Naomi

You were my mentor of The Word

                                My mother-in-law, my friend

                               You taught me of your Holy God

                                 Whose throne will never end

                                      You were my Naomi, 

                                   I, Mother, was your Ruth

                              Your precious face shown golden

                              As you taught of Heavenly Truth

                                 Naomi, where you are I too

                            Will one day follow to dwell with you

                            Because you took my youngish hand

                               To dwell with you in Holy Lands

                                Naomi, Mother, I am your Ruth

                           Your light still shines beyond my youth

                           In heaven's glow, long now you shine

                             Sweet heavenly light, of God divine

I have to admit that the Book of Ruth is my favourite. And the quote is also my favourite one.

Ruth is one of my favorite books of the Bible too, it is a wonderful story, just beautiful.
