If Only

If only it didn't just take a second to get to heaven
The devil's smiling, bet he didn't tell you it's the fast track to hell
My smile's only temporary, but so is this life sentence I've been given
I never was asked if I wanted to start living.

So I'm..
Hanging by a thread
My sanity is laughing at me
In the mirror, staring at the person
Who seems to be wandering
Empty and lost, like a penny on tails
Unlucky and left behind, story of a person
Such as mine.

My confusion is confused
Piece of mind tattered and loose
The love song from my heart, sings to the wind
Carrying on, I think it's never to end
Because it winds like the river
Occasionally winks and sparkles
Off a sunset reflection, searching for a tomorrow
But sometimes deep blue
Sad, like the pulsing veins
Of a heartbroken poet
Insane in the brain.

If only you could see me, then maybe.
If only you could save me, yeah then maybe.

Then maybe
Tears wouldn't run down the face and
Hurry away from the pain in the eyes
Of a person with nightmares
And teardrop filled skies.

A person who dreams of a better tomorrow
But memories are the chains
Bearing back her heart
And holding the jagged pieces together
From falling apart.

I'm lonely
Do you see my face?
I'm trying
To get a grip nowadays
Yeah you could help me
Get me out of this place
If only, yeah if only.

Hoping one day another
Will hear her song through the breeze
And linger back to the place
Where she kneels hopelessly
Desired to be glued together
Band aid, or tacked
She just wants to become whole again
And never look back.
Wants to trampled by love
Stampeded to the beat
Of love and loyalty
Someone she can keep.

Her broken smile will reign
And she'll rip stanzas from her soul
Trickling toxic tragedies
Painting pictures in your eyes
Watch her sorrows like a movie
On replay in your mind.

Her theatre is her torture chamber
Lashing you down to your raw memories
Don't look around, don't hide
Don't let your mistakes trouble your mind
Your blood is flowing
And you've still got time
To change the future
Is to change your mind

Maybe, then maybe.
You could save me
After you save yourself
Then you could help me
I've got nobody else, if only.

Yeah
If only.

Whispers Through the Grave

The stars are out
You walk to the grave
Visiting that person
You thought you’d never see again

As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before

As you listen to the voices
You have one question
On your mind
What am I here for
What happens when I die

Waiting for the answer
Your mind is reflecting
On everything you’ve done
And you tell yourself
How great you’ve become

As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before

You tell the voices
All the good you’ve done
And how you know they’re wrong
But they scream again

Don’t you know how wrong you are
You may think you’re wise
But this path is taking you to your demise
You only live for yourself
And your selfish ambition

You better start caring for the ones in need
And stop living in your greed
You better change who you are
Before heaven is just too far

As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before

As you reach your best friends grave
And tears are falling down your face
He whispers to you through the grave
Saying brother life is too short for hate
Please show love and change your fate

Move Ya Body

I hit the dance floor looking for a chick that knows how to dance though.
Can shake it to the Lil Jon gone off a lil don but still can dance slow.
Move her hips to the beat, lips real sweet, watching them low rise thighs
hypnotize’n C.
Dip’n it low to the floor entice’n me.
Cutie wit the bootie, a knock out like Tyson hit me.
We dance’n till the song change, I saw the draws on this tall dame, chameleon thong
and her bra change.
She whispered in my ear, listen real clear I came wit my girls I’m tryin to get
outta here.
I said that’s cool and I here you loud and clear, you real foxy brown like Ms. Pam
Grier.
She said that she’ll top me down, let me dock my boat in her pier.
She moves her body well; Man, me and the mourning gotta to see her.
Victim of her love spell, telling me Vicky’s secret that she holds so dear.
She got me hype like right boo let’s leave the club.
She like alright might have to show you was up.
I told her I aint a man of words but I’m bout a lot of action.
Told me to be a man of my word and she hopes that I’m packin
I showed her my size 14, and she said whus crackin
She grabbed my package, jumped back and said lets make it happen

Cel-Shaded Gold

I forgot how to write
My God it's not sounding right
The way I'd shape my face by phrase on a page
The shades I'd make cry, pray, and praise your name

Out of the blue you chalked me on cue
To change the hue of my attitude
You say "I'll pull it right out of you
And carry this, your arrogance
An arrow in
My vow to you"

So what do I do when I've lost my voice
And need a ploy just to prove my choice
When it's true that

That I'm the biggest fool on the planet but
But I'd be a tool to wanna change it 'cause
'Cause I'm a lion in a strange land
I'm untamed maybe I'm deranged and
I can't say I'm a safe man

I don't sell my soul, although you know I'd
I'd go render my last cel-shaded gold
Through a bold
But hidden code
Where love and hate they'll mold fixated in a humble abode

You see I'm not perfect
And for sure you've heard it
Oh it's true that

That I'm the biggest fool on the planet but
But I'd be a tool to wanna change it 'cause
'Cause I'm a lion in a strange land
I'm untamed maybe I'm deranged and
I can't say I'm a sane man

No I can't say I'm a safe man
So I can't say I'm a sane man
No I can't say I'm a sane man
So I can't say I'm a safe man

Essence

One thing I have achieved is I have lived my life today, as I have yesterday and will tomorrow, I
have cut and used my shares to create my path I chosen that flows into the future, my path is
well cleared of weeds and other clutter, so when I wake in the morning it shall be as it was
yesterday.

For me change causes conflict through my inner core, as it challenges my very soul of right to
be, and works on my disempowering my growth with in my right to live, some times I find the
voice of my soul as it sings a song of sorrow and my mind speaks a voice of normalised and a
well rehearsed way of being me.

Singing its song of empowerment , create and cut a new path with my tools, change can be a
subtle as a song from your essence of being, By me clearing the way .creates a purpose which
gives hope to faith.

With my shears I cut a new melody for the rhythm of life, so my day is not tomorrow or
yesterday, I have created believe in my song and will be and go wherever the song sings, as I
write the words that design my song

The Lyrics

As the lyrics play in my ear i began to focus on lifes greatest things with the past catching up
to me i realize no ones there to catch my fall
As the lyrics play i realize that if i dont change my ways im headed for a cell with no escape
As time will tell if i dont change my ways the song will end up being reality for me
as the lyrics play i begin to cry and thank God he gave me a second chance to over come
the addicion of sin.
Before i end up in a box made of tin so as the lyrics play i realize the only way out of the
hood is to stay focused and it will lead me in the right way.
so as akons song tired of running plays in my ear i thank god im here
