You be the cage I'll be your bird

You be the cage
I'll be ur bird
No matter how many times I fly the world

Ur door remains open for me to come home
It matters not how much I roam

A soothing place I can rest my beak
Ur my safe place when I feel weak

On the flip side
I'll share my adventures I'll be ur personal guide

You be the cage
I'll be ur bird

U sit still in perfect iron form
I'll fly in the sun rays to keep ur bars warm

Ur sturdiness is something to behold
I treasure you more than gold

I am greatful for ur protection
Baby there is no honorable mention

Take me at my word
You be the cage
I'll be ur bird

April 27 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 29-31

Key Verse – 2 Chronicles 29:2-2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done. He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY VESSEL REPAIRER

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your sanctifying purification
Thank You for cleansing my filthiness, trespasses and transgression
And my offerings of wrong motives’ devotion
As You receive my sin-admission and confession.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your covenant-fulfillment
Thank You for rebuking my negligence by Your judgment
And my disobedience toward Your commandment
As You propel my commitment.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your joyous presence
Thank You for checking my sacrifices’ lack of essence
And my heart’s need for upright service-iridescence
As You brighten my servanthood’s rejoicing effervescence.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your biblical standard
Thank You for reproving my feeling of insufficiency as Your steward
And my displeasure for being a coward
As You enclose my submission around Your compassion’s guard.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your lawful principle
Thank You for listening to my prayer that’s sincerely simple
And my struggle causing worrisome ripple temple
As You direct my worship to Your holy temple.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your perfection-finishing
Thank You for attending to my frustration’s languishing
And my discouragement against advancement-flourishing
As You watch over my consecration by Your gracious furnishing.

Lord God, You are my vessel Repairer… along Your blessed peacefulness
Thank You for increasing my faith needing steadfastness
And my trust that calls for sturdiness
As You discipline my slothfulness.

Weakened By Love

Into a wall you made me crash
My insides were turned to mash
I feel so weird and mushy
I am wobbly and gooshy
Like jello you make me shake
My control you had to break
With the softness of your hand
My knees buckle--I can't stand
You made me turn into
One big soft pile of goo
It feels like I have no bones
All my sturdiness is gone
Shuddering and really weak
I can't find the words to speak
I am tongue tied--out of sound
Any movements can't be found
But I am not one bit worried
Your strong arms reach out and carry
Me into a strong love grip
I never want to fall or slip
Out of it--I can not live
Without this feeling that you give

The “Bench” sits proudly among the trees,
perched high and overlooking the beauty of the water down below.
Exquisitely black, it seems to hypnotize,
beckoning you to stop for a spell.
Once captured, an involuntary trance arises;
you’re transposed to another dimension,
where your awareness becomes unblinking,
eyes fixated on the ripples in the water.
Heightened senses come alive
as a shiver runs up and down the curve of your back.
Your mouth gapes open as pieces of precious memories escape,
softly murmuring in soothing tones to the shadow
sitting beside you,
praying feverishly for signs of life from another dimension.

The “Bench”—
strong like a father,
its soft curves of the arms envelope you like a mother’s embrace—
a priceless reminder of a life so loved.
The strength and sturdiness of the bench evoke emotions,
a feeling of utmost comfort,
the head-heart linking,
dwelling in time-stretched blissful peace.
It envelopes you, safe within a cocoon,
untouchable.
The energy rises within, and a soft moan escapes.
The yearning is so real as you reach out your hand,
lean over for a warm embrace.

There is no mystery—
the space beside you is held for an Angel.
The leaves are gently falling and rustling,
blowing in the wind like unspoken words of love
carried into the waves,
like a message in a bottle.

Always in my heart, a shining light,
an innate vibrance, an everlasting energy.

The Night So Still

In a drunken state I lay here in bed with my notebook and a piece of pen,
no one in my house not even family nor a rat in the den,
creating another craft from pen and ink to seek the justice that my artistic sense needs,
for my art is dependent on sorrow for there like a vulture it feeds,

My memories have become a rotten corpse being eaten slowly by my art,
cursed for my past and sorrow can never be apart,
with the winds howling outside the window,
I could hear the silence of a lonely widow,

Waiting for the man that's never going to come back ,
probably having his corpse being dragged inside a sack,
hope has found one of it's victims again,
sucking life out of once gleeful women,

Like the widow I lost a majestic bird once,
remembering her radiant face with just a glance,
at a withering sunflower above my shelf,
remembering her lying down at the concrete turning cold alone by herself,

Time is cruel when it is needed,
and my heart's sturdiness has already been tested,
the trials of losing a loved one are harsh,
to the point that I'm still stuck in this pitiful sorrowful marsh,

Nothing can ease this pain of mine but father Time himself,
petals begin to fall on top of my shelf,
one by one they fell,
with no soul inside to go to either heaven or hell,

My sweet withering sunflower why have you abandoned me?
I never thought leaving you for work had a fee!
Slowly, slowly, you are fading away,
And still Time will never stop and tomorrow will still be a new day.

Premium Member Love Bungled

On the edge of a tear her world is bungled
so is her love life yet she feels alive

She doesn’t recognize what she’s feeling
Sadness deep in her throbbing heart

She senses her aloneness her loneliness
Surprisingly good in some strange way

There’s a certain sturdiness about it
Or maybe that’s only her cynical core

Being proven right again
Makes her almost chuckle

She feels to the depths of her heart
A tenderness of no parallel

She’s somehow happy to realize
her heart not totally turned to stone

She’s actually let someone in so deep
She can be touched even stirred

Did she ever tell you
She doesn’t really believe in love

It’s for the chosen few
For others, not everyone, not her

Amidst the bright light and the sumptuous summer sunshine,
Why does the beam gleam of the thin rays of darkness enwrap?
The sturdiness of our bones fails, as though we've lost our spine.
Our inner sanctum is erased from our location map.

Blood clotted, mouths unable to utter secrets, we pine
With hopes and hopelessness, like eggs in a single basket,
Fate and destiny, playing their roles as per their design
We store our unfulfilled desires like gems in a casket.

Tracing the trails of the 'if you can't beat them, join them' route
Like challengers and the challenged, we tread on trodden roads.
Have the bubble, we've been blowing, a permanent pursuit?
Pessimism, through each lane, like an atomic bomb, explodes.

The closed doors of impending expectant dooms be disclosed.
Feelings of friendliness even to the foes be enclosed.
