Do You See

Do you see the dragon in the woods?
It's trying to hide between the trees.
It doesn't seem evil to me so it must
Be good.
I am going to look. No! I don't think
You should.
We don't even know it's pedigree.
Do you see the dragon in the woods?
I wonder if it talks? Oh! It looks like
It's hurt. I see blood.
Really? I think we need to hide it on
The QT.
It doesn't seem evil to me so it must
Be good.
Look it stood.
Now it's bowing to me.
Do you see the dragon in the woods?
I was wondering how did you get so
Deep in to the wildwoods?
The less you know the better. Please,
Some one has to give it the third
Degree.
It doesn't seem evil to me so it must
Be good.
I was looking for you so I am glad my
Directions I misunderstood.
Goodness gracious. It can talk. Princess
Of the dragons I am here to deliver to
You your key.
Do you see the dragon in the woods?
It doesn't seem evil to me so it must
Be good.

I See Beauty

Brimful words deny a rain
Veiling all the layers of strain.
On the wings of time wounds fly
A rage swallowed with no sigh.
One soul, of beauty a sea
For each dark, twin light I see.
When Self unleashed, strength at reach
A wisdom deserved to preach.
Brightened beats stage a warm heart
Wealth of music, words, fine art.
Invincible souls soar high
With wonderful worlds ally.
For each heart there is a home
With every pain joy would foam.
Drops of awe in silence purl
Sink a void and raise a pearl.
Climb mountains and oceans cross
A fresh Life you come across.
Their very feel the words scratch
What is inside they can touch.
Lots to see for souls to be
In a bid to be, Beauty.

To See You Again

As I hold my sweet baby girl
I am in such awe of your beauty
Your tiny hands and tiny feet
You are as perfect as can be

Your olive skin, and raven hair
A true angel here on earth
I feel so blessed to be
the vessel of your birth

I hold you in my arms and press
You tight against my broken heart
The pain I feel right now is
To give you a worthy start

I knew right away that mine,
you were not meant to be
I was meant to bring you here
And provide you another family

To love you and to support you
The way that I wished I could do
But everything I sacrificed
Was all for my love for you

The last day that I held you
Was 31 long years ago
Over the years my love has grown
And oh, how I miss you so.

One day soon, I hope,
I can hold you in my warm embrace
To look into your eyes once more
And place a kiss upon your face.

I can’t wait to hear of how
The years of your life have gone
I just hope that I don’t have to wait
To see you, very long.

The Way To See

It's imperative,
I change the narrative,
Give me a better chance,
Glance into destiny,
Seeing only the best in me,
The rest taught me to be,
Author of my reality,
A personality behind the pen,
Bending my mind through time again,
Sending signs of confirmation,
An affirmation of elevation,
Repairing a relationship,
Getting a grip on the past,
Blasting passed barriers,
A carrier of light,
There's no need to fight,
It's going to be alright,
Setting my sights high,
I pry open the present,
My moment is now,
And somehow, I always knew,
Our dreams could come true,
Staying true to the course,
A force resides within you,
Your guide knows what to do,
And it's up to you,
To decide how to view the ride.

Can You See

My child asks. What do you see in the walls?
My reply was I can't see anything at all.
My child pointed and said Look Mom there's
The buffalo head looking proud,
Over there's an alien waving to you from a cloud,
Here's the kitten who is very sweet
Looking at you from under a sheet,
Can you see the giraffe that never says a thing?
I believe she can sing.
In the background you can see the wolf with his
Head up ready to howl.
Please, tell me
You can see
These things now.
I was amazed as I said Oh! My goodness I can
But, let's finish drying your hands with this towel.
Try to find the water fowl.
It was fun examing our walls.
I am so excited about this that I'm going to tell
The next person who calls.
Well! Not all.
Some adults can be rather small
Minded as I recall.

Premium Member See Ya In Heaven

In the seven years since I officially retired
Have had trouble keeping my old brain active
A major activity that's filled the void
Is P-Soup which has kept my brain captive

Owe my well being to this wonderful site
Anxiously checking my inbox
To see who's sent me these glowing responses
Check it before donning my socks

Addicted, I'd have to say that's true
But life would be quite boring without it
You people boost my ego every day
Might survive but I really kinda doubt it

So on my tombstone they'll probably inscribe
He died in an extremely poetic way
His last words rhymed as they closed the casket
“That's all I have to say today”

Premium Member Do We See

Sometimes God does thing we do not understand
But later we see what that is all about
Have patience
We may kick and scream
And throw a tantrum
But know that He always gets what He wants
And have the last word
It’s always good for us
What He wants for us
It’s so easy to say
Trust Him
Trust in the One who is in charge
And knows it all
We would never know
Until we experience it
But know that
He will prove
He is the One
Knows all
And does all
So there my friend
Kicking and screaming
Go you go
It won’t change a thing
He will get His way
And it will be good for you
Make no doubt about it
You will see

They Don'T See the War

They don't see the war.
They think it's ahead.
They wait for it coming
and live with the dread.

They won't try to stop it
They think it's not here.
They think it is coming
from others they fear.

They do what they're told to
They trust they are safe.
They live for their government
and all feel the chafe.

They think it is progress.
They won't soon improve.
They think of no changes
and live in it's groove.

They say they can't fight it
They won't try to help.
They think it is futile
and all live to yelp.

They can't live together
They won't see the other
They think they're alike
till differences smother.

They come to an ending
they can't understand.
They all die together
in war hand in hand.

Premium Member I see you in everything

The water lilies bathe in ripples of water,
Just as you bathe in my eyes,
And from the sky the beautiful moon
Illuminates you like in fairy tales.

The trees bow their branches
When the wind blows from the south,
And I see you, beautiful lady,
Like a ghost among the walnut trees.

When the white clouds touch the firs,
And the butterflies dance in a circle,
I see you in the tree bark
Painted by a firefly.

When rain clouds gather
And the flowers hide in the field,
I see you as the most beautiful flower,
When you are swayed by the wind.

When the water flows in cascades,
Just as your hair flows,
I see you laughing in the distance
And I want to hold you in my arms.

When the rainbow shows itself
From above, from the blue sky,
I see you as a white angel girl
With long, pink wings.

I see you in everything, Lady,
And I have longed to touch you,
But you always run away from me,
You are ephemeral like a thought.

I can not move in my snowy world, yet you are warm and toasty all the time. Now and then you shake me up, then the snow falls heavily. I once again get covered with snow, all white and cold I just stand and wait.
