Imagine a brilliantly intensely inner-connected symposia
Of beliefs that humans with nature and other species can be one,
Envision flying people taught by robins and wrens, for amazing bits of fun.
Join me Sunday at 9, off exit 2 off Highway 8, I do proposia.
If you would rather learn to build dams, bring a snorkel, and wear a swimming suit.
The beavers taught six to dam last year, from ages eighteen to eighty-two.
Come sign up for at least six of our classes, assure a terrific time for you.
We will have so much fun in the forest, this may become your most favorite hoot.
If you want to bring a companion, a spouse, an onlooker, or a really good friend,
Or just come alone, in your tennis shoes, with heart and mind open creatively wide,
Come to the shelter house and sign up for all events you think you can truthfully abide.
The day will be filled with joyous communion, and a communal campfire at the end.

We’ll hold them every Saturday in the new lot by Ocean Way
There will be experts every day on everything from Z to A
For anything that you might seek; here’s just a few so take a peek:
How best to eat fiddlehead ferns and how to file tax returns,
R/C flying, knot untying, poison oak identifying,
T-shirt dyeing, deep fat frying, public grant requalifying.
There’s something new at every turn; you never know what you might learn.
Pilates, crafting, self-defense – the list goes on and never ends –
Puppet making, picture taking, ways to stop your bones from aching,
Money making, undertaking, even easy-oven baking.
Latest fads and newest trends, so come on out and bring your friends.

banging a gavel to unravel
multiple knots of itinerant thoughts
billing and queueing a crisis slow brewing
the same old charade a grand masquerade
where everyone graces the room with two faces
theater heads one alive and one dead
solving the problem of how fast can we rob’em
scatter the cash in an off shore locked cache
hoorah for symposia, no doubts all supposia
a game of three shells all whistles and bells
just keep moving the pea so no one can see
we’ll never be rid of this schemed pyramid

SYMPOSIA
There will be upcoming international symposia
on the emerging technology of efficient fastener.
This is my idea and I am acting as the convener,
kept the topic open, not restricted only to zipper.
This is personal invitation from me to you to come
as you will surely find the deliberations interesting
for there will be eminent delegates demonstrating
new techniques of binding as the recent invention.
You will benefit to learn skill of tying by taking part
for a fascinating session will be organized in the end
on the ways how the chattering lips can be fastened
if your spouse cannot keep the prattling mouth shut.

Than gawking and talking of the stars -
Frying while eyeing features on Mars,
Stomach AND mind in a sated mood?
Forums on both with experts galore -
Physicists, chefs, and pundits to query,
Seasoning, reasoning, quantum theory,
Workshops on stargazing, glazing and more!
Get your seat now, and please don't be late!

First topic for discussion will be campanology.
Newcomers will be shown the ropes and methodology.
The vicar is providing tea and scones for everyone.
Bell ringing is an ideal form of mental stimulation
And for those ladies worried about drooping batwing flab
It tones the biceps within weeks, they'll soon be looking fab
And hearts will be uplifted by sweet tintinnabulation.
I hope to have convinced you that the benefits are clear
Of taking up a hobby which holds such euphonic pleasure;
A family-friendly pastime for those wintry hours of leisure.
Ring out the old, ring in the new in this forthcoming year!
