Premium Member If I Shopped For My Spouse Like I Shopped For My Automobile

Before beginning my search,
I realize there are many models,
its not easy for anyone,
      even a savvy girl.
      Does he make me twirl,
will it be a throw of the dice,
I check out his "sticker price!"
Does he have a warranty to research?

I check out all of his review,
and his history in the world,
his finances, any crashes?
      I am no mystic,
      although not materialistic,
I have no intention of falling,
   for a lemon, always stalling!
Is he a shining example to choose?

I will give him a test drive,
for a drive in the country,
down a highway we will roar.
      See if he overheats,
does he have a cozy seat,
Okay, so all good so far it seems,
oh, yes he is my dream!
Any weird on line stuff still alive?

Has he a lifetime warranty, free!
Perhaps he will rust out before me,
perhaps he is not worth the price.
      Well, I finally decide,
hope I got one with pride.
If not there is a trade in,
possibility, and then again I begin!
Oh, are you the right model, guy for me?

I promise to take care, I do,
to caress you every day,
to keep you out of rain and snow.
We will go out often too,
       I will never leave you,
illegally parked, never will that be,
part of your life, my shining Cherokee!
Except if we crash, then you are history, adieu?

Premium Member Shut It Down Now

Man learns lesson hard way
Gets too close to mother bear and cubs
I see the headline but do I click?
The morbid side of me agrees with the curious side.
We really should see this.
But wait. My nightmares for years side reminds me.
What horribleness would we be seeing?
Does the mother bear eat the man’s head?
The morbid side smiles, thinking weird thoughts about this.
My true blue side kicks in and has the last word.
She knows how tender hearted I am, and how horrified I can be.
She has stayed up with me during nightmares that last years.
SHUT IT DOWN NOW! She commands.
I am relieved.

Premium Member Life Is Indeed a Malayalam Movie

Life is a very long movie
Life is a brief biography
Life is not an encyclopedia
But a book of several chapters
Life is a garden of flowers
Do not blame Wikipedia
For the bad, fake or false stories
People love tragic or faulty memories
Please forgive the darn Media
The writers, the reporters, the journalists
Who have failed to expose the racists
The rapists, the killers, and the liars
Life is full of surprises and nightmares
Life is made of many sporadic dreams
Bring the lanterns, bring the beams
Our world is sinking in a dark hole
It's obvious that every day is not Super bowl
Life behaves like a roller-coaster
Wear the belt, danger is around the corner
Life is made of ups and downs
Horrors, chaos, innuendoes, stories
Souvenirs, fun and bad memories
Do your job, and ignore the clowns
Life is awesome, awkward and unpredictable
Life is strange, weird, different and delectable
Life is indeed a malayalam movie
Life is a short biography.

Premium Member Compulsive Nose Picker

We watch Martha dig out buckets of stuff
From a nose that always has more than enough
Globs of boogers, and moogers, then she takes a sneeze.
We watch in fascination, as we eat our grilled cheese.

She must be nervous or something the new guy says.
You think? I ask as I study his face; his name is Dez.
She is digging so deeply, will she bring out gray matter?
I do not judge for in my weird family lives THE Mad Hatter.

We employees always leave work at the exact same time.
Martha’s nose is all stressed out and red but there is no grime.
We watch her get into her blue Chevy, and begin to dig.
It makes some of us go home and eat less like a corpulent pig.

Premium Member Who In the Darkness Follows Me

Who in the darkness follows me
Now I hear a sound very near
I turn around and almost faint
What's going on tonight is so bizarre

I see weird things all the day
Footsteps and shadows make me prey
Ghostly figures fly the air
I'm about to lose all my wits

I want to race home so fast
Witches cackle right past me
Vampires in flowing long,black capes
Bare their fangs and look so ghast

Who in darkness follows me
Scaring me grisly and silly
My heart is beating like a drum
Around me the air is turning chilly

Tonight, the night is so shrilly
It's the Night of Halloween!
Goblins,demons, witches and guillotines
I am turning sickly and green

It's Halloween Night!
Children in costumes go trick or treat
Door by door to every street
And they carry bags filled of sweets

It's Halloween Night!
Who in the darkness follows me
I see grinning witches and Jack 'O lanterns
I'm racing so scared, as they follow me home tonight.

Can'T Touch My Toes

Woke up this morning
With news headlines spawning
I do not know if it's winter yet
Because of old age I often forget
Got to realise how weird it is
When I can brush my teeth
And scratch my nose
But try as I might
I just can't touch my toes

Wasn't too bothered when
Often times back ache set in
And even when Viagra
Didn't give me the desired vim
But this is not a funny joke
The morning when I woke
And begin to realize
That I could twist my hip
Do a jig
But try as I might ,
I just can't tough my toes.

Pinocchio was a lier
Kristine Keeler was a hooker
And Lord Lampton got exposed
But trouble comes in different parcels
But where mine is heading
God only knows
When my wallet drop on the floor
Bend down to pick it up
Like brass monkey in winter
The entire lumber vertebrae, froze

Often times mi get a pain in the neck
When it comes, I can deal with it
Sometimes mi love to dance
Do a foxtrot and even a quickstep
But that is no compensation
When mi toe nail look like talon
And size ten no longer fit mi
But try as I might to cover them
With knitted socks, mi get since when
Its a doomed attempt
Flexibility is now a distant memory
And back ache now my closest friend

Mi know young people
Will laugh at old people's talk
But it only seems like yesterday
When I too was laughing
But today , I am walking the walk.
The same thing whey a reach mi
Is the same thing a happen to mi friend
But if you think it can't reach you
You better think again

Mi used to be a little sprite
Do head spins and bouncing somersaults
Do some boxing, and throw down a fight
But time travels faster than lightening
And my black hair overdosed on whitening
So before you reach my milestone
Heed my warning, get enlighten
That one day, not so far away
Things are going to be past memories
Because try as you might
You may bend your knees ,
Scratch your nose
Try as you might
You just can't touch your toes.

Creating a Super-Hero Part4

I would help the air by blowing smoke
into outer space.
Not like the teens who blow it in my face.

Bok Choy!
For the farmer I would bring rain,
precipitation to wash upon delicious leafy greens.

Oooooh!
I would open the clouds just like they were a tap,
with a wave of my hands, stop drought
with a thunderous clap,
cause a streak of lightning just because I can.

I would make the water the purest, the tastiest,
I would take hydration to the maximus!

Nothing but the best for us, for the food
we harvest into healthy snacks.

The Arctic needs more cold
to keep the temperature well below.
Zero would be the problems when my frosty breath
takes hold.

I would use my lungs, my will, my color changing lips, to solidify the icebergs, fortify their length and width.
It is my pleasure, my treasuring,
just the nature of things, taking their course,
the power coursing through my veins
of course from love's mysterious source.

It would be like a tornado on the tundra.
Science meeting alchemy,
like liquid nitrogen caught in a breeze.

Where responsibility meets a good deed,
and nature meets with sorcery, haha indeed!
From Antarctica to the Arctic Sea,
I would do a solid for the life that thrives
on the world's icy shelf.
As far as the eye could see,
people will see me not just thinking of myself.
Even though I wouldn't mind an icee, or a slurpee,
or a magic elf.....a stereo, surround soun.....
ahem, sorry about that..

I would clear the old growth forests
with the back of my hand,
chopping like a kung fu master,
the bark, stump, branch, the whole botanical span,
and i'd pick up the trash just scattered about
and i'd put that sh...put it in a can.

I could take away the fuel
for an out of control blaze,
and give it to the elderly
for warmth on cold winter nights
and cold winter days.

It would also ensure to the animals
a lifelong place they can run and jump
and also graze.
But no cruising please,
it would be weird to run animal's vehicle plates.
I'm just sayin'.

Premium Member My Most Secretive Smile

The boss began to boss me which I love.
I nodded with the fake smile I reserve for such an occasion.
She is not trained.
She has no idea what I do.
But she thinks she is the boss, and not just of me.
Of hundreds of others

My friend walks by and gives me a weird look.
I do not stick out my tongue but I want to.
She walks by three more times, staring.
The wall is glass so she can see me easily.

Later she asks me what that was all about.
I lie and say I do not remember.
You had the weirdest smile on your face, she tells me.
I have never seen that smile on your face before.
Which is why we are friends.

Brains, Brains and More Brains

(THIS IS A FICTIONAL POEM)

I want to eat brains and I want to eat them now.
Bring me the brains of a pig or the brains of a cow.
People usually get sick when they see me eating brains.
Some people say I'm weird; others say I'm insane.
I order more brains when I'm asked what I want for dessert.
I did this yesterday and the waiter was a little curt.
He stabbed me in the nuts with a fork and then he stuck it in my eye.
I threw him out of a two story window to see if he could fly.
I learned that he couldn't fly when he hit the ground.
He weighed over half a ton and he cracked the pavement for miles around.
This restaurant has lousy service that shouldn't be allowed.
I'm going to start kicking asses if I don't get some brains right now.

Premium Member Things Doesn't Always Have To Make Sense

Things don't always have to make sense because no one makes the rules
I can say and do things the way i want because i do what I choose
God has given me free will so who are you to take that away
There is no established rules when it comes to what i do and say
There does exist a right way but i want to take a different route
That's what makes us different from what comes up out of our mouths
What i do may not makes sense to you because that's what makes me, me
No two people are the same so you may not could see what i see
What you find tacky and ugly i might find as a treasure
What you find boring and sad might bring me untold pleasure
No one can dictate or tell another how to be
The one dictating might care a lot while the other one is care free
I'm easily amused and happy and can see a whole lot out of nothing
Just because a person has their ducks in a roll don't mean they actually have something
Maybe i like being weird and i might at times seem dense
But i really don't care that much about everything making sense.
