Whispers Through the Grave
The stars are out
You walk to the grave
Visiting that person
You thought you’d never see again
As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before
As you listen to the voices
You have one question
On your mind
What am I here for
What happens when I die
Waiting for the answer
Your mind is reflecting
On everything you’ve done
And you tell yourself
How great you’ve become
As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before
You tell the voices
All the good you’ve done
And how you know they’re wrong
But they scream again
Don’t you know how wrong you are
You may think you’re wise
But this path is taking you to your demise
You only live for yourself
And your selfish ambition
You better start caring for the ones in need
And stop living in your greed
You better change who you are
Before heaven is just too far
As you walk through the valley
You hear the screaming
That comes from the inside out
They scream to you
Don’t live like you have before
As you reach your best friends grave
And tears are falling down your face
He whispers to you through the grave
Saying brother life is too short for hate
Please show love and change your fate
