dreams’ envisioning.

Tell Me, Who Do You Say That I Am
You are messiah, the savior of man
one of three, who protects every lamb
you gave us life, with your blood and each scar
God the Son, that’s exactly who you are
you are my friend whom I love with my heart
you’re the reason that I don’t fall apart
you pick me up each time that I fall
the King of Kings, you are Lord of all
Prince of Peace, you’re the bread of life
you saved the souls of my children and wife
you are the one I have always adored
you are Jesus, my Savior and Lord

WHO IS THIS PURPLE MAN WHO WEARS THE PURPLE ROBE
Visions of crack web jaggle hues
Now who is the purple?
Who’s this purple man?
The man who wears the purple robe;
Darkness and light shall not stand together;
Only God and Jesus, can;
Son of man the all I AM;
Son of man creator’s son
Wears the colors of royalty
Fitting a King He’s meant to be
And who speaks to the people
Who stands in the gap?
And who loves those people
Who don’t love back?
Now who is the purple?
Who’s this purple man?
The man who wears the purple robe;
Hate is rampart…
He stands arms and hand toward the skies
Road in on a donkey-a jack ass small horse?
Most people praised HIM such a roar such noise;
Now who is this man whom fed the many?
Healed the sick and raised the dead;
Go get me the purple robe;
So that we may cover this purple-man
Sandals full of sand and dirt;
Purple-man wears this robe, liken as a shirt;
Now who is the purple?
Who’s this purple man?
The man who wears the purple robe;

An adorable child He was waiting to be crowned king,
never slept until He met the Magi traveling from the East;
much joy He felt as the happy shepherd boy played his drum,
and in that box stored in the attic...He has been forgotten for too long!
Light couldn't shine on the dusty box where Jesus lay: too silent and sad;
it must been ten years or more since He was gently pulled up from His head,
to be laid in a small cradle of a shining manger between old Joseph and young Mary...
wasn't He glad to greet everyone on a night when palm trees waved in serenity?
Was Jesus' wish to remain a king who never grew? Who made Him a deity?
Wasn't His mission far greater than compassion to redeem the lost humanity?
In a hurry, He must be taken out of the box and reign in His eternal kingdom,
which angels have guarded since the beginning of creation as God foresaw.
Don't think of Jesus as a king who never grew: he lived, died and was risen from death;
hold him and stop His shivering...he has been hidden in the dark and neglected!
Let light illuminate and warm up His cold face and let all rejoice He came to visit us!
Was He a king who never grew? Wasn't he destined to be the glorious Christ?
