Funeral Nobody Came 2 Because No 1 Knew From Whence He Came

When I eventually died

And was medically pronounced dead

What remained of my body after I was dead

Had to be disposed of eventually

Cremation and burial being the only real

2 currently viable available options

The only other 1 choice was

The ceremony of ones in particular

Chosen own religious denomination

But because I am not a Christian

There will not be a priest performing
or giving me my last rights and consequently
therefore I will not go to heaven

And because I am not a Muslim

Paradise and 40 odd virgins likewise are
not waiting or in my future either

And because I am also not Jewish either

I am not going and am going to meet
or be welcomed by there God either

And so too goes for the Devil himself
as well be didn't even bother to
R.S.V.P

And as a non believer I also myself
Therefore also should expect and
believe that is no more or no less I
should deserve nor come to expect

Which in effect actually just reaffirmed
my faith and belief in death and I am
totally okay and alright and onboard with

The fact that when I am dead I am going
absolutely nowhere and neither is anyone
waiting to welcome or greet me there either

Bitter Golden Pill

I'm living life stuck in the past
To see the light where I lived only dark
A marathon like a walk in the park
That's my perspective on the past

A wind chime's song in a hurricane
The greatest pleasure from the deepest pain
And crappy times all feel like blasts

It's a bitter little pill
The kind when you don't swallow fast enough
The taste of advil and a blind man's bluff
And leaves you shaking with the chill

Finding meaning where it's all gone wrong
Doesn't mean much when all of these songs
Repeat forever, ever shrill

I'm in a static wonderland
What could I tell you about this whole year
Beyond the fact that I can't shake these fears
That have me grasped within their hand

You know it's bad when I'm calling for her
The kind of death I can't say I'd prefer
Yet at the moment sounds so grand

So does it matter anyway?
Won't I look back on these blurry days
Far in the future with my heart ablaze
And retread this tired old cliche?

And so tell me, when does this all end?
Cursed forever to repeat these trends
And live eternally in gray

I'm falling deep into the sky
Endless waves of green amongst the blue
Forever reaching out for a redo
And retread all my paths as I

To take advantage of the things I've learned
Repair the bridges that may have been burned
And save ourselves the need to cry

Hello there, I'm you from beyond
Tell me, how's this world of solid gold?
What's it like to never have known cold?
Are you treasuring these bonds?

All the things that I want you to know
I couldn't say before I'd have to go
So know, you live for all I've longed.

My World of Silence

Silence can be deafening, louder than any noise could make
from this nightmare of loneliness, if I would only now awake
my dreams are an escape, they provide me with some relief
allowing me a distraction, for my mind to ignore my grief

Dreaming of the sun and its warmth, true happiness I find
understanding for the first time in my life, bliss of the blind
only to awaken, and for this temporary recess to abandon
once again reminded, of things that only know to sadden

As the wind blows, its breeze is caught on my face
yet despite the intensity, my tears it cannot erase
the stillness of night, just continues to remind me
being trapped in my loneliness, I can never be free

My cries ride the wind, carrying them to a place unknown
stirring my feelings, feelings that only the dejected bemoan
and when the tears run out, it is clear that I did finally reach
that bottomless pit called despair, whose borders I now breach

Everything in this world, with its counterpart was it created
without this, happiness would forever remain belated
yet we become despondent that so many, alone do they exist
hearts consumed by fire, emptiness that continually persists

Where is the wisdom, and from where is the knowledge
where can we understand, and come to acknowledge
this world has a Creator, from whom everything comes into being
whatever has been ordained for us, there can simply be no fleeing

In the end, I find solace in the fact that it is never too late
if we learn how to be patient, He rewards those willing to wait
so do not give up hope, G-d saves with the blinking of an eye
first put your faith in Him alone, and stop asking the reason why

In Honor of Her Brother, Part Ii

...For a year they lived and were not bothered,
began to question what it was they’d heard,
but one careless night, though the love was sublime,
Miriam got pregnant for the second time.

Not long after things started going amiss,
Brad tried to stay calm,”Let’s not read into this.”
But furniture moved, the creaking returned,
they heard pained howls that left them disturbed.

And one still night, quieter than most tombs,
Miriam heard a dripping from the bathroom.
She felt a terror most will never know,
refused to get up, clutching covers close.

For ten long minutes the dripping went on,
then suddenly stopped, and a new horror spawned,
’cause in the doorway a tortured shape stood,
bone scraping on wood as it moved down…

Then something behind it, a new brilliant form,
shined with ethereal light by the door!
It was a young man, shimmering in white,
that beamed out brightly, lighting up the night.

He grasped the horror in a great bear-hug,
crushing inwards the great demonic thug,
as the young man fought with this entity fell,
he cried,”You are long overdue down in Hell!”

Then in a flash the two figures vanished,
Miriam sat up stunned, Brad oblivious,
light appeared again, then over her bed,
the young man floated, looking exhausted.

And though she’d not seen her first little one,
somehow she knew that she looked on her son.
The shape of his face, both Brad’s and her own,
the spirit of a boy she never had known…

James smiled and said,”The priest asked the Big Man
if he could stop this from happening again.
Normally He says that,’Vengeance is Mine,’
but He subcontracted out to me this time.”

Miriam gasped,”I….there’s so much to say…”
James said,”Don’t fear, you’ll meet me at the gates.
No need to rush though, live out all your years,
there’s so much to show my sister down here.”

With that he faded, the room now serene,
she awakened Brad to tell what she’d seen,
he seemed skeptical, but didn’t press the fact,
but the creaking and howls never came back.

From that day forth their farm was a refuge,
devoid of spirits, now hopeful and true,
and to a girl Miriam became mother,
named Etta-James, in honor of her brother.

Rotten Apples

Emotions to the situations
Caused most to frown.
Happy
Ecstatic
We wished she'd been sad
Might our preprepared conversation
Would hold.
We didn't approve of him
Said the women in this gossip circle
She wished the woman would leave
him and find a new, such would benefit
These woman as some wished to move
And do different things her malefacter
Jived with what they wanted and remaining
Friends with her meant they had to keep
Deceiving this man might he more ambitious
He saw what she was doing as mean and
Unkind, they would give advice on how to
Get things done, his limited money limited
there recreation and enjoyment.
Anew would understand through story
It would be a book of obligate to the concerment
Of there togetherness.
Plus as an ex he is conditioned to understand
Her need and would probably be a better friend
than her lover.
Excepting the fact of separation less complicates
the divide one spoke
Your eagerness to be successful in love comes
knowing you can do without all that unwillingness
to keep you centered.
A woman needs to be the full compass in a
Relationship.
Both the trebleclef and bass clef needs to coinside
For everything to groove
Get the band tuned and we can jam,
dancing all night doing the things you love to do
(Were they talking in an exemplum?

Premium Member Oh Doggie Boy

Frankie’s face so cute, sweet and appealing
Lifts one’s heart to fly up to the ceiling
The moment we met I was mesmerised
No one could resist those sparkling brown eyes.

Frankie’s adored by all residents here
His presence livens up the atmosphere
Love the way Frankie greets us all with joy
He is such a warm hearted doggie boy.

Never forgets anyone, not ever
Knowing Frankie’s an absolute pleasure
Frankie’s therapy, knows when one’s unwell
By caring actions, is how one can tell.

Oh, doggie boy, there’s no doubting the fact
You’re simply the star of our habitat.

Drift

She can't lie over that time behind mean,
From the bottom of life not planned to be lived,
It was someone else that she see,
But not in the state to grief,
In a sharp turn, things changed suddenly,
It felt as if everything was a bereave,
Tried all to get everything rightly,

She knew she was backsliding,
She knew she was not of herself,
Yeah, maybe you would be a talkative to that,
Deep within her ears, voices were directing her steps,
Not suitable to be at the bank of a deadly river,
The appearance of the river stole her instinct with a mutual urge of a diva,

Frustratingly, series of pain were developed in her neck,
No one knew where she fell as a victimized bird,
Even though one man concernedly said to her,
"Everyone is now giving a complain about you,
And I suggest you come back to your formal self",
All that he said was accepted to be a fallacy,
The problem was just a result of she being spiritually unstudious of late,

It wasn't easy for her to be repositioned,
Yet,she had everything needed to pass life examination,
Later realisation held her to revive by surprise,
And now,not even a child can deny the fact that she's alright.

Premium Member OUR PUZZLE

Friends of ours have died this year…
and though we’ve had friends who’ve died before…
as each year we grow a little older…it seems to happen more.

We’re sad when the life of someone we love comes to an end
sad they will no longer be with us…sad we’ve lost a friend…

Because we know while we put the pieces of the puzzle of our life together
as each new friend fits in…our puzzle is improved.
and we know our puzzle will never be the same…
with their puzzle piece removed.

And though there’s a good chance we will add more pieces to our puzzle
if fate and circumstances permit…
there will always be an empty space…into which no other piece will fit.

In order to counterbalance our sorrow…so we won’t always feel dismayed…
we do our best to fill that space with the memories we have made.

We smile as we remember moments…because with each new memory we embrace…
we’re amazed at how many memories line up to fill their space.

With each moment we remember…our sorrow lessons and our happiness soars…
and that empty space inside our puzzle…doesn’t seem as empty any more.

It helps us move ahead with life…to be brave and bold…undaunted…
which is exactly, we imagine, what our old friend would have wanted.

They would want the memories we made together…
to be what we’re focusing on….
those times their piece was part of our puzzle…
not …on the fact it’s gone.

Premium Member Interlude

Here upon a stray interlude,
Chance suspends choice in latitude.

Can you hear familiar whispers?
Cold winds hurling freezing shivers.

Can you hear that distant music?
A melody in zones cryptic.

Can you hear strange sounds swirl around?
Monsoon weather wets earthy grounds.

Can you hear quaint, ***** echoes haunt?
Ghostly voices in the wind taunt.

Can you hear windy rhapsody?
Rain storms greeting harsh harmony.

Can you hear the violent storm cry?
Feel the elemental sigh.

Can you hear mad, violent stirrings?
Sense pulse and purge of rain falling.

Can your hear your own vibrations?
Embrace the moment's commotion.

This interlude of bad weather
Distracts the fact of odd matters.

Three Lions Lost With Pride Restored

Sad yet proud

But the scoreline doesn't lie

Football is not coming home

But this time with a sense of pride

Not in disgust and shame

But the fact remains

We still lost

But all is not lost for once

At least we had or gave it a real go

And we finally at last have something to build on and grow

So hey ho onwards and upwards

The cupboard is no longer bare

And for once the whole country finally cares

More hope for the future than nightmares

Well done to all the Lads

Its not all bad

At last you have done your Nation Proud

Football may not be coming home

But when you do

You can hold you head up high

All we ever wanted or expected

You gave us , you may have lost but at least you tried

You have finally restored the 3 Lions Pride
