~Love Like No Other~
(Sonnetina Rispetto)
There is no love like a mother
She just loves you like no other
Mothers are angels from God sent
They're here for us from time of birth
God put them for us here on earth
Mothers want their kids safe content
There is no love like a mother
She just loves you like no other.
Mothers best friends they want to share
They give us love for us they care
Mothers are angels from God sent
Mothers want their kids safe content
There is no love like a mother
She just loves you like no other.

Noise in her Mind
I know her so well she came long ago to visit my being
we share beauty and bedlam boudoir and kindest of spirits
She walks like a cat woman hears like a bat feeds birds
quietly she soothes thunder’s volcano howls with the wolves
Klimt’s Kiss Vermeer’s Girl With Pearl Earring Botticelli’s Venus Degas’s
Dancer In Repose Fedro’s Much Better With Age she
absorbs pastel and paint strokes symphonies on canvas
so many facets big bangs and roaring giggling convulsions
Sometimes Woman Laughing from Goya’s dark paintings
a Broken Column like Kahlo’s when some Munch’s Scream
invades and infests silence deep inside her beautiful scull
Voices shout from profuse directions focus condense and
refract confront tease torment disagree and interfere with
calm serene serenades when a few notes tender chords
and accord vanish into cacophonies misleading the song
I know her so well admire her resilience and how she copes
with the noise the disruption and the ballet of so many
different views pandemonious clangour onslaught of turmoil
as she appears calm on the surface orchestrates quiet composure
How she holds it all together I cannot really fathom with all that
jumbling distance so close and yet so far from my innocent mind
My Venus Of Milo has taught me so much most of it all and over
above that imperfection is a wonderful gift and very complete
I have to leave here to know how good it is
To stay any longer can only jeopardize all reality
A definite one place to be solely missed
This one place to have restored all faith in humanity
However... you need to be in dire to finally be here
You need to be lost and destroyed to know what here means
The very kind of restoration you would believe in fear
Because right here will you only believe it... a dream
You will become friendly in it's inland practice
Well fed and well indulge in all absence of the world
Almost unreal to be unreasonably held captive
Before here... I truly wonder how have I kept myself a whole?
Perhaps you have seen what this place can do
Have you felt what this place can enchant?
There isn't even racism to be judged anew
There is simply only a you with nothing more to want
I can understand its existence regardlessly
Because the world we share in isn't a friendly zone
Exactly why to stay any longer will mean jeopardy
When you know how this world isn't a place to call home
We fought a wills grief, but your push prevailed,
Nest over my door; guests will share another gate.
Don't chide as other birds, you flew and wailed,
My heart won't allow me to destroy this template.
Nest over my door; guests will share another gate,
Where ever you fly, your nest is hither. Winner!
My heart won't allow me to destroy this template,
Your idea to nest near fills me with a glimmer.
Where ever you fly, your nest is hither. Winner!
As your folk grows, it will spur me of my children,
Your idea to nest near fills me with a glimmer,
You and your pal can secure food in a swift run.
As your folk grows, it will spur me of my children,
They're keen to fly once you well fulfill their need,
You and your pal can secure food in a swift run,
I recall, the joy and pain of eyeing my kids stampede.
They're keen to fly once you well fulfill their need,
They'll test their wings and spot if they're sturdy,
I recall, the joy and pain of eyeing my kids stampede,
Without noting your loss, they'll flee and be wordy.
They'll test their wings and spot if they're sturdy,
Don't chide as other birds, you flew and wailed,
Without noting your loss, they'll flee and be wordy,
We fought a wills grief, but your push prevailed.

Thousands of homes on the East Coast were
not spared from the ravages of Randy in late October,
the misery of devastation was everywhere:
Hamilton Beach was flooded by feet of water,
so was Old Howard Beach and Lindenwood
got its share, too when lights started flickering;
my apartment could have been flooded to the ceiling,
lost everything and going back I would have smelled mold!
The first thing I did was Thank God for His endless mercy,
realizing that other survivors weren't that lucky as I.
Why are these storms more frequent? Are we messing with Mother Nature?
Global warming is too scary...winters in New York are getting much warmer!
I have witnessed the scariest storm in my lifetime,
Glory and Irene compared to Sandy weren't that wild;
what's predicted next? It can't be a Universal Deluge,
because God promised there wouldn't be another...
and where, if that happened, could we find refuge?
We'll be swallowed up alive by massive tides and carried far!
Some people call me
Cutiepie, baby, I don't mind
I'm just modest...shy...
Yet...shirtless at home
Insecure and, yeah, alone
Ditched, drenched garden gnome
Compliments are good
Love getting them actually
Still misunderstood
Some people call me
Sexy or handsome, my dear
But, I'm none of those...
Chose to be humble
But, confident all the same
Good-looking crumble
My filling is fat
But, more to love - that cliche!
Little fuzz won't hurt
Ambitious always,
But I am generous still
Selfless more or less
I am a boobear
I have tons of love to share
Care to get your fill?
Care to get our thrill?
I'm also wise in my youth
A bit of a pill...
I warm up, you'll see
I'm worth it, far from priceless
Intelligence is key
Some people call me names -
Conceited brat with selfies
Still got the geek brains!
I don't like hookups
My passion is airborne flames
Eager for those 'ups'
I'd rather have you
As I cuddle you all night
Sick with dem luv flu
Hashtag flirt alert
It will keep you interested
Shucks, I'm an expert!

Thanksgiving time is here again
Yummy feast and families to meet! Now I see You grin!
Wonderful day to take all your cares away
With Hopes and Love You'll truly share today
Time to remind you that Family and Friends
They're always there in our hearts to Love...

At summer"s end when all the flowers tuck away
I still have you, to laugh and share my days
when autumn rolls around and heat is gone
I still have you, to share a moments bless
At winter"s door when all the trees lay bare
I still have you to warm this hearted lair
Awakened by the spring's invited breath
I still have you to love, at break of dawn
With you, as sun, these seasons have no say
When summer ends and flowers tuck away
I pray no matter how the seasons range
The growing love I have for you will softly change

“When at night sleep becomes evasive,
pensive poets become creative”
Quote poet’s own.
* *Ever since I saw the good Lord’s Light
I trust everything will be alright
For it is His love for one and all
That saves us from a ghastly downfall.
Praise God for His everlasting care
For listening to everyone’s prayer
And for blessing the path that we tread
That leads us to peace and happiness.
Give thanks for our share of daily bread
That sees our souls are graciously fed
So we can shine our radiance too
Every day for our whole lives through.
Our hearts are our torch, the shine of life
To help us show others the gleaming Light
So they experience the wondrous glow
And radiate Light where’er they go.

Feeling pensive on this long lonely night
Finding it difficult to sleep, so I write.

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very
fuzzy, was he!
But...
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a ducky
(warm underwater-- how lucky!)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a gerbil
(naturally, he was non-verbal)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a kitty
(and by the way, very pretty)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a puppy
(so much fuzzier than a guppy)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a packrat
(but don't let him hear you say that!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bird
(and he loved his lemon curd!)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a kitten
(all who met her were quite smitten!)
