The longer you run, the more they chase.
At least, that’s what they told me.
And I complied.
Because that’s what women like me do.
When your own heart seems to fade, you run.
You run, so the heart remembers its own existence.
You run, so the heart remembers to beat.
And I ran.
I ran until my lungs threatened to ghost me.
How ironic.
I ran until my limbs dragged on like lead in the ruins of my own angst.
I ran until my bones shook with the force of my sheer will to outrun my very own shadow.
And suddenly,
Attention.
The men piled up like bedsheets on a laundry day.
Each one treating me like a conquest for their own egos.
But I seem to have forgotten how to stop.
I run and I push.
I run and I slam doors.
I run and I’m labelled.
Untouchable.
Yet at the end of the day, all I am is untranslatable.
Unreachable.
Unattainable.
I was told the more you run, the more they chase.
When all it does is amplify your bone-rotting solitude.
In the search for the meaning of life, we are born in the shadow of conscious death,
An echo of the spirit, of our introspective and questioning gaze,
Under the weight of the end, we weave religions and philosophies like spider webs,
In which the thread of our life extends, like the light of a falling star.
But the crafted meaning is as fragile as dandelion fluff in a changing wind,
And we live with growing fear, our souls vibrating in dissonance,
The stories we weave become the shackles of our ethereal dreams,
And we spend our days trying to be shadows of a vast imagination.
Our lives become specters dancing on the stage of our minds,
A theater of shadows and lights, dreams and delicate chimeras,
Under the moonlight, in the gardens of time, we seek reflected answers,
In stagnant water mirrors, deepening the mystery of an unattainable truth.
Beyond cosmic silence, our hopes burn like stars on the horizon,
We try to decipher the enigma in an existence laden with shadows and light,
Happiness takes ephemeral forms, like stars reflected in deep waters,
And in this dance of melancholy, our masks fall, leaving our souls bare.
We are born in mystery and slide into the eternal unknown,
In endless quests, we understand only the fragments of a cosmic puzzle,
We cling to fragile tales, building sanctuaries from hollow illusions,
For it is only our soul that dances in the night, seeking extinguished answers.
In the temple of thought, we sculpt meanings that seem infinite and elusive,
We are but ephemeral figures, shadows of wandering lights,
And the forgotten poet of destiny, with his pen of gold,
Opens paths in dreams, always seeking the essence of a truth hidden in the stars.
Thus, we venture into this endless search,
A tribute to self-awareness, a symphony of lost souls,
We lose our identities on the altar of endless desires,
And find only fragments of light in the gaze of the vast blue.
In this way, the search for meaning becomes a journey of dreaming shadows,
A song of pure melancholy, embroidered on the fabric of secretive time,
And in the end, we discover in the deep silence of our hearts,
That only self-crafted meaning gives us wings to fly, in the sky of boundless dreams.
I have almost everything I've ever wanted
I have been granted answers to almost every dream
The only things I don't have are pretty much the unreachable
The unattainable
The totally impossible
Like loved ones not being dead
Like being able to go back in time
& apologise to those I have hurt
senselessly or deliberately, so very long ago.
Pointless, useless wants
So I've tried to turn my grief
Into emulating the strengths of those I miss.
The qualities that make me miss them the most
I've used my shame of past indiscretions
The needless pain
Given to innocent by-standers
As I raged past them on my thorny path
Damaging the sweet perfumed flowers
that should have slowed me down
If only I'd stopped to smell them
My shame and sorrow are the rocks I used
to build a bridge
a bridge to reach others in need
Hoping to ease their way through
Help clear their path
Seeing myself in them
and understanding the "why" of it all.
Because that is the biggest question of our whole life.
WHY
Unrequited love is shallow,
lacking depth; it cannot float dreams.
And yet, you'll forego happiness
for a lifetime of silent screams.
Both tormentor and destroyer,
doubt devastates your sense of pride.
A heart that craves a love denied
will wilt and slowly die inside.
Unattainable dreams fuel
frustration, anger, and remorse.
And they attack reality;
striking with irrational force.
Truth restricts the expectations
and anticipations of youth.
And yet, you have fallen in love,
acknowledging no other truth.
Feeling lost, nothing seems real,
drowning in tears, you cling to hope.
For rejected hearts often break;
finding they’re unable to cope.
You are a fantastic sufferer,
A passionate star striker-heightening my tears to happiness
How I wish for merely a moment, that I could forget all my fears
And allow myself to imagine your warm arms around me
Telling me "Alone you never be in this fight against the maggots"
And I would lay my head against you in peace,
Calmed by your heavenly inhalations
For once knowing, I never fight in the solitary despair of Alone
Reaching peaks of patience, I long to remove memories of the unattainable
Had his green eyes only met my own again...
Yet well I know, the dark intense eyes that see me,
Would admonish and feed me
With wisdom and excitement far superior than the offerings of kings
That claw my back in lust, and promise impossible things
An obsession far more potent than the wines I never drink
Do not make me cling into the furies of obsession again
Let me know you feel the same
Or else I will lay my head against the rocks,
Cradled by unpredictable seas
Laboring in merciful grief,
I seek the truth
Because whatever the answer, I will always admire you
Leave me alone....
Or Forever be my own
"Demons cry because they know your beauty surpasses the ugliest-- the most glorious."
The river of life flows freely, whispering ancient secrets under the starry sky,
the waves sing with joy, crashing against the shores with the longing for a new beginning,
the light of youth shines like a beacon in the deep night,
guiding lost steps on the paths of unseen connections,
under golden skies, clouds dance in slow and wide spirals,
a solitary duck begins its stellar spin on wings of dreams,
gliding and floating gently, seeking meaning in the heights,
pain whispers stories through veils of mysterious mist,
seasons change, flowers bow their petals to the earth,
the steadfast tree remains a silent guardian of passing time,
crossing deserts, it seeks the hidden spark in shadows,
the light that timidly shines under the gaze of stars,
the path of life seems a well-known road, eternal and mysterious,
the search for joy remains a deep and unattainable mystery,
in our dreams, sorrows find their place in silence,
happiness and pain blend into a fragile balance,
the timeless dream, a sweet enchantment that carries us beyond time,
a vision born from the gentle light of love lost and found,
we embrace the ephemerality of life with gentleness and gratitude,
through the magical webs of time that pass unceasingly and silently.
Why?
Why, my heart, you
Perpetually, are yearning to:
See the unseen
Hear the unheard
Feel the unfelt
Touch the untouchable
Attain the unattainable
Believe the unbelievable
Think the unthinkable
Conceive the inconceivable
Know the unknowable
Appreciate the inappreciable
Express the inexpressible
When,
No other heart would ever be able
To understand the purity of
Your language,
Your honesty, and
Your aspirations
Unless
It is totally submerged,
Into
Love's divine depths?

The carpet used to be a plastic kingdom,
Where Barbie lived the lives I used to crave.
I hit the age I always dreamed of holding,
Expecting to be grown, and wise, and brave.
But looking in the mirror, nothing shifted.
I see the same kid staring at the glass.
The wisdom that I waited for evaporated,
While heavy, adult breaths begin to pass.
Sixteen is brushing closely down my shoulders.
The slack is gone; the childhood curtain falls
.I miss the days of crayons on the floorboards,
Before the stacks of textbooks built these walls.
I miss when dreams were wild and unattainable,
When being a princess felt so safely far.
Because today, the dream demands my labor,
And pressure guides the course of every star.
I pour my life into a future uniform.
I fight for perfect scores to bridge the gap
.But now I fear the sea of other perfections,
And losing my own map.
Blossoms/Grows out in the wilderness ,in
the dark ,towards the light,
its beauty knows no limits and the frangrance enchanting.
Deep rooted ,strong yet so light and envigorting
and its hue changes as a ray of sun,
from dawn to dusk.
Holds all the colours and yet is colourless.
Is guarded/surrounded by giant serpents,
spewing venom when angered.
Tried their luck to tame and control serpents,
few succeeded and rest fell in their trap.
Word spread across as most unattainable,
many battles and wars, some got scars
some pain and others succumbed to it.
Wild flower, gives the strength to move a mountain,
depth of an ocean.
like from a lump of clay,it moulds to
a shape which one wishes to be.
The nectar of this wild flower is sweet, sour
and bitter, just how one tastes it.
when it fully blossoms, the fragrance is everywhere,
soothing the senses.
Makes one immortal,liberating the soul,
showing the wings to fly and soar high.
Enough with the whispers about kindness when the shadows of night ask you to embrace your own gentleness,
Enough with the tales of love until your heart becomes the source from which authentic love flows,
Enough with praising success until your journey becomes an obsession of self-discovery,
Enough with stories of power until you bleed in silence and conquer the mountains of your own struggle.
Enough with dreams told aloud until you chase them, even when you are alone under the sky of disbelief,
Enough with calls for respect until you no longer shrink in the face of others' neglect, like a sun hidden by clouds,
Enough with waiting for permissions until you claim your rights, treasures hidden beneath silences,
Enough with hiding behind words until you break through all the doors that limit your flight.
Enough with stories about destiny until you rewrite each chapter with your courageous steps,
Enough with listening to others speak about you, now is the time to be what they could never take,
Enough with perfectionism as an unattainable illusion, it's time to be yourself, with imperfections that shine.
