Premium Member On the Cusp of Destiny

An overachieving college student
                with lofty ambitions.

         Her education is finally over,
a completion of a complicated puzzle.

        A summa cum laude graduate
with two doctorate degrees under her belt.

The sky's the limit, yet she struggles
to decide which fork in the road to take

She stands with her arms akimbo
                on the cusp of destiny.

As her eyes search the infinte stars
in the sky, she's wondering "Now what?"

Source Merchant Part 2

Well when the need for more space
was mentioned, one fella spoke
and said our wives have chored and labored
and have seemed to be more
obedeaint, maybe we could build
a space were they can cook together
and make clothes together
leaving the chores to be sorted
out amongest them.
all agreed and built these places
they wanted this year
to end
with a place to celebrate together.
when winter came
the new places were
opened to
the women to sort and conspire.
night after night brawls between woman
came up across the little town.
a group of college aged men from
all walks of life desided
to not marry and they choose
secretly meet
and make pregant 37 women
who were aligned to women
they were to meet
by a creek and become pregant
29 became pregant and some of these women
were aligned to male freinds who were accussed and assumed to
be fathers.
well one day
rumors began ccircling.
some said the town clergy men had
been in consortment with goldminers who
smuggled gold from
mines far away.
and sea faring men who smuck into towns and sold
goods from ships and merchants.
It was beleived the Clergymen knew
the happens and keep
the secrets of these five year of Trulige in a box
he buried in the floor of his home.
It was said he drew a map in his bible.
and the ledger and lute was
buried 3 feet from the east window. Depth of four feet.
It was enclothed in a box
made of the roots
of a apple tree.

Premium Member Indulgent Lines For a Maid Named Rose

I know a maid—her name is Rose.
She has long hair that’s thick and dark,
and great, green eyes like no one knows;
and she can sing just like a lark.

She loves to read, and is well-read:
     she’s a genius, and knows a lot—
in truth, there’s so much in her head
to figure out than just let rot.

Glad to say she’s now a student
enrolled in classes at a college:—
how wonderful, how elegant,
that she attends a place of knowledge!

'Ere long, she’ll graduate with honors
     and "summa cum laude" distinction,
with a master’s conferred upon her
     to pursue disease intervention.

In all this time, I’ll support her;
and be the best friend that she needs:
I’ll be there to urge and exhort her,
to guide her from life's baleful "weeds."

Bad Santa, Bad Santa

Santa Claus took from the NON-for Profit
" people who wish to marry fund"
to support his gift giving campgain.
Santa who doesn't eat Venision
heard that the "rights of Modern Men"
were sponsoring a Four Meat supper
to raise money for the
" People who wish to marry fund"
he asked one question, " are they serving Venision?"
the fella said yeah, and taters and yams, and those
sweet, sweet taters. " Oh yeah said Santa,
them po' (Bleeps) gonna learn. "Bife for the We-if"
"not sear the deer". "Things their mothers have done, don't they
know better" " "They have a treasurer who drinks don't they"
"the fella said they sure do boss!" "they sure do!" Santa told him
that summa (beep) is gonna look foolish when
he finds the gift I'm leaving him"
then he got on his sleigh and flow away.
when he returned,(two days later)
he just smiled and said "Christmas is saved!"
and everyone went back to work cheering for Ole Santa!
When asked, "what did you leave the fella for Christmas?"
He told him, " I left the (beep) absolutely nothing"
"I farted in his face when I walked by him sleeping"

Premium Member The Dreamer

I wrote this 50 years ago, yup, been dipping the brain in ink for a few years now.

What do you do on a rainy day
'sides twiddle your thumbs to pass time away.
I have a suggestion, mere conjecture,
escape from it all, attend a lecture.
There you can doodle, take a few notes
- fill up your pad with ambiguous quotes
from Shakespeare and Bacon and Chaucer.
Study and cram and stay up all night,
let your brain fly unbelievable heights -
you know all the answers, let no one deny,
any question you're given you correctly reply.
Summa Cum-Laude then straight to the top,
your ambition, your knowledge, no one can stop
...and just when you think you've got the world won
you awake from your dream, late for class, off you run!

Graduation Of Two

It is a day to remember,
my son and grandson together,

Graduating with an A-plus,
so tell me what is all the fuss,

Cannot recall a dull moment,
from yearly gifts now bestowment,

Both of you summa cum laude,
G.P.A. four-point-oh lordy,

So come now, uncle and nephew,
we leased a hall for this venue,

Family and friends all gather,
Entertainment, food, gifts, matter,

Your dad and granddad are happy,
nana's countenance is pretty,

Interest, game technology,
twas both in your biology,

Twas in the cards with words on walls,
colleges with their protocols,

Tis best for both to get a house,
here are the keys as I espouse,

Since your parents bought your new cars,
I resolved to buy a just cause,

So here is a toast to you boys,
ere me young men, to books from toys,

Both part of our family tree,
today, a bit proudly it be.

Hymn Mi Row-Knumb

Reclaimation
Recyclation
Drilling into
stone to
manage water
waters to be
reclaimed
stored and
reused.
Then how might
I speak such when
My existence can
be questioned in
opposition to my
Claim.
Fro. Stranger to
Less strained.
Might the freindly
way of sacred
trust trickle upon
the stranger
Uncitifed to be
Country enough
to be Human!

The bassoons stopped when
the piccalos spoke of reclaimation
and desaltifcation
To let the cymbals speak to
trumpeted muses.
Oh clear!
Might my waters
Quinch my thirsty
Palate.
When they speak me
as existed, to make
Me evil and my
exhistance vain!

Sarah of Raleigh Durieum!
Summa Thyme
I want for you to say
Cause I wanna put mi
Light shades on !
