While you try to become the best version of yourself,
Insecurity infiltrates, an unbeaten foe that embraces confidence,
And you list potential falls before even stepping onto the open road.
Every deed is stitched with the thread of this somber foreboding.
Yet, if you know how each scar quietly whispers to you its own tale,
A story of how much it bled, how much pain there was when it was still a fresh wound.
And which bold paths you have taken toward healing, what battles you had to fight.
It's not easy to step out of the frame of your comfort, from your arches of safety.
But when the stars align, they conspire as if yearning to show you a universe
Where you are meant to shine – accept everything with grace, let chance follow its course.
For if you don't, the print of regrets will be one that will never fade.
To receive the stars and the threads of fate, even when they are entwined,
Even when fears seem swifter than your choices.
Gather all your scars, each a mark placed on the map of your own galaxy.
Leave from yourself a beacon, a lighthouse deep in the unknown to which you inevitably head.
In stillness lies the heart of grace,
A tender touch, a gentle pace.
Soft whispers in the morning light,
A soul that dances through the night.
With patience as her steadfast guide,
In calm, she lets the storm subside.
A poised demeanor, calm and kind,
A clarity that clears the mind.
With empathy, she takes her stand,
Compassion flows through open hands.
Her strength is quiet, yet profound,
A silent force that holds its ground.
In every step, a measured beat,
A dance of life that's bittersweet.
With dignity, she faces all,
And rises even when she falls.
To be graceful is to be,
A blend of strength and harmony.
With heart and soul in perfect tune,
A radiant light beneath the moon.
In a space that should hum with focus,
Where thoughts flow like ink on paper,
I walk the halls, and what do I hear?
The clatter of egos—loud, brash,
A symphony of insecurity,
Each voice a drum pounding louder,
Drowning out the quiet rhythm of real productivity.
Oh, the harshness of noise!
Your chatter like chainsaws,
Hacking away the sweet silence,
The sanctuary where ideas bloom.
Conversations compete like wild animals,
Roaring for attention,
But who’s listening?
Who's doing it?
I can’t hear my thoughts,
Lost beneath the weight of your bravado,
Your anecdotes, your grand proclamations,
About deadlines, met and spreadsheets conquered,
But all I see is the façade,
The show of work,
Not the act of working.
It’s an orchestra of distraction,
A cacophony of competition,
Where silence is a crime,
And whispers are for the weak.
But listen!
True strength speaks softly,
In the space between breaths,
In the echo of contemplation.
But here you are,
Standing tall, voice raised,
As if volume equates to value
As if the loudest in the room
It is the most productive.
It’s a mask you wear,
But I see behind it—
Just shadows, just noise,
Just the harshness of insecurities masked as power.
We chase the clock,
Tapping away, thinking,
We’re winning some races,
But it's not a marathon,
It’s a serenade,
A melody of purpose,
And you’re just playing the wrong tune.
So, let’s pause.
Lower the volume,
Tune down the tumult,
And Let the silence reign
In this kingdom of commerce.
Let whispers be the wings of ideas,
Let the quiet be our battle cry,
For in the stillness, we create,
In the calm, we conquer—
Let’s reclaim the space
From the harshness of noise.
Let’s work with purpose,
Let’s make a change—
Because the loudest voice
It doesn't always win,
Sometimes it’s the softest,
The most profound,
That ignites the fire
Of true creation.
"The sky prepares the sun for night
Where drifting clouds are slowly steeping
In tepid pools of waning light"
As the earth gets ready for sleeping
The moon comes out from its hiding place
Where drifting clouds are slowly steeping
The sun says goodbye with setting grace
And stars join the party of the sky
The moon comes out from its hiding place
The wind slowly dances feeling shy
Murmuring whispers to the night shade
And stars join the party of the sky
Wondering why this passion must fade
She delights herself with lamps glowing
Murmuring whispers to the night shade
All darkened time seems to be slowing
The sky prepares the sun for night
She delights herself with lamps glowing
In tepid pools of waning light

For Joseph May's "Choose your form 2" contest
may this day find you well
thank you
"such reactions"
who can excite my soul and revive my heart
bringing light and life
you
what can send me beyond comprehension
more than any physical touch
silent whispers and glances
when did desire appear
without seeing or hearing
it was a moment of chance
where did this love affair begin
within eyes that were open wide
under rainbows of sun and moon
why does passion grow
emotively intensely endlessly
because love is real
how can I put us into words
a light that agelessly shines
such reactions lift us high
who better than us master romance
when feelings are greater than
how or why matter not

Adults, they tell us,
this slow unraveling of innocence into something more akin to survival,
the colors fade, the music dulls,
and the world, once so wild and wide,
narrows into roads lined with expectations and sacrifices.
And in the silence of the evening, when shadows creep along the walls like forgotten whispers,
I think of my childhood, that realm of untouched dreams,
where each day was an adventure into the unknown, an unwritten story
in which I could be anything, anyone, without the fear of tomorrow, without the weight of the days to come.
But now, my steps are measured, my path charted by others,
with each decision, with each choice, I feel a part of me getting lost,
dissolving into this sea of conformity, of compromise,
and I wonder, when did I become the stranger in the mirror, when did I forget to fly?
The colors, once vibrant and pulsing, are now pale shadows of memories,
the music, once the echo of childhood laughter and songs, is now just a muffled murmur,
and the world, once so vast and full of promises, has shrunk
into a network of well-trodden roads, paved with expectations
and sacrifices that seem never-ending.
And yet, somewhere deep inside me, in that dark and forgotten corner,
there still exists a spark, a fragment of magic, a glimmer of hope.
Perhaps, one day, I will find that lost innocence,
I will find that freedom, that wildness of untamed dreams,
and I will relearn to fly, to sing, to see once more the vibrant colors of the world.
But until then, I continue to walk these narrow roads,
with a heart heavy with desires and sacrifices,
searching for that lost magic, that untarnished innocence
in a world that seems to shrink with every step,
but which still holds, in its depths, the promise of a miracle.
-To all those who died believing they were failures
Madman, fool, fraud, disgrace:
Curse your insolent mind and set alight your life’s work—
Forget about happiness; forget about fame
When money and power is needed to get ahead of the game.
Forget about passion and making things right;
Someone will steal your ideas in the dead of the night.
No one likes change, so don’t dare to be different—
New ideas aren’t needed when old ones have always existed.
Just sit on your hands and bite down on your tongue;
Your words mean nothing—they won’t let you talk for very long:
The sound of your voice will never be valued here,
And, shamefully, you can’t stop letting your eyes show fear.
So just get up and walk away; no one would blame you—
Throw down your vile heart’s creation.
Out of bitter resentment, you constantly rise and fall;
You become more insistent: shoulders back, head held tall—
You don’t let whispers poison the way you think:
After all, the more you rise; the more they sink.
And a hundred years later, after being laughed at for so long,
Your work is exhibited and admired for what it truly is.
Whilst those who doubted you lie forgotten in their lonely graves.
Can you remember that day
You felt the future in the wind
Thinking “Once upon a time”
It was only a dream back then
Girl, before I knew your name
And you hadn’t seen my face
I longed to be in your mornings
Touching you..amazing grace
Whispers from your heart
Gently echo in my ear
Caressing your whole world
Love drives away all fear
Secrets that are yet untold
Passions from deep inside
Fingerprints from up above
Poetic wonder.. make me high
They say patience is a virtue
Etiquette to get from there to this
Keep waiting, yes I’m chasing
That perfect ever after kiss
The night you’ll linger at my lips
Tease me with your kind smile
Golden locks and curves of bliss
Let’s take it slow, l’ll stay awhile
Whispers from your heart
Gently echo in my ear
Caressing your whole world
Love drives away all fear
Secrets that are yet untold
Passions from deep inside
Fingerprints from up above
Poetic wonder.. make me high
Cause It’s not too far to see
Curl around me, I’ll do it right
Feel that soft and tender touch
Yeah, from evening until the light
Oh, the silhouette of your beauty
Thoughts are dancing in my mind
Raindrop’s beat it’s so captivating
Romantic treasures to seek & find
Those whispers from your heart
Gently echo in my ear
Caressing your whole world
Love drives away all fear
Secrets.. that are yet untold
Passions.. from deep inside
Fingerprints.. from up above
Poetic wonder.. make me high
I’ve never been this high
Just being you.. you make me high!
I’ve never been this high

PATH
Follow me along this path, she said
Ignore the whispers you may hear
And be sure to keep a gentle tread
No need for worry, naught to fear
You’ll see a different world instead
Through the trees, leaves pushed aside
She walks ahead, a path I mustn’t lose
Two paces back, so we don’t collide
Is this a new future I should choose
But what if she and others have lied
Then into a lighter clearing we emerge
The midday sun is warm upon my face
But no turning back, despite any urge
As that world is no more in any case
As she looks at me, my emotions surge
This was a portal to a new beginning
It seemed the right new future for me
Less about losing, more about winning
As I already sense this is my ascendancy
What was a solid reality is now thinning
I keep on moving, step by step
Through the sunshine, through what's left
In my life, I need a hand to hold
Friends and family, they’re my gold
Sometimes I fear the night, it’s true
Afraid of silence, afraid of who
I might be without arms to lean
But I wake each day, chase the dream
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
Sometimes the distance, it feels so far
Between two hearts, like light to star
But I’ve learned the rhythm of give and take
A little space can heal, not break
I carry the whispers of my Father’s song
Guiding me gently, keeping me strong
Appreciate the path, the highs and lows
Roots running deep, and endless roads
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
Breaks may come like waves to shore
But love comes back, it’s what it’s for
In the stillness, I find my way
A compass tuned to a brighter day
Oh, I find the beauty in every breath I take
The quiet moments, or the ones that break
Life is precious, like the first sunrise
No, I can't gamble with these borrowed skies
