Old man leaning on a wooden cane
Stumbling down the sidewalk in the pouring rain
People laughing and wondering too
If He might be insane

- [ ] He looks back at them
And sings a happy song
About how soon he be leaving
And it won’t be too long

Death comes to all
Even those who cannot wait
On their bed or in a brawl
Be you crooked or be you straight

He went on down the alley way
The sky turned dark and starless
He turned around and waved goodbye
And disappeared in darkness

Death comes to all
Even those who cannot wait
On their bed or in a brawl
Be you crooked or be you straight

Secrets

I want to hold you so badly,
Images of you fill my dreams.
You're not there when i wake,
Only a pillow to stifle my screams.

I see you so vividly, as if you're here,
A vision of liquid green emeralds, instead of eyes.
Blond, wavy hair, with a mind of it's own,
When i think of that smile, a piece of my heart dies.

If i could stay asleep longer i would,
It seems as if it's the only time I'm at peace.
Awake my mind races, and i can't think straight,
Asleep is the only time my pain appears to cease.

Heart, heavy with memories of our laughter,
They keep flooding my soul, and i'm drowning.
How do i get over your abandonment, and betrayal?
There is no more happiness, only me frowning.

A sadness, so intense, there is no escape,
I'm failing miserably, trying to be brave.
Tears slide down my face in a great magnitude,
As i lay these flowers on your grave...

Stay On the Path.

Many a day we stray
Stray from the straight and narrow
The golden path, the Way
So blinded we are by the
neon lights of evil and vice
that draw us closer day by day
Enmeshing us in the horror and coil
of the great world's turmoil.

 Groping and stumbling
life is hard we say but
Free choice we wanted
Free choice we got
Look what we’ve done
With this power bestowed

Then one bright day
A song, a word, an angel perhaps
Open our eyes and what do we see
A blinding flash, His true light
 Glorious prisms, colorful and bright
Warm and loving, oh what a sight

Thick scales drop from our eyes
No longer lost, we find the Way
Smooth and even, a ride on the clouds
Thanks and praise we sing and shout
as we savor and cling to His abundant love.

Naked Aggression met Unbridled Greed
   on an uncharted forest path
Warily they circled each other, eyes
laser-focused, each on the other's hands...

Up the road a ways trudged Steely Determination
weak and weary from a bout with the flu
Some distance behind him, he heard shouts ring out
felt a pin-prick of fear but pressed on...

Naked Aggression made his move for a thicket
Unbridled Greed pursuing, hot on his heels
Yet just when it seemed Determination was doomed
he ducked into a hard-to-see clearing

Well, Aggression never let up and ran right past him
straight into a solid brick wall -- Splat!
And all that was left of once-mighty Aggression
was a bloody dismembered blue cap...

Determination breathed a deep sigh
fell to one knee and gave thanks
Then he got up and chuckled and said
Thank God this was a fraternity prank

Not a Cloud In Sight

Some nights it would rain.
And in the comfort of solace I'd get up.
Grab my shoes, my coat and head straight to where
I felt most comfrtable.
Though this place near.
Not too many knew about it.
I'd go straight to her heart and comfort her during the storm.
It was something different about it.
Her heart.
Meeting her near and dear.
To bring her comfort put me at ease.
It's not that she needed or required company.
But deep down I felt at peace.
Watching the sky ignite every so often.
Igniting our hidden passion.
Our eyes the closest thing to a telescope.
We reminded each other how we should feel.
Our turns smiling and laughing.
Often times I'd forget the rain completely.
Becoming drenched in the patter of her heart.
In the end all we'd know was silence.
Coming to terms in our own agreeance.
The further apart she wanted to be, the closer we actually became.
Even now she kisses me in silence.
Not a cloud in sight.

Addictions

Sleepless as the monsters that haunt me so…
Save me, I’m failing greatly and let the wicked wind blow
Fair enough as it is, I let you savor the moment
Demented lickers of fire desires…conjuring the times of lament
Behave, Dave…
Save…save…save…
My dreams of being a singer
My dreams of being a model
My dreams, my visions, breaking by the seams, my missions
Struggling to meet my beginning
The addictions of **** is winning
Okay, I admit it…I love watching the scenes of insanity
I feel rather shitty…holding my breath under water
Drown me the will to fly without the wings of flight
Tonight is the night…the will to fight with my undying might
Was all a lie from the start?
Discard me…Xo Xo Xo…was my lovely art
Mountains and valleys come together to mack
I was addicted to your drugs…holding my nut sack
Mountains to mountains
Valleys to valleys
Childhood was messed up…
Don’t cry over me…don’t cry over me…
I thought I was gay…I learned to hate me…
But, I’m straight…I love me…I love me…
Infections and addictions lick thee…
My plea is please…God…I love yoooo…
But I looked up **** just out of the bloooo
Tuff times…the clicking of dimes…
I collapse into 2 oceans of commotions and emotions
Kiss me the weirdness…
Kiss me the abstract abyss…
I’m tired and sick of losing tuch of yoo, God…
Touch me, your love should touch me…
My heart is weak
My soul is bleak
Hearing Speeeeeeeds of sounds…. Pulling Weeeeeeds from delightless grounds….
Subside from my side
Subside from my side
Devils and angels of thousands marry me merrily
Battlin’ these freedoms of speech…
Your Love Is What I Beseech…
But, I’m breaking apart by the second
Don’t backstab me…be with me…flee with me…you and I are one tree

Life out in the country has its own charm.
We have rifles and dogs out here on the farm.
Normal rules won’t apply if you choose to strike fear.
They won’t find your body, let’s just be clear.

We will see you coming from ten miles away.
Bring your violence out here and this is where you will stay.
We have plenty of ground on which we can dig.
We won’t call the cops and you won’t see a brig.

In the city with luck, you’ll just go to jail.
Out her you’ll be slop and end up in a pail.
We’ll feed you to the pigs or put you straight in the ground.
Either way my dear friend, you just won’t be around.

Out here I’m protected by God and my gun.
You know who we are and you know we won’t run.
We’ll sit up in a tree all day for one shot.
Even in the winter, you’ll wind up where it’s hot.

Phase Two

7/6/17

Now it's time for phase two

So much beauty, it's amazing the way it grew
Nearby evenly placed bamboo

Clouds of rain drew
Meanwhile a plane flew
Straight through
At Eight past Two

While I had on a pair of grey shoes
I kept on hearing crud, and the same news

Hey you
What I have to say is true
I apologize if this is yet another thing you can't relate to
And if it doesn't amaze you
I'm still thankful to see yet another day, phew!

Don't stay blue
Do your best to make do
Regardless of if you got to take two

Does it do any good always having the same view?
Or constantly playing on some kind of gamecube?

It just may be new
Or an aged clue

Premium Member The Sleepwalking Sensation

George walked by us neighbors one night.
Our husbands were shocked at the sight,
    for this uncouth dude
    was lewd, crude, and nude.
We wives tried to hide our delight.

The angry men yelled, “Hey, you freak!"
Oblivious, George didn't speak.
    He stared straight ahead
    then went home to bed.
He'd stroll again, bare, the next week.

The problem, recalls Dr. Dover,
was BAD but, soon afterwards, over.
   Doc watched George and found
   him walking around
asleep, so some pills cured this rover.

The neighborhood men are quite glad
no naked man’s making them mad.
    While breathing a sigh,
    relieved, they ask why
we wives have just lately seemed sad.

FUNNY CORNER

THE CANDY-DATE KID-NAP

Young chap, Baby on knee.
hardly old enough to vote. Settle to nap,
Just out of mother's lap, and form dreaming.
knowledge of government still remote. Blasted! Jet fly, he up.

Must take the plunge sometime, though, Maybe now he
now is as good a time as any startle poo' chap.
to walk the straight and narrow, Cause warm feeling.
stand on one's own and be free. Bastard! Wet on my lap!

Here we go:
(moment's hesitation)
right before left.
Got it, good show!
