Premium Member Who are you, who penetrate my soul and daze me

Who are you, who penetrate my soul and daze me?
What through dreams do you slip subtly, feign divinity?
Why are you the apparition that stretches its shadow and chills me,
When in the coolness of the night, I wait to glimpse your divine trace?
How does your shadow wander over my barren world,
I, captive in fascination, watch what others cannot guess.
I see oceans of boundless yearning, destinies without anchor,
I see a hidden world, shrouded in mystery and ancient witchcraft.
Whispering dreams that struggle in the white horizons of dusk,
When nights clothe the dawns and the present is eternal,
I wonder again, who are you, from what story have you detached?
How do you shine in your world, a wandering star at dawn?
How does your sculpture borrow shapes from the smile of the morning,
Purer than the sun bathing on golden hills?
Why do your deep eyes pierce through a mad, crisp green,
Revealing a wondrous world in the crystalline tear?
And why have you come along my path to steal my dreaming,
To lose myself in your splendor, in the mystery of our brief love?
To be my storm and calm on my solitary path,
To give you my pure love, in the living silver cup?
Who are you? What unstoppable call wrenches my heart when the waves of the sea hit me,
And from every angle of the world come endless, alien rains?
Who are you, my fulfilled thought, brought to earth with a step of dance,
When night extends its reign, and the silences are adorned in petals and suns?

Premium Member Moon Prayer

The moon that graces evening skies
     Has shone on those who’ve walked before
And in the glimmer of its glow
               I almost see them walk once more

I find that we’ve not changed at all
              Aside from fashion trends and such
As lovers still walk in the park
                 And babies coo at mother’s touch

And though I’d like to say we’ve learned
                             I see no evidence of that
As tongues still wag and disapprove
            Of those with whom we’ve never sat

And so dear moon, if you could try
                   To shine the lessons of the past
Perhaps we’ll see how we can live
             And light the world in love held fast

Premium Member I Am Alone Yet Not Alone Cause I Got Jesus On the Inside of Me-

 I am not alone
in the world
 yet I am alone
 in this sinful World

somewhere beside me
 know right here there's
Jesus right here
right now beside me

 it's Jesus I am breathing
 somewhere inside me
 no right here beside me
 is the Breath of God
the breath of my living God

 some try to hide me
 the light I've shown you
Shows that I am not alone
 I let my light so
 do shine
 shine
 I am not alone

 I got Jesus alive
Got God's breath on the inside
in on the inside
 on the inside
Christ with me
on the inside
Holy Spirit got me
 free freed on the inside

 light so shines
illuminates mine's
 my face countenance
 I am with Christ
out all around me
I am not alone, nor lonely on the inside
I got the love of Christ in me

The Green Man

Swimming in a forest of Great and tall Trees,
Walking in a sea of fragrance so sweet
and Glowing in the doorway,
Blue eyes are gleaming....

It's the Green Man and he sees me dreaming.

In a swirl of blue around the Earth drew,
his Oceans to protect the Seas.
A light in a beam, he shines in a stream,
creating the electric bees. And a breeze...
Giving life in the Light and a cycle so right,
he's growing his love in the seeds.
Making glow candle bright to continue right
he's loving his Trees into Light.
And they're beaming....glowing on the wick
and streaming...

It's the Green Man and he sees me dreaming.

"Come the Great Bat" by his side in a stride
Nurishing Time that was right for the flight.
Feeding with care and with love and with pride,
the MasterPeace Trees on his Mountain side.

Makes a Moon shine in a Knight she's seeing,
Two eyes through, the light and they're beaming...
The Green Man's Trees are the seas in my dreaming.

Premium Member My Life Is Such a Blessing

Life is such a blessing
By Franklin Price

(edited 6/10/2018)

Life is such a blessing, of that I'm here to tell
It's not the money that you have although that's kinda swell
It's a happy life and satisfaction to be just where you are
Which means you hung your choices on your best shining star
My star may not be your star, we all pick a different one
What matters is the one you choose, will be your special sun
Will shine above all others, of this, please have no doubt
Choose your star most carefully, never let the light go out
My star for me is happiness and love throughout my life
I've done quite well in that respect, I have a super wife
I never doubt she loves me and she knows I love her too
We work at building liking, a somewhat harder thing to do
We give and take and fuss and cuss but really very little
We think ahead because of love to meet mostly in the middle
Sometimes the sharing changes and becomes a ninety - ten
We work our way through everything, to the middle once again
It isn't always easy, you must give it all you've got
Remember the very best you get, is only half the pot
It isn't all about you, get that thought out of you mind
Or you can tell your foolish self, to kiss you own behind
My eyes are open, the light is bright, I found my star for life
It's not in space, it's here on earth, it is my darling wife
I work with her, she works with me, we've made a life together
We've seen the sun ,and felt the rain, and every kind of weather
There's nothing we can't do, if we come to it as one
Sharing, balanced, or imbalanced, try to have a little fun
See that there is nothing, that at the end, can't come out right
Resolve to never go to bed in the middle of a fight
The things I've said have worked for me, after all it is my star
One year to half a century, that's how far along we are
The two of us together just my best friend and me
The star selected ,shining bright, for all the world to see

Premium Member My One Goal

I have one goal, that is to become whole
Not to be faultless, but a gracious soul
To not become angry, but understand
When folk do the things I find underhand.

Anger does nothing but drive one insane
Those causing it, to them it's just a game
Must learn to let those hurtful words depart
Not to let them sting alike a thrown dart.

With only goodwill and fine deeds to do
A smile to greet all those that I meet too
My heart would then increase millionfold
It would seem my life was made of pure gold.

I must remember to pray day and night
That I can become a beacon of Light
Listening to what the Lord has to say
On how to shine bright, in a godly way.

Hoping it won’t be long for me to reach
The goal I desire, that will gift me peace.
I wish to be remembered, when I’m gone
For a lifetime well lived, by everyone.

Premium Member Naomi

You were my mentor of The Word

                                My mother-in-law, my friend

                               You taught me of your Holy God

                                 Whose throne will never end

                                      You were my Naomi,

                                   I, Mother, was your Ruth

                              Your precious face shown golden

                              As you taught of Heavenly Truth

                                 Naomi, where you are I too

                            Will one day follow to dwell with you

                            Because you took my youngish hand

                               To dwell with you in Holy Lands

                                Naomi, Mother, I am your Ruth

                           Your light still shines beyond my youth

                           In heaven's glow, long now you shine

                             Sweet heavenly light, of God divine

16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God...."

Premium Member Starshine--

Shine in, shine in;Star shine;
Good morning world;
I love you so;
At night or day, star shine;

Forever glowing, forever mine star shine;
ooh, you keep me just wondering all the time;
Like a birdy flying in the skies;

through the open skies
At a steady pace
now I wonder when will the moon let you show;
All your sparkling satellites behind a darken space;
ooh, star shine I just wanna let you know;
Shine in, shine in;
Starshine

Forever glowing, forever mine star shine;
ooh, you keep me just wondering all the time;
Like a birdy flying in the skies;
Starshine;

Premium Member Down Where

Down where the river bends between
Two mountains steep, autumn breezes
Stir trees, blow leaves to harvest glean
There's an isle one could live in ease

See from whence the river doth come
And which way it doth flow, open
Window to life above, how life hums
Miles below, time and again

One could see activity flow.
Each day's sunrise 'pon the mountain
Everyday's sunsets westerly show
A hermit's isle which in thoughts remain

How constant the gold sun would rise
Each night the moon would shine its light
Steady like God's grace that great prize
The open door to heaven's home and delight

You Rode Out On It

feeling to well known
can't hide the hurt
travel far and wide
to uncover the splint in my heart
the day after you broke it
i play the morning over
in my head remembering
what you said
not that it fell on deaf ears
not that i didn't understand
but i couldn't believe you spoke it
tangled and twisted waves of
emotions fog covered thoughts
a tidal-wave of tears supplied
the river for your leaving
no one else will use this vessel
the way you rode out on it
the kaleidoscope of your perspective
is all over the place far left to
the extreme right on what grounds
gave you smite , bloodied and venomous
your taunting exposed raw nerves
glisten and shine like a new bike
i will i will as those words spewed at me
i am leaving ,true you are
left me staring back at you from the
mirror , i am not that bad ?
sure we didn't make the right
choices ,that morning you left
your words still haunt me as you said
"i don't want to do this anymore i quit
and i am going to a meeting"
i pleaded with you not to flush it down the toilette
but you did , i hate you for not looking back
i am stuck here ,

good by my addiction
