She was standing on the station waiting for the express train
It would be her last journey, wouldn’t see her folks again
Her head it was swimming with dark and angry thoughts
Of her husband’s betrayal and all the pain he’d brought
The signals indicated the express train would come
She jumped off the platform, her time on earth was done
Her family were torn apart and couldn’t understand why
This loving wife and mother was so desperate to die
This tale is oh so tragic, people thought their marriage was fine
But her journey with her husband had reached the end of the line

Space flickers, revealing white light
If we pause to blink, we’ll miss it
God’s blessings, bestowing clear sight
Signals we are at the summit
When void-centric becomes our view
Space flickers, revealing white light
Within form, as bliss throbs renew
Rapturous is our heart’s delight
Suffused with joy, by day and night
Unending’s our meditation
Space flickers, revealing white light
The source of all of creation
In heart resounds, soundless thunder
The truth of oneness, now shines bright
We behold in childlike wonder
Space flickers, revealing white light

The second hand smoke
Of a relentless pursuit of peace.
Projects the burned out forest
Of my soul. My tired trembling hands
That I return to my pockets
Because of the blood stains under my
Finger nails. Never finding anything remotely
Close to home, I am a careless visitor in my own skin.Black sheep, the shame swept under the rug.the claustrophobic cataclysm that nobody talks about. The dirty secret hidden in a box lock away
In shadows.Shame I have always carried to the name that never was mine to begin with.
Systematically hell bent on finding something worth what fight I have left. This battered broken glass heart of mine, the glue oozing
From the cracks is the metaphor of my whole life.

Writing and posting
Wow, it's all going fine
Miss Gorelick, Miss Devonshire
Welcomed me aboard
Two lovely ladies
Wow, this Highlander's scored
But honestly
The feeling i received
Was very much more
Than i had dream-ed
The weeks progressed
As i wrote my poems
The comments by Carolyn
Had kept me going
As i wrote away
Topics and themes
Historical and nature
Subjects to me, supreme
As i read Carolyn's
And she read mine
Two peas in a pod
It springs to mind
Similar writings
And some even the same
Signals in harmony
Sailing the same plain
And look at us now
A collaboration couple
Our future in write
A poet double
Our poems together
Two heads as one
Look out for our postings
There's much more to come

The soul wanderer reached a lower realm
He was offered Siddhis, women and wealth
Love suffused heart, having God at the helm
Saw ego’s serpentine approach in stealth
What avail power, when God search our aim
Why pander to lust, since life ebbs away
Once enlivened by bliss, we’re not the same
Rapture by day and night, that’s here to stay
Ensouling mind-body, love flame steady
Joyous soul entwines with Holy Spirit
Gong of truth within signals we’re ready
To plunge in the void and reach the summit
All’s enabled when desires we let go
Renounce oh hermit, cravings of ego

"The Velvet Echo"
Lives
eclipse
one comes in
the other out
passing light
in empty hallways
corridors of subversive
romantic notions
strange singing,
the sounding lifts
waves
enticing,
smiles curiously
unsure, in the drift
towards another life
oceans deeper across
invocations, swimming sirens
beautiful bells appealing
fibonacci tendrils
enveloping emptiness
another language
transferred, in the feeling
stretching eternity
in subliminal universes
never touching
but touching
one looks over
to the other,
there, somewhere,
something other, sensed
contracted
reflections
holding
patterns
for a while each
the other
the signing sings
in elliptical signals
mysterious
missives
one in wonder
one in doubt
the myth of each
rich and encrypted
before waking
as in a dream
there in that sacred place
a voice unseen
impresses,
its velvet echo caresses
the softness suspended
in two hearts held
it says,
to each
“You are in my realm now”
“You are in my realm now”

Hello September
By end of August, leaves curl on the trees;
the hues of brown and yellow catch our eye.
The deepened shades of green fade in degrees,
and soon it's time that Summer says goodbye.
Now cool September bends to Fall's concern,
though still, some Summer warmth may overflow,
the shortening of days signals the turn
to think about our Autumn's golden glow.
The colored crispness of bright fallen leaves
negates the loss of Summer's carefree days.
Progression's slow, but day by day Fall weaves
a special time of year that will amaze.
September makes her mark with Labor Day,
when then we know for sure that Summer's done.
Our thoughts turn to lifestyles another way,
preparing for our Wintertime's long run.

Dawn hurls fine hues
Sparkling sunrise;
Nature awakes
Dazzling colours
Signals and signs;
Song of morning
Night is lifted
Day comes to shine;
Endless possibilities
Walk in sure light
Embrace the warmth;
Sizzle and smile
Another journey
To explore joy;
Let faith know peace
Let zest attend
Daytime demeanour;
Truth echoes zeal
Life is a fest
In swirl and surge;
Dare to emerge
Laughter comes
To show just how;
Enjoy delight
All that you see
Comes just to charm;
Lovely things happen
Frolic with time
Space a canvas;
Live bright colours
What you see
Is what you get;
Nothing else matters

Singapore
Almost four-o-clock in the afternoon
and not a single tambourine in sight
you should have jumped over the moon
hours ago, until
secret alien creatures on the surface
said the autopsy was inconclusive
which explains for me why
icicles drip from your heart, as the sun
warms the memory of your embrace, like
moonflowers, gently unfolding at night
reveal the mysteries of love
the bandleader, wearing a feathered pompadour
signals a final formation
somewhere in time
your tune marches into the distance
marches
.......into the distance

HUMANS, ANTS AND SHADOWS
The smallest ants cast long shadows. . .
Little they are but see how discipline they can be
Millimeters apart, they all unify in a single file
It's a dismay that at some point
Humans, don't show such discipline
Instead of waiting for their turn
Sometimes one overtakes, one assumes
someone else's post just to be on time
selfish motive or emergency,
who knows?
Polymorphic ants, they merge
to do an umbrella of tasks
Humans regardless of status and age
All are entitled to do some chore
inside ones home, school or workplace
Hand and hand in a web of labor
Talking to each other
with their own way: pheromones
Some colonies act as one
but some misunderstands, they fight.
Humans as well does communicate
with the languages that abound this earth.
Hence, we can readily convey our thoughts
but still, highest among creations,
there are still confusions and war.
Amazing!
Such little creatures,
Ants and we, humans,
one way or another
cast long shadows. . .
