Just had my tea
Turned off the Christmas Tree
It is sad to see it go
Back to storage I know
But there is a three-day weekend break
And two Championship meetings at stake
American National Conferences will pick their reps
For the Big Game in Miami and we will answer with all our bets
Opinions will start
While NFL merchandise will be added to the Internet cart
Will it be close, will be a blow out?
When some will ask what is all this about?
Chiefs, Titans Packers and Niners are the final four
With two on Sunday being shown the door.
But will the Christmas spirit still be here
As we sip the unwrap Christmas Day Cheer
Or will the next holiday be a day off
Where we nurse a wintry cough?
It is for a man named King
And we should still sing
The message of peace
And war and hate to cease
With two more games on the table
While relaxed think about the disabled
As each injury time out is taking
A message should be in the making
The players are only hurt
With no need to dig up the cemetery dirt.
We are now in winter when its dark
And we really need to spark
That peaceful communication is important
And should be exported.
League sports do work
Especially if it soothes someone ready to blow their cork
Let the cities compete with fans celebrating in the street
It is a sporting spectacle that we need
To keep that Christmas spirit going indeed
If you give points or receive them on Championship Decision Day
Keep in mind the creative angle will pay
Since even the losing wager will stimulate emotion
That is healthier than that colorful cocktail potion
In closing our Sunday ritual will come to an end
And the word draft will be spoken without any worry’s civilians will have to mend
One should keep a stiff upper lip
Knowing peaceful warfare on an athletic field should be hip.
The tightening grip of the pandemic
Stifled the livelihood of many
With the daily wagers losing jobs
Mere survival was at stake.
A benevolent NGO opened an outlet
In our locality to provide daily
Food and provisions free
To the needy and the destitute.
Every morning scores of people
Stood in long tortuous line
Under the scorching summer sun
Until the shelves were empty.
In one such morning as usual
The line was moving slow
When someone proclaimed
Lockdown would start from midnight.
People broke the orderly line
Rushed in panic toward the food bank
Soon its shutters were pulled down
So pandemonium didn’t turn to scuffle.

So many fill the world today it’s hard to know where to start
Assisting so many in losing their way by slowly infecting their heart
Day in and day out bombarded from every side
But with me they carry no clout for it is in the Lord that I abide
They woo you softly then suddenly pull you in
They say “you are free and it’s not really a sin”
Oh and the hospitality they find as you ingratiate their stay
But try to keep this in mind that there is only one Way
And as the illusions begin to bicker as to who really took your soul
That light in you begins to flicker as you pay the ultimate toll
No longer shall they exist, no longer will illusion be
Yet He who was right in your midst you will never get to see
Has illusion beaten you for you shall be held liable
Seek what is true written right there in the Bible
As illusion shuts the door in my face so quickly as to keep you at bay
I pray only that the Lord’s Grace will come upon you and your way
My Heart is just an organ no memory does it have
The blood it pumps through my viens, is an unhealing salve
I often wonder, what is LOVE; a strange concept to me
Will I ever know of LOVE, as Soupers feel and see
One day I thought, I had found LOVE; but soon that LOVE was gone
Forgotten was the moment, when I thought LOVE broke my Heart
I don't know why I cried, from colourful Sunset 'til early morning Dawn
I can not remember how this LOVE even got its start
It never did return to me, a feeling of LOVE for Eternity
As time went by, as I grew old, of LOVE I had no Memory
Late at night, a nightmare comes, a nightmare named Lenore
The only words this spectre Whispers is,"Now and Evermore"

The stag was astounded by fox’s nerve.
Not realizing this was no ordinary fox.
You are going to the city? Why? Stag asked.
To peer in and peer out, to unify my flocks.
This is when Stag realized why fox was called Cosmos.
He was not thinking like this world, he was an elemental beast.
A shockingly wise reminder of fables, myths, and legends.
Stag asked for permission. Can I stand here and watch at least?
Sure said Cosmos. You can be my sentry, my look out, my friend.
I have become soft in the safety of heaven. So your eyes please lend.
I might need your help down there in that labyrinth of complex.
Stand on the hill and send prayers. I will start at that duplex.
So Stag stood guard on the hill that night, overlooking the city.
The lights of the heathens began to twinkle shut and down.
The atmosphere felt warmer on the hill, a feeling that was pretty.
Fox gave them his dreams and hopes, spread them all around.
How did it go? Stag asked upon Fox’s wily return to the hill.
They are sleeping on my suggestions, Cosmos said, being humble.
Will they sleep for a long time? Stag asked, in awe still.
Not too long, Cosmos said, and some of them may stumble.
But I came to give them the best suggestions, the ones they can use.
I gave them ideas to ponder and swirl around in the dreams.
It is up to them now to utilize what they know, understood by their muse.
Then Cosmos went back into the atmosphere on moonbeams.
A Love Letter Of Apology
Dear Ádè, I know I've done you wrong,
I'm sorry for the hurt I've brought along,
Please forgive me, my heart's in pain,
My head's a mess, I know I'm to blame.
I never meant to make you cry,
I hope you know, it's not goodbye,
I want to hold you, in my arms,
And tell you how I feel, with all my charms.
I'm sorry for the words I said,
I'm sorry for the tears you've shed,
I want to make it right again,
To fix what's broken, mend the pain.
I want to start anew, and show,
That my love for you will forever grow,
Please forgive me, my heart's sincere,
I want to make things clear and clear.
I love you, and that's all I know,
I want to make our love aglow.

Wing footed winter’s dance is of grey skies,
bare branch silhouettes in silver gowns
dormant magic within icy poses
brilliant halls bedecked with frosted flowers.
Into the Grand Ballrooms of springtime
a sweep of pastel ball gowns - all awhirl
Fresh pirouettes that gleam with sparkling dew
To bring alive the dreaming garden songs.
Until the partners change at summer’s start
Now gowns sway green- as green as willow boughs
And all the maiden’s heads are strewn with flowers
While love renewed replaces all past cares
Then as the leaves turn slowly - red to brown
All regal shades of velvet now adorn
The dancers bow - the way of beauty flown
Their hearts have pledged a promise to return.

Why do you always scream and yell
Putting everyone through hell
That crosses your path of shame
Always taking on the blame
That you dish out when you feel
Life is getting way to real
And you can't cope with painful days
So you find extreme bad ways
To release the built up pressure
But it doesn't make it lesser
Your just causing hurt and anguish
Which won't disappear or vanquish
Until help is being sought
With these tensions being fought
That are building more and more
Take a breath, stop, and be sure
To calm down and be relaxed
Don't let feelings attack
And take over way too long
Find a peaceful inner song
That will bring you to a place
Of happiness that will grace
Your days with joy. love, and cheer
Instead of all the bad despair
That others have always seen
Now you can start fresh and clean
Showing a new side of you
That will spread a lifetime through
Funny how some come to this land
smiling-humble and wide-eyed
attracted by the lady with the gentle flame in her hand.
Then while they build their fine homes
on a pricey piece of land.
They start listening to the dregs.
Blue cymbals start banging inside their heads.
They begin to dig a mind hole
Another spade of "woe is me" fills with dirt
Deeper into the mind hole they go.
Into the darkness of perceived oppression.
The wide eyes narrowing.
Not a hint of humility to be found.
Another spade slices deeper
stripes of anger and hate
replace that once smiling face.
They bark loudly about oppression from the pulpit of their fine homes
their vanity license plates and advanced degree
Mostly paid for by the working American man.
They cry about how everything is stacked against them.
There's a constant riot in their heads.
The mind hole deepens and widens.
A place where sunlight has no chance.
The real tragedy of it all
is that they hand the ungrateful spade over to their offspring.
YOU BROKE
HEART
AND YOU'RE
GONNA FIX-IT
WHAT THEY HELL
THEY TAUGHT YOU
YOU THINK YOU
SUM-KINDA
SPECAIL ONE
I EXPECTED BETTER
I LOOKED FOR
SO MUCH MORE
THOUGHT ONE WAY
IN THE BEGENNING
IT WAS DIFFERENT
IN THE START
YOU OUT TO
HURT PEOPLE
YOU OUT HERE
WITH THE INTENT
EVERYTHING YOU DO
IS AIMED AT BREAK-IN
MY HEART
IDOL MINDS ARE DEVILS
WORKSHOPS
FIND A WAY TO LOVE ME
IF IT'S NOT BEYOND YOUR
COMPROHENTION
WHAT'S YOUR INTENTION
YOU TRY'NA BREAK M HEART
SHOULD HAVE KNOWN
IT FROM THE START
NOTHING FEELS BETTER
THAN THIS
WHEN IT'S RIGHT
IT'S RIGHT
THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT
BUT YOU GOT ME
YOU GOT ME
YOU BROKE MY HEART
