Darling I may never have told you
Ain't nothing right without you
You're the star of the show
My leading lady
Keeping you happy ain't no chore
I love you
I guess I wanted you to know
Sometimes I get a little busy
we spend so much time apart
here a little something to make you smile
It comes straight from my heart
Said I love you
Ain't got no problems saying it again

Toasted Kernals of Salted, Saged Brothing's

he spoke of hear the pig's heart
they sounded loudly thru the ribs
his flesh was fresh and would
cause him to wish for silence
"the husk's of the kernal's,
are grounded by those sages who
are brothed by livers and kidneys
the flesh of the swine, damn-it might his
heart be silent
might my ears hearest him not!
she created me with seasons
in the room
beaneath her floor
the heart sounds thru it's aroma
to starve me into my sileance.
might bread be browned
and eggs warmed to perfection
that the I might silence the
pig beneath the floor.
than might you love me
than might you love me!

He wishes to have scrapple egg's and toast.

Futile Escape Out Clutches of Penury Rattle Tin Can Once

finds yours truly groveling along
February third 2022,
never linkedin - analogous to stray animal
without being befriended,
thus I don't belong
survival instincts taught yours truly
the necessity acting
courageous and headstrong

even if necessary
to stare down King Kong,
who actually shows me respect
such that every now and again
we play a game of ping pong
and on a crisp night
roast marshmallows kindle campfire
and sing Kumbaya song.

This tramp (which stereotyped
caricature familiarly epitomized
in countless Chaplinesque productions,
Dickensian tales,
oil paintings from
artistic hands of great masters
and others anonymous
exquisite painters, et cetera)
remembers practically nothing
of me nine-month stay in utero
birth, childhood nor early adulthood.

My amorphous gauzy,
hazy fractal memories
solely comprise fractured,
fragmented and splintered collection
of miserable experiences,
which characterize living
a hellacious hand to mouth
hard scrapple existence.

Past wispy vestiges of wretchedness
and now present woebegone existence
seems a worse fate than death.

The overpowering urge to survive
and summon up one barely audible
l’chaim utterance against the depredations
of the grim reaper only found
nothing but defeat.

That daily dismal
grinding away of last shreds
of a purpose driven life fending off real
and imagined threats sought salvation
in a vividly encased jammed
preserve of mine imagination
an existence awash with ample
trappings of comfort.

It Can'T Be That Hard

Bushels and bushels of apple upon apple,
Canned, frozen, or fresh just couldn't keep up the pace.
Fallen fruit amounted to ripe fermented scrapple,
The solution of course, stared us both in the face.

If we had the setup we could bottle the stuff,
Taking the essence of the apple's sweet mashed flesh.
Producing hard cider would use up more than enough.
All that we'd need is grinder, storage, and a press.

We searched the internet for the tools of the trade,
This proved to be fruitless, expenses added fast.
There had to be a better way, something hand made.
Maybe a trip to Walmart could solve this at last.

Gripping three one hundred dollar bills, we were off,
Wood chipper, yeast, trash can; we loaded up the cart.
Borrowed a car jack and a old tarp for the trough.
It all came together, we're ready to start.

We had a few issues duct tap readily fixed,
Amassing cider in bucket after bucket.
We capped each barrel with ingredients mixed
A little of this, a little that, ahh... suck it...

Fermented, bottled, capped and allowed to settle,
Trying at last, dry and sparkling, with a smooth taste.
Up to get more, we fell tail over teakettle,
The only mistake we made was standing in haste.

Yours Truly Embarks On Wild Goose Chase After Elusive Pot of Gold

alternately titled: incorrigible lottery dreamer
big plans to relocate self and spouse
to some tropical island paradise
by the dashboard light

to musician named Meatloaf)
upon arrival of my steamer.

A fool's errand finds me emptying out billfold,
especially as the winnings increase ninefold.

Paradise visage and eyes a bulge with dollar signs

with fate to experience rich draught

from penury a distant battle fought
expect the usual outcome
after next drawing to yield monetary naught
temptation for instant millions eagerly sought
human foible to reach until life lesson taut
for elusive pot of riches
streak of universal desire
and tacked clear of shoals,
where hard scrapple existence wrought.

Premium Member Marvel Spotlight On the Ghost Rider 8

Crash Simpson grasped the flaming sword
and held it up against the Ghost Rider
They would battle to the death
a vision that continued to grow even wider

But Crash's daughter was in the way
holding close to Johnny Blaze's side
Crash refused to engage
not wanting her to die

Then suddenly Crash and Ghost Rider tumbled
down deep into the bowels of hell
"Johnny Blaze prepare to die!!"
Crash uttered in a fiesty yell

In front of Satan they battled,
then a large serpent grabbed the spirit of vengeance
Crash Simpson could not injure him
and he quickly changed his intentions

With the sword he killed the serpent
and then ended the life of a demon
But he was injured in the scrapple
and his life soon became one of dreaming

Soon Ghost rider was reunited with Roxanne
and she seemingly forgot about the battle
but off to the desert they would go
where monster snakes would loudly rattle

Pannhaas

Savory described the dish a staple for breakfasters
The stock was said to be key to the foundation
of the dish.
2 hams
2
3 livers
3 kidneys
2 heads

cooked in 1 gallon of reserved pigfeet stock
add water to cover
take the meat off the bone
and stew the bones to make a broth
We used green peppers, carrots and onions and garlic to
make the broth
and mixed it with the broth of the meat and offals.
"when the meat is tender: glove up
and squish the large portion into handling size"
we would gring them later in a meat grinde
.2-5 cups fine cornmeal
¼-1 cup buckwheat flour
½ -1cup yellow onion diced small
For most scrapple recipes, the standard amount of
ground or rubbed sage is 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
for every 1 pound of meat
grinf the meat
add the cornmeal and flour mix
add sage, salt(3 Tablespoons) add no more until
the mixture is at desired thickness
and has been tased for saltiny.
Common spices in scrapple include sage,
thyme, and black pepper, along with other
seasonings like salt, savory, and nutmeg.
Many recipes also call for garlic powder,
onion powder, and cayenne pepper for additional flavor.
Mix spices and taste
adjust to desired flavor
using loave pans and muffin tins ( small ones for decrotive effect)
load up and allow the scrapple to set up.
In a cool room place the scrapple for up to five hours before regerration or freezing
slice and enjoy!
*********************Note you can add cooked bacon and mushrooms that have been freid and twisted dry(in a cheesecloth)***********************************************************************

We had a fine supper that evening a celebration for all
Waffles
Pancakes
sausages
bacon
and scapple
with pies and cakes
A great time had by all
to celebrate the autumn
in preparation for
Winter!
