Premium Member Refurbished Fairy Tales: Cinderella, If the Shoe Fits Part Three

The happily ever after...

He searched the kingdom for a fortnight 'til all saddle sore and weary,
With his eyes bloodshot and bleary,
The prince arrived at the last door.
He found two sisters, far too ugly, and an even uglier mother,
And asked himself why even bother,
This whole darn quest's become a bore.

Then from the kitchen came the vision he had searched so far and wide for.
He asked stepmother what she'd lied for
To say the three of them were all.
A flash, a crash, there was the gown, and then he saw her bare right flipper,
And on the left, a crystal slipper…
The girl he'd danced with at the ball.

The stepmother feigned regret that they had sadly so misjudged her,
T'was for her good that they'd begrudged her,
But to a prince one shouldn't lie.
On her wedding day the trio met the fate they should have dreaded,
They were arrested and beheaded,
And Cindy never blinked an eye.

The wedding feast and celebration were the grandest in the nation,
The king and queen felt jubilation,
Their son was "normal", after all.
They could retire and the crown would be passed down to their descendants,
Their kid, grandkids, and co-dependents,
They were so glad they'd had that ball.

But on their wedding night the prince confirmed his sexual confusion,
And forced them both to the conclusion,
Theirs was no fairy tale romance.
But still they made the marriage work, although they had no little nippers,
Sometimes he wore her gown and slippers,
And Cinderella wore the pants.

So, in conclusion, Cinderella got her semi-happy ending,
In spite of all the rules I'm bending
To tell her tale and make it new.
It wasn't meant to be so grand,
But what my muse commands, I do,
And now in bidding fond adieu,
My hat is off to those of you
Who stuck it out and read it through.

The End

This Paradise Will Not Be Paved

kissing the underbelly of a white cloud
becoming perfectly serene in adequate comfort
thinking about you as you keep me warm by continuing to prove me wrong
i let too many things go, but this paradise will not be paved

rubbing the gaseous belly of a butterscotch bunny
enjoying the stunning stillness of actually being settled
thinking about you as you cool me off by continuing to prove me wrong
i let too many things go, but this paradise will not be paved

making my feeble attempt to skate away on a riveting river
praising the Lord for the clear vision of yet another perfectly peaceful day
thinking about you as you calm me down by constantly uplifting my spirits with surefire guarantees
i let too many things go, but this paradise will not be paved

Thank God I Found You....AMEN....

Premium Member Clowns Drive A Camaro

Intro
Clowns drive a Camaro and the World is full of clowns/
By the end of 2023, Camaro’s will run the town/
Even the clown haters wanna join the Camaro line/
Back to back to back we about to tear the circus down/
Verse One
Clowns drive a Camaro, and drive them super fast/
Put the pedal to the metal, and you can hear the blast/
These average Joe clowns I just honk and bypass/
Like an early morning meal, they hit the brake fast/
I like the colors loud, so I can broadcast/
But you can only see the white walls when I fly past/
I keep open containers because I drive DWI/
But I’m focused tunnel vision and I got an Eagle eye/
Camaros hug curves like a hip and thigh/
And the sound of the engine, can sing a lullaby/
I rock exotic stickers, so I can signify/
That I’m a true clown so you should turn a blind eye/
Driving a thousand miles with my mind preoccupied/
A recipe for destruction, purely suicide/
All of my cars, fly swift as a sparrow/
I guess that’s the reason clowns drive a Camaro/
Verse Two
Camaros represent the struggle and represent the hustle/
When it comes to a Camaro it’ll be hard to out-muscle/
It’s not too luxury, but luxury enough/
You have never seen a Camaro that is built Ford tough/
Paint job butternut, seats coconut/
And it’s only fine leather sitting under my bottom/
I play my metal loud so the six-twelves hit/
And the six by nines tick and I keep at least six/
All the ladies love my car they all wanna ride/
IF they really wanna get in, then it’s do or die/
I can drive through a storm and it won’t get wet/
And I use jet fuel because my car a super jet/
I fly by Hellish they say I have a death wish/
But I’m a Hellish clown, so it do me no justice/
Everybody tip their hats, when I ride by/
And when this song drop, Camaro sales will multiply/

Premium Member Enclosed in a Mist

Enclosed in a mist
      no vision
      I cannot see
beyond the limits of my cares
      beyond are trees and grass
      and sunshine
      life
      but I can’t see
the gloom has closed me in.

   My tiny world
      a prison
      walled
      a room without a view
      I walk short paces
      round and round
      without escape
   from worry’s cold pursuit.

   Imagination
      feeds my fears
      the future
      meaningless
      and dark
      anxieties
      burn love
   and friendship from my soul.

   Then Jesus comes
      with light and warmth
      that lift the mist
      and distance comes
      and life
      bursts out in morning splendour
      and vision comes
      renewed
      and hope revives
      in beauty once again
      a new perspective –
   the Glory of my King!

Tap

Tap into it
Tap deep
Deeper than a river
Deeper than a conversation
Deeper than your feelings
Your emotions
Let's talk
Let's dig deep
Listen please do not speak
Let me express my inner thoughts
This is a sacred part I'm opening up
To not be judged
But to be heard
I want to send the message off like a bird
Speaking with just a voice
And no vision
Can make you make the wrong decision
Tap into yourself
Instead of tapping into everyone else
Figure out you
No need for a clue
Because no one knows you more than you
One thing I can say
And this is real
In due time all wounds will heal
It will heal
You will be fine
You are so divine
So special, you are so much better
Than your circumstances trials and tribulations
Know that your current situation is not your final destination
Tap like you're tapping a pen take the top off and write
Write everything in sight
Talk about it digest it
And just think
How things can change in a blink
Of an eye
Only thing is requested is that you try
Try to tap into greatness
No longer need the fakeness
Let's finish it , this is a wrap
Definition broken down when you Tap

Life- a Role

LIFE- A Role

Life is an amazing way….. to get your part sooth a way....
Harshly made this art to say…….its gonna swap your world away...
Tripping on the this world's hay……. Losing grip with great disgrace.
Coping with the nature……. and being in hustle just to keep the same....
Mark my word, I got to say...... Think of self is not so best.....
Acting coy to people…….. who love you and you just love make a drag..
Dragged me to the platform, …and put me against a train...
Is this the journey to make someone's way to hell...
Keep this prayer up……..till the God listen and take your mess...
Its the world baby…….. you gotta live ,else gonna fade away....
You ain't shadow….. you're so solid, which gonna have to be dead...
Skipping those features..... that won't let you to learn some taste...
Senseless, meaningless, prideless are the words to praise....
Pick up some tactic and put it down in your business tray..

This is how it works the damn....
Typically saying its the same..
to get it done in the fashion... as I’ve mentioned the game...
This is my vision... to think about this caused mayhem...
If you want to be tamed…. then frame yourself in this race....
Be brave, keep it low.. and you gonna win this fame.....
Wake up, for sake of human…. And you gotta Titanize your name....

When I close my eyes I hear the sound of your voice floating in the
air like dandelion fur, catching the breeze and dancing upward.

I remember the day when we camped in the rain and wrapped
ourselves in blankets to keep warm, hearing the acorn size
drops pelting the tent and feeling the rain vibrations explore
our coupled bodies.

How could I have known then what I know now …. the ancient
wisdom that you have carried with you since the beginning of time.

    You speak to me …
Your words rise up in my soul
filling my being. I feel you gently
cupping my heart in your hands,
    caressing it tenderly. Lifting your
arms above your head I feel the
warmth of the sunlight on my
heart. With eyes closed I bask in
    the moment.

I am transported to flight as a white hawk
stretching my arms out into my new wings and alighting
on the warm current that lifts me higher.

I am surrounded ……
It is quiet as I glide. Looking downward
I dip one wing and then another. I let
myself be enveloped, conscious of the wind
on my feathers. I am free. Free to fly. Free
to take in all that surrounds me, all that is above me,
below me, the scents, the sounds, the silence, the
memories of past, and the vision of the future.
I am one with you.

Below winding rivers and streams make S shapes
and figure 8’s, dancing, curving and rolling
with winking glitter on their surfaces.
Dry red rocks dot their shores and a heat ….
A heat rushes by.

Onward, upward past towering pines reaching to
the sky whose tips call me with their green beauty.
They call. They sing. I hear their ancient voices, as
their seeds fall silently on the ground.

Leaning into a turn I dip one wing and
see water before me falling in the distance.
I am being called… beckoned onward.
There are answers ahead.

The mist clings to my feathers and
moisture coats me as I fly closer. The
water is my soul, my heart, my life.
Whiteness and sound thunder around
me and yet a peace resides within.
I am home.

The Vision

The evening opens its curtain to the shy dusk
In the cool breeze air, a slight waft of the scent of musk
I rest in my arm chair, in my hand a glass of dazzling champagne
I reminiscence of the days gone by, all the joy and the pain

And then I see her, in a vision so clear
She was only 21 and to my heart so dear
Why did I let her go I thought
In a twist of fate my destiny was caught

In an interruption my wife stands before me
In a jarring voice, like vinegar on teeth
“ How many times did I tell you, put the newspaper back
You leave it everywhere except in its rack”

I sigh with one last look at my vision
She seemed to smile at me and say
Yours was the heart I stole
But she is the medicine for your soul

Leave Me Alone-Not For Contest Judgement

I'm plagued by memories I'd rather forget,
and with shadows that linger, I'm often beset.
They hover around me, leaving me daunted
in my waking hours and in dreams ill-haunted.

I've shouted, "Leave me alone!" They smirk
and lie await. In defiance, they loom and lurk,
stabbing far too deep inside my injured heart.
My voice raised in rage, but they do not depart.

Thoughts of yesterday cause sorrow and pain,
tripping me until I stumble and fall in disdain.
Despondent, I continue to pay a hefty cost
with each echo as a memory of what I've lost.

"Leave me alone!" My protests are always denied
A crossroad where memories and sanity collide.
They've begun taking an afflictive maudlin toll,
obscuring my vision, and wounding my soul.

Respite from my memories will never be a gift.
They surround me each day, casting me adrift,
tossed upon an angry sea, where they dwell.
I'm drowning in their whirlpool, headed for hell.

If death is the only solution to rid me of my past
I will sail on the stormy sea, tethered to the mast.
No longer vexed by my recollections, unrepressed.
I choose mortality over being endlessly oppressed.

The Evil In You

The eyes from which I see have no clarity, no vision, no view
Distortion, these eyes blinded by confusion
Blinded by you
You are the mirage when one's thirsty, the dark shadows in the night
Medusa, stone killer of the heart
What I see I just can not believe, but it's true
The Evil B!?%H in you
Fairy tale maker, love faker, all with a smile
Hollow eyes in a trance of your enjoyment, yes enjoyment
For you are only truly happy at those times
Times of chaos, times of destruction
Why am I wasting this time with you
Nothing will ever change, do you know why?
The Evil B!?%h in you
Your truth of you, mouth of dirt only wants to hurt, hurt, hurt
This is the only time you really feel alive, when you thrive
What is it you want or trying to prove
You want to be respected but rarely give it
You want to be intelligent and so manipulative
but you are only manipulating yourself into
The Evil B!?%h in you
This is what I see, and it's hard to believe
To believe that it's all real, that it's happening
That you are so serious in your conviction
Your conviction to be all the things you think you are not
But I do see, do you know what I see?
The Evil B!?%h in you.....
