Three Lions Lost With Pride Restored

Sad yet proud

But the scoreline doesn't lie

Football is not coming home

But this time with a sense of pride 

Not in disgust and shame 

But the fact remains 

We still lost 

But all is not lost for once

At least we had or gave it a real go

And we finally at last have something to build on and grow

So hey ho onwards and upwards 

The cupboard is no longer bare

And for once the whole country finally cares

More hope for the future than nightmares 

Well done to all the Lads 

Its not all bad

At last you have done your Nation Proud

Football may not be coming home 

But when you do

You can hold you head up high

All we ever wanted or expected 

You gave us , you may have lost but at least you tried

You have finally restored the 3 Lions Pride

Hard not be really absolutely gutted but I think given some time to reflect they did us proud . If anyone had said before the actual tournament had started we would make the semi-final everyone would have snapped there hand off. Its hard to take but better than probably anyone expected.
