Shadows darken the way
Hecate, a guide, has presided over my dreams.
Moneca, it’s vital essence, but a stagnate stream.
Love upon tattered wings - nowhere to fly,
upon the Glacier “ Indifference “ – disintegrating – doth die
a little, with the negative, critical, judgmental – put down
never ceases, never ends, just keeps going round and round.
In sight, there seems to be no end
from the one loved - am a friend!
Horizon looms ahead
Helios, the fire, the light, the passion.
One foot on the edge, darkness a destination
from which Love’s journey never returns.
The soul, spirit, the heart continues – Beauty burns
what life they give, throwing them into hell fires
trying to kill the essence of what this heart desires

Feeling displaced, misplaced, and suffocating
Running low on oxygen hyperventilating.
Debilitating trying to keep pace running the same simple human rat race
1st place
But no golden medal is won well, not that I anticipate
No, not for simply existing through change under a bright fireball we call sun in exchange for human life, and so a new legacy is born and past well preserved yet still
Alone even amongst the billions of earth civilians
Isolated. Self-love and esteem deflated
Rushing to keep up in this long-distance jog we call life , living , allowing the universe to do as it wills with us until we die
You know, the little sparks that keep the sun ignited that's us, until our bright falls dark and even still some are
trying to keep some part of hope alive with breath inside of a skin spirits grave site. That moves, isn’t stagnate, and still 6 feet under humanity's crushing needs to feel accepted when I hardly even started to accept me
society and old thinking will be the death of the old me
A new me has taken the seat
I've crowned myself the abiding solider, still a mere human being with fresh thoughts, open space to stretch, inhale exhale
Patient with each breath No longer Rushing or making plans which have already been set
I am righteous, lovingly worthy of more than past versions of me who were less than deserving
So, changing those ideas of who I am and what I deserve will allow me to breathe with ease. No more gasping for air with an oxygen mask. I've made the decision to change how I view myself today in the light of something greater than my vision will ever display or thoughts can accordingly convey

Like sand in an hour glass
Time moves so fast
A precious commodity
Not meant to last
Measured in hours
Minutes unfold
Time waits for no man
So I’ve been told
Facing my demons
Refusing to stagnate or rust
Releasing my fate to all that I trust
I observe my negativity
turn into dust
Kookaburras laugh and the Magpies flute
along to the strings of an imaginary lute
In wild abandon my Spirit I bare
the untamed wind blows my hair
My bright yellow dress matches the Sun
A New Phase has now begun
Footnote
There is a time for hellos and time for goodbyes and I feel this is my time now to do just that.
To all my poetic friends who have supported me on my poetic journey, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep writing your wonderful words, you have been an inspiration. I have made many good friendships here, ones that I will always value and appreciate.
Let me take this opportunity to wish all my fellow poets on PS
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BRIGHT AND WONDERFUL 2019

Why does it seem
that we’re so good at extremes,
one side then next,
it swings and it all gets wrecked.
Order is great,
but too much and we stagnate,
chaos is bad,
but without it we can’t laugh.
It’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad
…sometimes.
It’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square
…sometimes.
A jock and a nerd,
ignored and then heard,
I’ll rule and I’ll serve
…sometimes.
A bit of all things,
The balance it brings
is liberating
…most times.
It’s always seemed,
or at least it did to me,
blending it all
is what will put off our fall.
It’s a tightrope,
fall off and you’re laid low,
but you must try,
to be one thing is a lie.
It’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad
…sometimes.
It’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square
…sometimes.
A jock and a nerd,
ignored and then heard,
I’ll rule and I’ll serve
…sometimes.
A bit of all things,
the balance it brings
is liberating
…most times.
But the hard part,
achieving this is an art,
how much each way
is something few can say.
The balance to set,
nobody has mastered it yet,
some less, some more,
at the least we won’t be bored!
It’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad,
it’s fun to go mad
…sometimes.
It’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square,
it’s cool to be square
…sometimes.
A jock and a nerd,
ignored and then heard,
I’ll rule and I’ll serve
…sometimes.
A bit of all things,
the balance it brings
is liberating
…most times.
The Pundits
By Franklin Price
3/10/2016
The pundits that I see and hear
Can't seem to clear the hump
To reason why Republicans
Are being led by Donald Trump
It seems so very clear to me
Can see the writing on the wall
It's time that the establishment
Took their long awaited fall
For years and years have promised change
Yet will not take a stand
All they think is re-election
How free money is so grand
Block all that's for the people
'Cause they're not in command
No one can be right but them
They do nothing for the land
All we do is stagnate
At best we run in place
Must kick out the do-nothings
Not have to look at either face
So pundits just admit it
As to why the Trump is here
The way the vote is going
Should make that very clear
When the establishment recognizes
That the people have a voice
And put up someone else who cares
To give us another choice
Maybe then the wave will break
And rumble to the shore
Believe that will not happen soon
Tried that several times before
‘Eat when hungry, sleep when sleepy’, adage,
simple enough, for a child innocent.
Why then with insomnia, war we wage?
Methinks, due to bubbling thoughts resident,
we stagnate, mired in ego sediment.
As both the prisoner and tormentor,
spectator, as well as the conjurer,
freedom lies by living in the present,
moment to moment, as meditator,
ever present in inner sound current!
At the core, what matters is our response
to manifestations, as they unfold.
We look at each life offering askance,
whilst the child within, is trusting and bold,
both waking and sleeping, in joy beholds!
When boundaries cognised begin to blur,
we partake of life in playful caper,
vibrant in unending celebration!
In thought rested stillness, bliss alone stirs,
as we slide into sleep meditation!

I write like bakers bake
my rhymes make earth shake
Going into contest with me was your biggest mistake
I control the earths plates, tectonics, your rhymes are bollocks
I cause land slides and earthquakes
I don't hate but I do devastate,
Is the rhythm of your rhyme hidden?
I'm going back and forth with my decision
I'd like to think it's something I'm missin'
but I cant see it in what you've written,
You stagnate rhymes
I contemplate the punishment for these crimes,
don't harp that you'll defeat me
I'm a giant you can't even see me
Now back and forth like red and meth I hand you over to little missy,
you pissed us both off so we share a rhyme to make you look silly..........
Your rhymes don't even matter
my pockets is gettin' fatter
Yours getting flatter
When you heard the glass shatter
That means me and my homies gathered
Now you bout to feel the wrath of
Somethin' that you wished you hadn't of
And all I can say is back up because I'm bout to act up
It might not concern you but
I'll thermonuclear burn you, you're a human sacrifice
Cuz I be smashing mics with the Passion of Christ and
Stay fully loaded, equipped with action devices
Me n trim shady here to party like Tom Brady
We stay cooler than an Eskimo baby
V is for Victory, we mastered your trickery
Tryna clock like dickory, get smoked like hickory
So please stop the bickery, you can't get rid of me
Fire colabs from here to infinity
you heard her infinity
even with a radar and map you cant find our reality
we're in another galaxy
you've barely the ability of a fetus
how dare you compete with us
and this U S U K special relationship isn't putting you at a handicap
it's natures act, you can't rhyme or rap
put your dick between your legs and make a tail
walk away with your head down cus your insults fail,
the only insult that landed is that you went up against us
with terrible stale dribble
that you squiggle
all brainless and minimal
like an unevolved mammal
writing without the opposable thumb by miracle
sounding dumb and undesirable,
when I read it I became miserable,
I desire a quick fire high flyer
like me with quick wit that aspires but you were dire
and dim, you aint no Trim,
you're a fool who should return to school.

You want to go out on your own for a beer
Catch up with a friend you’ve not seen for a year
Hear all the news about who’s doing what
How much they earn, and the things they have got
But your wife says now honey, stay home with me?
So you sit and stagnate as you watch the TV
The big games tomorrow you’ve tickets for two
You ask her to go, but there’s so much to do
The fence it needs painting, there’s stuff to repair
The car and the mower the tread on the stair
When the chores are all done and you’ve time that is free
You sit down, and you watch, the big game, on TV
Its spring time its warm and how the sap rises
Your looking for love but there’ll be few surprises
She knows what you mean when you say time for bed
And will promptly announce she’s got pains in the head
So you fix up a sandwich, a nice cup of tea
Then sit there and fester and watch the TV
Let’s go to the lake we can hire a canoe
“I’m sorry I can’t I’ve got ironing to do”
We can take a nice picnic and go to the coast
“There’s no time for that, not with chicken to roast
So go off and do what you do when your free
Just leave me alone, go and watch the TV

equating dreams
as thought forms
by heart conjured
we pause the cause
of such movement
getting to the roots
body identification
also termed as ego
negating nothing
we examine desire
that so manifests
deluded cravings
again and again
needing fulfilment
in this life or the next
until thirst is quelled
surreptitious ego
offers specious logic
that we may accept
validity of illusions
of unawakened soul
and thereby stagnate
in our thought spirals
dreams within dreams
our soul is hypnotised
by illusions self-created
and so we live in trance
unaware of our true Self
resident in toroidal heart
being eternal living light
the very essence of God
albeit veiled from sight
Plato’s allegory of cave
defines our predicament
we acknowledge not light
nor align with sublime love
refusing to enter silence
preferring to be a captive
of our conditioned belief
a tragicomic tale indeed
