It’s weird…we are two peas in a pod…
I downloaded you like a Sims’ mod
Because you got me hooked on your looks…
You are as fascinating as a billion books…
You accept me, you don’t reject me…you are my constructive building blocks
I crawl on you like a weird-looking insect – I am curious of your peace and wraths
Or a mole on your skin, but I’d rather not see…your facial expression aftershocks
I dunno…we are independent, but I feel like…we cross paths…
My past girlfriend followed me on instagram…
And on Facebook…
And on Twitter…
And on other social media websites…
I barely got into social media when I was 30 years of age…
And I’m on many, many rampages…
Alzheimers, man, they have a way to trigger you
Into insanity…
Into a lane of vanity
To go up and down walls
Unknown to me at all
All y’all didn’t answer their calls
Don’t fall, don’t trip, stand tall
I was on snapchat when I was 47 years of age…
I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar when I got hospitalized at age 13…
I am hard-working, but at the same time, there is nothing wrong with me…
I am pretty good for my age – I’m 97, going on 98…
I was a responsible adult, paying bills…nothing in the world is free
Nothing in this wretched world is free
Nothing in this crazy, physcho world is free
Nothing in this ever-whirling world is free
But, baby, always remember…
You were born in the month of December
Ooooh, now I didn’t lose my train of thot
Don’t I look hot? Oh wait, no hate, I lovin’ it…
I made progress and it’s exhilaratin’ and logically legit…
I may be materiasitic,
But at least I’m being realistic
I was born and raised rich
I ain’t no game glitch…
But, what goes around comes back around…
I am found, though my body, with gravity (which ain’t helping), has been bound…
Where’s my wheelchair?
Does anyone even care?
I am lying here in despair…
Help me, save me, everyone stares here
I am afraid; yet, I have no fear…
For God is here and there…
I’m prepping for school
the unglamorous labour
that builds a future
I like to read people's ‘back to college’ lists - where I can sample what students are buying this year. I find these lists on college-ish websites like ‘Her Campus.’ The number one desire this year is for Apple Air Pods (I certainly love MY AirPod 4s).
We read in silence,
both contented this counted
as togetherness
Beside lists there are surveys on trends.
“Good news,” I announced to Peter, who was sitting next to me, “hot, weird guys are in,” I said it with the satisfaction of someone whose personal choice has been validated by GenZ.
“I still don’t want one,” he says blandly.
Looking at a list of 'questions for your boyfriend,' I asked,
“If you had to change one thing about me, what would it be?”
“Well, you could lose the clothes,” he suggested, helpfully.
No one cares
but I like his hairs
not one more than another
but his left ear
is superior to the other
you heard it here

A song for this:
Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John
selfharm. "the action in which an individual intentionally harms their own body on purpose. also known as, 'non-suicidal self injury'." jeez, why would anyone even do that? i mean....i get why but...i can barely even handle a papercut. god im getting shivers even thinking about doing that to myself. i dont like getting hurt. i would NEVER do that.
i did it. only once....or twice...okay maybe a few more than that. my head was just getting too loud and i found some websites online and a lot of people were saying it helps and it makes them feel better so i wanted to try it out. it wasnt bad or anything i only did it a little bit. i mean, its not like its drugs. yeah. i could be on drugs or alcohol or whatever else is bad for you but its just this. i dont think my mom would be too mad if she found out, its not like its an addiction. i can stop whenever i want.
i cant stop. i cant i cant i cant i cant everytime i try it feels like theres bugs crawling under my skin and the only way it stops is if i give them a way out. if i cut. its so stupid god im an idiot. i hate doing it now. it feels...euphoric in the moment. but after, it feels like i crash and realize how stupid it was for me to even start. how do i even tell anyone? will anyone take me seriously? ive read so many forums and everyone just....expects teen girls to selfharm. it feels so normalized i feel like if i told anyone theyd tell me its whatever, every teenager does it. i dont want to be every teenager anymore.
im scared of myself. i wish i never started. i wish it was taken more seriously. if i was on drugs, theyd send me to a rehab center or to the hospital. why....why when its this its different? i just get looked at like im a sick teenage girl yet no one helps. they just take away the blades. tell me not to do it. why does everyone think that helps? i dont think ill ever be taken seriously. my mom cant even look at me, let alone help me. god...what have i done? this is ruining my life, its killing me. teenage addiction will never be taken seriously until it kills
TOWN CHILDREN
Town children fast to use
smart phones indoor
but not so smart
to run fast outdoor.
Town children accustomed
going to websites
but make frown to
go to countryside.
but enjoy circus in full
watching clowns posing fool.
Disciplined town children are bound
to play in modern courtyard.
Yet they fully enjoy open ground
to play free hazard haphazard.

My epitaph writ large...
courtesy third person singular.
Mise en scène pour décès
pardon his feeble attempt at French,
a unilingual English language
quibbling, and scribbling mensch
strongly advises applying
left handed monkey wrench,
which custom designed tool
assigned impossible mission
to discern sense and sensibility
regarding following poetic thread
subject of a fool's errand.

He hesitated and lost out
on game of life big time
even fumbling crafting reasonable rhyme
noshing, spending, and whiling
inordinate amount of hours
squirreled away in his bedroom
surrounding himself with reading material.
He amassed fountainhead of knowledge
quietly engorging cerebral gray matter
whereat noggin swelled up
rivaling globe, but Atlas shrugged
at him, whose head
resembled the first Chinese brother
who swallowed the sea.
Odd his voracious appetite
to buzzfeed with one

zealous precocity to engross himself
with storied reading material
that does extremely excite

keeping his cute button nose
between pages of choice morsels
to appease hunger
keeping himself awake
drinking high test coffee
during darkness aided by jacklight
processing meaty material with might
experiencing abundant, exultant,
intoxicant, over-extravagant
joie de vivre day or night,
a balm, elixir, inebriate... quite
the panacea to abet emotional incapacitation
which entails crafting poems
oftimes spending efforts
with efforts undertaking rewrite
unwittingly garnering a fanbase

Thank you, Lemmy, I am just listening now
Listening now to your fantastic album
“Expanded”, it’s amazing. It’s give me blood and life
Life and Blood in my brain are expanded
"Just 'Cos You Got the Power"
This is an amazing track, living life
Nevertheless, I am an almost dead single-life
Living life, here are five ante meridiem
Alcohol has slowly gone from my veins and blood
Hmm, it’s my life. But life. …Of a feeble man's life
But coming now the daytime, the daily hours and times
And everything will be changed,
Coming the good Christian’s life
Then evening, then night, and…
Oh! Letter be light! Then…
Coming to my Satanistic life
Satanistic? No, I am not that. He is my only best friend
I am a good man, a bible reader, a bible study person, a man
But nighttime inside, inside in my heart and my mind changed…
All the desires
Satan taught me and gave me new thoughts and desires
He is my master, prophet, philosopher, theologian, counselor, mentor
He always teaches me telepathically
He night to night always builds my life
He and I created together created my websites
My life has expanded from dark to light
And from the light to the dark
This life is the whole life
Dark and light?
The Dark and the Light!
Black and white?
No, my life isn’t a monochrome vision
My life is colorful, only mine
It’s a rainbow, including all the colors
And a flesh, death is realized
My soul just now arriving into a new life
There waiting me the death
Laughing and saying to me, Welcome! Step in!
Throne room
Pomp
Magnificence impressions
Satan smiling on the throne
Says to me Welcome! Welcome!
And he continues: I saved your laptop and camera, here you go
Continue your work and never stop
Your life includes new emotions, thoughts, and desires!
I woke up
I am an enlightenment
Clicking my camera
My verse under Yeats’ carved door
he merrily chuckled at white
envelope, sketched butterfly
said he preferred to receive
verses this way rather
than reading them across
post-modern websites
a languid phantom
He invited me to an idyllic tea
we savoured small
cheese squares, crumbly
scones watching a squirrel
chomp a cheerful chestnut
LOST AND FOUND
What word can describe
fleeting images, dreams of poets graduated, yet living on ?
V A C A N T
….a vacancy that awaits a letter
wandering ethereal
a word manifesting ____on old desk
a Lover expecting his
Beloved with cherries and hat
a shadow across
poetic spaces
Yeats, gone

There's no need to worry, who wants to steal your work?
You think that under every stone, some thieves may lurk;
I wish they would - they may have more success than me,
perhaps they might get the credit for decent mystery.
Someone said they changed websites because of abuse,
don't say everything's wonderful, be smart, hang loose;
one guy called me a 'f------ ****,' just be a mouse,
what would you expect from someone like a scouse.
I won a competition, someone liked me after all,
but then how could you resist something so magical;
my wife also writes, with perception, iron with feeling,
a good team - she does the ironing and I do the stealing.
Check your bank account - the scammers might clear you out,
before you start wondering what all this security's about.
A computer mind, has captured my imagination,
Not through crap or bull, with honest evaluation,
Adds up the variables, gets straight to the point,
Runs a diagnostic, forever failing to disappoint.
Keeps me straight and narrow, open minded views,
Somehow makes sense, from my obscuring clues,
Analysing my poems, bringing meaning to myself,
An encyclopedic brain, of incomprehensible wealth.
Had so tough an upbringing, especially for a child,
Deserves more from life, silly poems I’ve compiled,
Sometimes feel your spirit, but sadness coincides,
Want you to find happiness, not websites full of lies,
So feelings harboured, your poetry’s ever savored,
Especially what’s it called, oh yeah my name flavored.

i want to be like the girls online
the girls you searched for
sought out on your websites
terms put together in incoherent order
shopping for your perfect prize
which one, which video
curves, lips, thighs, belly, big doe eyes-
her.
she’s the one.
the one that isn’t me.
i want to be like the girls online
no insecurities spoken
(that would kill the mood)
no tears shed
(unless that’s what YOU want)
no complains, no i don’t knows, no buts,
no second guessing no birth control
noperiodsnobodyhairnowomanhood-
if that’s what it takes,
why won’t
my performances work?
i want to be like the girls online
the ones you keep fantasizing about
teasing you with every angle, giggle, moan
you touch yourself and she’s who you want oh and she smiles at the camera and
you smile back at her and
you love her she loves you back and
you finish.
and it wasn’t me,
it was the girl online.
the one that isn’t me.
and she’s like beautiful,
and i can’t blame you.
and i want to be one of the girls online.
