A Thousand Years of Strife
When I heard they had their freedom
I came straight from Hell to Earth
When I heard they wanted prizes
I brought magic purse and worth
When they said I had to lead them
I brought all my men from birth
And I ruled them well to tell them all
I can't compare for girth
When they said we needed war
I said I'd be happy to
When they said there'd be some consequence
to which I said not you
And they asked me for perversion
and I said I knew the kind
As they walked with me together
saying your more than we find
And we talked about our future
and the lives we'll live together
And the fun we'll all remember
when the end comes to remember
And they sent their bombs a flyin'
to the Ukraine I surrendered
Till the day came I convinced them
that the News would serve to ember
And they watched the missiles flying
on the tv I would render
For a definition higher
than the Ukraine could surrender
And we cried for all the bodies
that you asked me to dare end there
As we asked why all were dying
for myself and your dear bender
For we all have price to pay
when I came to save your world
From the ignorance of God
and the hope you're not his hurled
So stay by me people Earth
for the visit of your life
Till the savior comes to free me
from a thousand years of strife
