Surrendering to cool hues of amber days.
Elegant harmonize blaze outerwear lays.
Phrases undescribable arrays to praise.
Trees sashay into the rhythm breath of calming
Effusion of gold blooms fields flavorful breeze.
Morning glories and lilies requited love,
Birth of sapphire skies dominate the Autumn
Equinox a changeover sun from summer.
Refresh bright eyes resting in tangerine scenes.

Fall morning wood smoke aroma zephyr out;
A deft flick pirouette ambient flutter
Leaves crisp fly with whispers of meander wind.
Late nightfall chattering nature slowly creeps,
Short days, long nights earth's axis tilted a bit.

Premium Member In a Sigh

I said goodbye, with a soft sigh.
No words could explain this moment,
Shadows of doubt, shaded by death
Impressing the notes of a song, breathless and wild
Restoring my faith, yet it wouldn’t see the grace,
Beneath the autumn romance, that second chance
When the wind drifted across the hills,
Pressing in on my soul – accusing, coloring my life
So bold, vibrant hues of darkest blues
Sapphire suns and indigo tunes, blowing across my spirit
Singing – it will become the moment, the past
When the final breath will shout its news,
It is in the blues, silent and wild – singing like a smile,
On the wind, on the truth, on the measures of soothing
There is the moment, past yesterday’s cobalt secrets
When the penetrating rhythms of life’s song sings,
An aching lonely composed by the soul
Who feels the end beckoning, the wind listening
For the final notes of our last hope,
When the closing of a life whispers goodbye with a sigh.

Premium Member In the hidden world, where dreams dance

In the hidden world, where dreams dance,
I venture in search of concealed mysteries,
Where the moon weaves tales in silver rays,
And stars whisper secrets in the depth of the night.
Fairy feathers, shining in the moonlight,
Hidden in the heart of the forest, where time stands still,
In every leaf, in every dewdrop,
Magic is born, wrapping everything in a dreamy aura.
Amethyst fruits, growing on opal branches,
With a sapphire core, shining in the dark,
And their seed: a precious stone, carved by the wind,
Glowing in a thousand colors, singing ancient songs.
I love the murmur of rivers flowing through emerald valleys,
Where nymphs dance and sirens sing,
And in every hidden corner, in every shadow,
Magic awakens, bringing with it endless wonders.

The dazzling dawn lights up my heart’s horizon,
spreads the sensuous spectrum of luring longing
on the gorgeous blooming garden flushed with my love,
swathing the facsimile of your florid face with charisma.

The patina of rose blushes in your sensuous lips,
glittering with the grandeur of charismatic petals.
Rhapsodic wind blows in mesmeric meadow of my heart,
as you become mine, I float beguiled in ether of euphoria.

The sculpted window of your hazel eyes closes
like the folded ornate wings of hypnotic butterfly.
Lattice of onyx eyelashes embroiders lissome lids of eyes,
harboring dulcet dreams in the fathomless sapphire sea.

The radiant cherubic cheeks are subtly caressed
by serenading zephyr suffused with fuchsia blush,
candescent in the amorous aurora of sunburst dusk sky.
Breathless, I etch in my halcyon heart the enticing image.

In my journey in the undulating terrain of life,
through the blizzard in the winter of despair,
and along the valley of flowers in the spring of delight,
by my side I always find you, the precious gift of God.

Mythical Creature of Old

Scales of azure and emerald green,
Adorn tri-folding translucent wings,
Radiating an iridescent sheen,
Off this mythical creature of old...

Crimson flames with every breath,
His eyes shrewd with amber hue,
One touch was the kiss of death,
From this mythical creature of old...

Soaring high in sapphire skies,
Thunder roaring over the land,
Queens shuddered hearing the cries,
Of this mythical creature of old...

Knights in armor searched in wild,
This dragon they could not find,
Kings sat upon thrones beguiled,
Over this mythical creature of old...

Untouched by swordsmen’s blades,
Beyond aim of hunter’s bow,
Capture he evades,
	This mythical creature of old...

Premium Member Plagued By Memories

In the splendorous sapphire space of my pristine heart,
shimmering in the sanctified radiance of the indigo night,
you gleamed like seraphic sequins of argentine moondust,
making me feel fascinated as I sensed your cerulean sheen.

My heart morphed into a mesmeric turquoise lake,
where the rose petals flying from my garden floated
with the reflection of the facsimile of your floral face.
My soaring spirit engraved the beauty of heavenly intuition.

My heart swathed by the silver streaks of stardust sparkle,
pulsated at its crescendo with the concerto of ecstasy,
where the beauty of your enticing ballet I saw imaged.
Suffused with moonshine my mind mirrored your charm.

My mind became resplendent replica of memory montage,
as the platonic pattern of heavenly love’s perception
configured the enticement image in kaleidoscopic collage.
where the unsoiled mirror of my heart reflected your beauty.

My yearning blazed in the inferno of your essence,
with the winged blizzard of winter the flame flew away,
turning the mind to extinguished embers of afflicted past,
piling up in debris of remembrance, swathed by gloomy ash.

On the weary wings of the winter of dire discontent,
wafting in wilderness on the polar winds of despair
the wilted leaves of my languishing longing
blew away rustling into the obscure realm of nowhere.

My yearning turned into glacial embrace of aggravation,
you flew away from the congealed fold of beleaguered love.
Forsaken in the freezing darkness of the arctic nest,
I live with the frozen feather you left in my plagued memories.

Premium Member Aura of Rhymes

This one goes out to a special poetry souper.
Dedicated to an unknown rhythmic ink trooper.
Her poetic pen is mightier than any sword,
she cares not for attention nor craves to be adored.
Not a daily poster, but like petals her words grow,
releasing deep thoughts like tranquil rivers flow.
Pouring out pain, portraying a life full of commotion,
she's never afraid to reveal deep repressed emotion.
Nonchantly, composing sonnets, prose and monorhymes.
A 'free verse' soul with a pure gift, ahead of the times.
Sometimes her humour can lead to hysterics.
Other times her words sing like melodic song lyrics.
From undefined uncertainties to unseen and unheard,
they're relatable verses, reflected through sentiments stirred.
Elegant as a redolent rose with that Midas touch.
Her art is like a masterpiece that needs no retouch.
Needs not hide behind metaphors to create her poetry.
Hails from an island of sapphire skies and turquoise sea.
I know her journey has faced a mountain of adversity
and living among devious souls has caused controversy.
Despite the darkness, she glows like a lantern at night.
In times of trouble, always finds the willpower to write.
When torment arrives, stabbing my heart with spears,
she's always there to ensure my mind's not full of fears.
A honest heart with the modest grace of a pacifier.
Has formed a legacy of an unassuming versifier.
Like a peacock spreading beauty - flamboyantly.
For me, the Aura of Rhymes is poetic royalty.

Quote: Your name is upon my tongue, your image is in my sight, your memory is in my heart. Where can I send these words that I write ? By Rumi

                              *******************

Remember Me—
Not as a wimpy palimpsest pressed in dust,
but as a melodic requiem
Swelling through sycamores,
a voice that thrums in amber air.
Stands out as brilliant, warm, and vivid—
candles in our memories for days.

I was your hubris and nemesis—
your panacea of song,
a sylphlike sigh whispered
woven in the welkin’s velvet veil
pure awareness of your heart.

Do not shred me into ephemera,
nor replace my passion—
with forgetfulness
I am the obelisk in your memory’s scope
the oculus through which eternity gropes.

Since death may alleviate with deceit,
Since shadows unravel the nexus of our days,
my love wincing, scintillating—
a sumptuous aurora
that presses the stygian night.

Remember me—
in the whispering calyx of summer blooms,
in the susurrous lagoon
where cicadas chant,
in every wistful whisper of wind
that morphs weariness into wonder.

I am not lost,
but vestigial luminous flame
a perpetuum pulse
a virtuoso of silence
hunting for your sapphire necklace
everlasting will,
singing still—
commit me to your memory.

Premium Member An Imaginary Journey into Mars

Outside, the night was gathering strength
How swift our lightning Sputnik,
Out running the speed of sound and light
Shot into space with a violent jerk

At a distance were luminous spheres
Suspended like glowing lanterns
Comets and meteors in hyper space
Seemed more like diffused patterns

An asteroid came whizzing towards us.
I closed my eyes in dreadful shock,
Fearing a terrible head on collision.
Thank God! It deviated from our track!

I looked at my friend seated beside
Obviously not here, lost in thought!
Looking down, I saw Mother Earth
A luminous ball, not bigger than a sapphire dot

Oh! How quickly we landed on Mars
It is so different from what I had learnt
Neither a barren belt of sterile terrain
Nor a rugged stretch of craters burnt

But a heavenly place so cool and serene
Full of scintillating scenes and ravishing sights
We, the emissaries from a faraway land,
Were warmly greeted by a team of alien sprites

The weight of the world suddenly lifted from us.
We bounced up and down almost floating in the air
Found ourselves in a gorgeous garden,
With springing fountains and blossoms fair.

Trees were laden with dazzling gems
Lagoons and lakes of liquid silver
Vast expanse of tawny vistas
Plains waving with luxuriant verdure

What fun…! Hmm…over there,
Nothing like what’s seen on planet Earth
A herd of animals so strange and rare
Grazing on red grass in a canyon of great width

Our eyes were agog to scan all around.
Accelerating our pace in rising delight,
Eager to explore every bit of ground,
We moved forward with enthusiastic gait.

*     *      *       *     *     *     *       *        *

As no one has so far set foot on this land,
We can call imagination to our aid,
To describe it as heavenly or hellish,
A luminous sphere or a terrain of dark shade.

Premium Member A Beautiful Day In Spring

Out of the dark, a lambent, lovely day has dawned
In silvery brilliance the early morning is drowned
In the sapphire sky, the sun has appeared on his diurnal shift
Over the firmament the vagrant clouds aimlessly drift

Pigeons nestle with their fledglings in the eaves
Bright sunshine seeps down through the leaves
Flocks of birds take on wings for their morning flight
Like diminutive dots they eventually disappear out of sight

All around is seen spring’s mesmerizing presence
The dormant bulbs have sprung back with a vengeance
They bear blossoms of pink, purple, yellow and white
Flashing before every watchful eye a spectacular sight

Like a bride, the Earth is clad in her silky emerald dress
Around honey laden florets, the bees restlessly buzz
Every heart overflows in cheer with no tension’s trace
On every face, smile shuttles from lips to eyes

In the wind I hear the lilts of a forgotten melody
From a woodland nearby, a lone bird sounds its parody
It seems Heaven has flung all its treasures down
And the Earth appears regally decked in floral crown

Within me, all of a sudden, I sense a divine elation
Erasing from my sullen soul, all traces of vexation
Through every fiber of my being, the waves of joy rise
And my spirit leaps out in ecstasy to the skies!
