Words Said In Anger

....Can fall on deaf ears:

And if not,

Can hurt more than you know,

Later,

Regrets hanging out on a line,

Waiting to be forgiven,

Some will be,

Others left blowing in a lonely breeze,

Have to be even more careful,

In a small town like this,

These walls have ears,

The windows have eyes,

Greeted by empty streets when you appear,

Friendly neighbor now your judge,

All his sad secrets,

Safely tucked into his vest,

Heaven forbid should his past be revealed,

Voice now speaking quiet lies,

Raised only in righteous accusation,

Of faults you've never dismissed,

Yet want to hide,

From those with no compassion,

Reveling in your shame,

Having buried their own,

In the backyards of their minds,

Such cruelty,

No other living creature would bestow,

No,

Only humans with their free will gift,

Of thought,

Draped in pathetic robes,

Of hypocritical truths,

Living in their lies,

Sight lost of understanding,

Worshiping the almighty dollar,

Blinded to their eternity,

Morality,

Only a word to be despised,

Lost.

"A poem to me is the essence of any thought,
Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."

Slay Queen Slays Better

When at night so late
I put up courage to say hello
And got stocked up waiting
Hoping you will pick up
But all ended in mistrials

When at night your shyness dictates
You think walls have ears without hole
Think of online chatting
A place our distance-difference perfectly hookup
Or you try out redials

When alone with my thought
All I think of is your how far
That do sound caring and true
For the share of light in heart
Travels at reach for its spark

When alone with your lot
The blind crush on your superstar
Which gets you detained in blue
Through lust by thrusting smart
In dark soul reigniting a mark

On you to slay for play
With love in laughter to live
For a course you won't curse
And steal the gold you hold
To run your own race of fate

Beware of your awareness
In check for possibLe wreck
Which gives freedom that blossom
To swallow your grace in shallow
And bless your beast with a dream feast

Be sick and do not say
Had I know, I wouldn't have contrived
The idea I duly stand to reinforce
With all strategies cajoled to unfold
For gain and pleasure skillfully collate

But in the end, you've learned how men display
And how to let better one survived
As the master of your mind; the one you endorse
That no other pranks get to remold
The s you've long gone castrated

They say walls have ears and listen to the secret whispers of the night,
but have they ever heard my tears, the entwined and broken words,
confessions rising like steam above a heart burning in silence,
while the murmur of pain flows like an unseen river through cracks in cold stone?
If the walls had a voice, they would whisper secret answers in a gentle murmur,
like wind through the branches of a forgotten tree, guiding lost steps in the darkness,
offering me refuge in their soothing song, the stone caress of unshared love,
an echo that soothes the shattered desires of my soul, like a sweet comfort in the night.
As the night lays down like a carpet of black velvet, the shadows grow,
drawing stories only the heart can read, a dance of lost souls,
and if, instead of being silent witnesses to my unrest, they would sing an old lullaby,
I would find the sweet sleep of forgetting, a moment suspended between dream and reality, a gentle refuge.
They say walls have ears, but I wish they had the voice of an eternal friend,
a companion of silence that answers me, calming the storms of my heart with warm whispers,
to be the beacon in the endless night of my solitude, offering solace beyond words,
in a world where only the echoes of desires are heard, whispering the truths I have not spoken.

Walls Have Ears

We were told walls have ears
So we were advised to speak
In low soft whispers,
Lest our neighbours would hear.

We were told the night
Should only be graced in low volumes
As the silent night could give us out
While our voices could jump fences,
Or connect with the walls of neighbours miles away.

Our walls became our enemies
How can a wall that was supposed
To be a barrier between us and our neighbours
Cave-in to our words in the silence of the night?

So we were frightened to speak
For fear that our neighbours
May have their ears glued to the wall.
Those were times when we spoke ill
Or make some ranting on our neighbours’ attitude.

Walls do have ears
We could hear our neighbours
Sometimes lashing out at their children,
Sometimes we could hear wives-
Cursing their cheating husbands.

In the silence of the night
When our neighbours talked or laughed
It must be all about us,
And when names were being mentioned
They sounded like they were ours.

They say words do jump fences,
Oro a ma fo gana
So do not speak foul of those you share walls with
Do not mention their names in the dead of the night.

Since walls do have ears
I still wonder how it was-
Able to talk and not just listen.

The Secret

THE SECRET

Shh! The walls have ears; let them not hear you
Let no other ear hear this! Threatening warnings of my father
Compelled alliance with my father; concealing the truth from my mother
Sight of my mother’s ignorant face; pierces my heart for ever knowing what I can’t say
All for peaceful co-existence; infidelity of a careless father.

Silent whispers, hush sounds; the atmosphere seemed tense
The truth clung to my mouth like school kids shown the cane; I gave the lie
Incapacitated by destitution; circled in a transfixed indecision with quavering lips
Just sitting on the fence; eyes that saw the truth but went blind on it.

The remembrance; the ugly promise of sealed lips
Kleptomaniac tongue; always pouring lies with reasons
Eyes that said one thing but meant another; can’t betray itself
If this mouth ever opens to say the truth; ugly liquids will flow from the human lake.

You are guilty! Accusing anthem of his conscience
A reminder of how a truth from his tied tongue could have saved a life
Just only two ugly options to choose; the truth or the lie
Chose the favourable lest the unfavourable will make him the enemy
All for friendship sake; a secret only to the ears of the grave.

Unsolved

Unsolved

Mystifying the situation control room shut the door
Huge questions returned without willed answers
Everything was simple sun was shinning
No dark was there trying to make more oblivious
The will of arrogant mind was in confusion whether to sublime
Unsolved came collecting litters from all side
And whispered matter was not simple
Neck turned towards him and eyebrow alerted not to signal
All four walls have ears to hear and lenses are put everywhere.
Poor stepped away shaking broom for another place
Returned immediate as if he saw ghost horrifying
Bla bla he blew in air in vain no words was clear to in
Insert the key into a lock to open it for dirt clean

Message rolled as if advertisement at square place
Suspension declared for three months from for betterment
All should be clear without hindrances
Unsolved whether new or not the decision
Matter flashed sticking paper on notice board
Seeing paper written and signed by delegates
Thumb pin on four sides did not speak
Gatherings started to become thin
Stepping away with different guess.
Unsolved remained again in the hope of solving case.

The words echo, walls have ears
Echoes around the centuries not absurd.
My Pisces ways have me believing
From childhood to where I am today.
Days when food was in short supply
Mother became a magician preparing meals.
The kitchen table was quieter than normal
I was often banned to my bedroom
Appreciate what you have, met with quiet disapproval.
My bedroom was my kingdom, full of imaginary friends.
Noise of conversation, brought my parents to the scene
Fathers head appeared through a half open door
Looked, and left me to my own World.
Mother checked, giving me the look
She held out her arms inviting comfort,
Be careful of words and how they are spoken
These walls are listening.
My invisible friends all nodded in agreement,
My punishment room was full of treasure
Friends came and went, the door frequently opened.
Now later in life I ponder these times
I feel I have deserted them these friends of mine.
On occasions when waking from dreams
Laughter is slowly fading, but I can hear
I utter some words, then hear a closing door.

If the Walls Have Ears

If the walls have ears
They will hear of my tears
Of a lost pride and embraces
I speak of love but hatred has been
My friend at the start of each day
Listen to the sound words of a lost man
In an unknown perfect road of love
What business does a fowl have with the
Grasses of the field when the grains
Awaits him at the door step?
I cry only for your sake, i weep
In the cage when all has gone to bed
I hope for that faithful glorious sabbath
Morning on the altar when i will say i do to you

If the walls have ears
They will pick up the sound of my tears on the ground
Your love made me blind
Your beauty lifted my dreams positively on the other
Phase where men are adored by the gods
I speak always to the four corners of the walls
They couldn't help me in any way but stare
I love you but hate you for the punishment
On my mortal soul.

Paranoid Eyes

We live in the old part of town
Where the walls have ears
And the dark, eyes
We have learned to watch
What we say and do
Until mere husks remain
Of former selves

But we are proud
To live in such a world
Where inside is out
And out knows what is in
Where age-old atavistic fears
Have been projected
Into technological feats

We even like
That our phones know
What we want to buy
Before we do
The iron fist of the surveillance state
Now just a velvet glove
On a limp consumer wrist

At least we have our dreams
The place where all lights shine,
And all eyes turn, on us
The land before time
Within the prison of our minds
Secure that we, while endlessly watching,
Are at least the only ones
