#Precious
Day in and day out,
In my window,
my eyes lay low,
like a lion on its prey,
awaiting only to quench my soul
with your luminous glow.
Your drizzling laughs,
consistently sending shivers down my spine.
Wish you'd peep into my stomach
whenever you toss your eyes to my direction, constantly provoking the butterflies in my stomach, to run amok.
Shut my eyes,
clot my earsdrums,
in your distance my heart reverberates,
tie my tongue,
for my soul screams to your aura,
less these streets hear whats not meant for their ears to consume.
From a distance fell so hard,
bruises on my heart awakes
whenever I lay my eyes on you,
like demons in my spirits
evoked by your purity,
Owe it to bow to your parents
for slipping a goddess out of heaven,
without God's knowledge,
right into my vicinity

There is no perfect man
yes there is
There's no one who can stand
yes there is
There is no perfect husband
yes there is
O oh whoo what a man
But he lies he cheats he litigates he tears a asunder
He breaks hearts make broken shatter like glass
He's always misspoken woe unto me there's no perfect husband
oh but yes there is
Woe but a man who does nothing
Lays round and does nothing but
Playing video games constantly
And ranting screams and yelling for his wife to provide his supper
Miss Justice no affection slap on the face that's his affection
Rearing raising children a sperm donor
He's not Not even a home owner
use chosen but it's not it not there is a perfect husband
you ratify you make excuses but remember you're not delusional
sure he may go to work every now and then
but most the he out on the corner with his friend in and out of the house in and out of your life like a revolving door sometimes unfaithful
he's with that w**** but you know there's no such thing
as a perfect man
yes there is
where is one to be found I know that there's one
there is a perfect man perfect husband
the one who got down on one knee you were hoping
to be his wife for life
but yet he was enticed he let his sins run
run amok up whoa where's the perfect man
where's the perfect husband
here he is

There are places that I have got to go.
I’ve got my tunes cranked on the radio
Playing “Wild Thing” while the kids all sing along.
It may not be a “Magic Carpet Ride”
But it will comfortably seat eight inside.
Well, to heck with what the culture says, I am right where I belong…
I’m the epitome of the macho man!
Got my kids strapped into the mini-van.
All those soccer moms ain’t got a thing on me.
Got it in control. Going just as planned.
Me and my kids in the mini-van.
Gonna hit the park and then get some groceries.
Just a rebel on the open road, that’s me.
There are times we just want to explode.
Got a craving for that open road.
I guess rebellion’s in my bones and in my blood.
I got my “Good Vibrations” going on.
With the windows down it’s all “Fun, Fun, Fun”
And with the stroller and the diaper bag I just look like such a stud…
You can’t put the top down, but that’s all right by me.
I’m just glad to share the ride with my growing family.
I’ll never win a drag race but I don’t really mind.
It gets us where we’re going. We can leave our cares behind…
There are shallow fools that laugh and mock
But the kids all tell me, “Dad, you rock!”
As we carefully observe all the traffic rules.
It’s no motorbike, it’s no pickup truck.
Doesn’t make my ego run amok.
And we laugh at those who look down their nose for we know that we are cool…
Well, I got some news from the lovely wife.
Another little change in my “rebel” life.
Some might disagree, but I think it’s really neat.
So, I pack the kids up and strap them all in.
And we head on down the road again
To the retail store for the coming “one more”! We need a brand new baby seat…
Twixt life and hereafter
Break out in laughter
The better side of sixty
Louder, if you're thrifty
Ponder the tired frame
On inflammation, blame
Cells and tissues run amok
Immune cells, called, flock
Surgeons beckon
A windfall they reckon
Invading, nipping. gently
They probe, intelligently
Negative biopsy report!
You can still hold court
The end's hardly nigh
In consolation, sigh
There is an eagle flying
above a pure blue lake,
white head with a brown body,
and long feathers, proud and straight.
On its feet are long talons,
finest yellow you can find,
they’ll strike like a rattlesnake
if you give him a hard time.
Many critters look at him,
from the ground and from the trees,
they marvel at the eagle
and how it always flies free.
The eagle has its purpose,
and it has its normal prey,
most animals are all right
if they stay out of its way.
But rats and snakes despise it,
as they scurry in the dirt,
fear the eagle may come down
as they go about their work.
They burrow deep underground
to escapes its slashing feet,
and curse that there’s an eagle
who’s forever flying free.
Some predators don’t like him,
as they’re out hunting the weak,
since the eagle will hunt them,
diving down with a large screech.
They can’t prey on everyone
when the eagles fly up there,
have to fear for their own lives,
stick to shadows, move with care.
As long as there’s an eagle
there are places they can’t be,
they hate that something that strong
is allowed to just fly free.
Some small birds hate the eagle,
and annoy him when he flies,
you see them in small numbers,
making short, half-hearted dives.
Though they’re much like the eagle,
they’re still fearful of his strength,
the eagle just rolls his eyes,
has no need to target them.
Wonders why they don’t get it,
they are high up but don’t see
that you always need eagles
high above and flying free.
Sometimes even the eaglets
will look at these other birds,
and want to be just like them,
with the eagle finds absurd.
Why would one embrace weakness
in a world that preys on it?
The small birds all get eaten,
snakes and rats will do their bit.
They’re young and lack perspective,
eagle-eyed but they can’t see
that they were born true eaglets,
that they’re destined to fly free.
Without the eagle up there
things will quickly go berserk,
if your take out an apex
ecosystems do not work.
Too many rats and snakes crawl,
fox and coyote run amok,
killing all that they can get,
you will not find hare or duck.
Until that lake and its shores
become barren and empty,
you need that eagle up there,
and you need him to fly free.
From the Back of the Bus
The journey to school via that yellow tin can
They call it a bus at least where I come from, man
Long and narrow it transports it’s precious cargo
And delivers daily where we must show to grow
My favorite destination of that vehicle not of choice
Was the back of the bus so I could hide inside and rejoice
Many lessons were learned on the way to school
Observing life from that back of that melting pot pool
One learned about friendship between two friends
The shy kid whose ride was a means to an end
The bully that would run amok
Those were the ones that would have me duck
There were smiles and frowns alike
Most days I would rather ride my bike
Some days were up but most days were down
In the midst of the crowd and the class clown
Intersperse that beautiful girl
And the kids that made you want to hurl
Some were kind and some were tough
Seeing some of both was enough
Not realizing at that young age
This was preparing us for a different life stage
The ride was a daily grind
While I was looking for something else to find
From the back of the bus

”Rego’s threescore encore tour”
(one of me oldest/best mates has just turned sexy/sixty and is celebrating in Ronda in Espagna)
Did you hear..“Wow the Rego’s Sexy”
So tasty.. like Iberico jamon
Come on ..don’t be hasty.. cloth ears
Before it goes to his head
His peers said “the Ego’s.. Now Sixty”
As those he holds dear all ponder
The wonder of those hero years
Having a ball..let’s say cheers
To a Brummie (with a touch of svelte Celt) not a Scallie
Rich voice of Villa on the pitch
Of course Redditch does bewitch
But he gets that wanderlust itch
Marky couldn’t be much fonder
Of a wee wander..then dilly dally
Won’t keep tally …go dullally
Rally down a hammy tapas alley
Fawns about those prawns over yonder
With your ladies..shindig grin adorns the big daddy
No whammy…just so bloody jammy..lucky plucky Paddy
Clearly can still be a really silly billy
But don’t let it fester..won’t pester
Fiesta to siesta…the jester of Ronda
He denies its lies...this guy’s got a prize wil*y
Sixty years young…still well hung
Between his thighs..behind his flies
He does surmise..the size of an anaconda
Famous for an old bridge over a ruddy ridge
Flocks in the tourist mist..tall tales
But what a shock..never ever fails
To be now.. somehow beer a clock
My sneaky cheeky buddy..
Lovely locks…you “silver fox”
Anyhow have a corking trip…run amok..
Let rip….aficianado bravado…wind in your sails
Blissed yesteryear gist..bucket list scale
And we’re not talking about the stale
Fuddy duddy.. austere que*r valley
That in comparison pales…& hails from Wales (Rhondda)
p.s does tickle me that.. already in a ickle bit of a pickle.. you drain another jar in Spain …no shame..a thirst you can’t tame…that ha ha…not being fickle..R-onda (red honda) is also my car’s name …
but this government MANDATE
from Harris County is unnecessary,
unconstitutional, and unAmerican.
It’s an unprecedented overreach
which looks more like a communist dictatorship
than a free Republic.
And here in Texas
We believe
That people have to make
Their own decisions
What’s that?
Drunk driving should be okay?
Driving without seat belts
Or insurance should be okay?
What is wrong with you people
Requiring people to wear a mask
Is not the same thing at all
It is communism socialism fascism
Liberalism nanny state run amok
And we will not stand by it
At this point,
I see it as nothing more than politics.
Governor Abbott announces a trajectory
to start reopening Texas and Harris County,
which never even utilized its $60 MILLION
pop up hospital at NRG, I
mplements a mandate
for face masks on 4 million people.
The other counties to do it are Dallas, Bexar, and Travis.
These are the 3 most liberal counties in the state of Texas.
Coincidence?
I don’t think so.
They are all filled with godless liberals,
Gays and anti-Christians and democrats
Who hate America
And hate TEXAS
I believe we’ve seen
the worst of this war.
What?
There has been a record breaking
Increase in covid cases?
Just more fake news
Everything is fine
Here is Texas
Cough cough cough
And we’re closer to victory
than we’ve ever been.
Let’s keep doing our part
to be conscious of others
when we’re out
and make sure to hold
government accountable, always
But don’t wear a mask
If you do
We will pull you over
Because you are probably
A criminal type
Wearing a mask
To protect yourself
From the non-existent
China flu
And we don’t want your kind
Living and polluting
Our great Texas state
Cough cough cough
You have to ask your self
Are you tired of living in a dictatorship yet?
This is what happens when people go crazy
and get tested.
1. They said the meeting point
between your traits and swagger
has dislocated
and your newly acquired awful image
is beyond reversal.
But hey! I do not fall for obscurantism
on your honor, my senses are on sentry duty
even when peers run amok cos of you.
loving you has become my leisure vade mecum
so mister, wherever you are broken
I’d love to be your plaster.
Chorus
A huge joke you are,
yet a major in my mind
a decay rejected by the vultures
yet I love you still
even when you throw me down,
I’ll understand it’s who you are
I’ll fall with my hands intact
to shield you from probably falling with me.
2. It is true that your identity
is so bloated to the point those who envy you
are suitable targets to miserable mockers.
Your score hits no one’s pass mark
and your partial current's charm
is a shibboleth of attraction.
it’s not a lie that your deeds
flummoxes matured eyes
downplaying the hope of their acceptance
and a repellant to their minds,
yet I billow in this madness to long for your touch.
Chorus
A huge joke you are,
yet a major in my mind
a decay rejected by the vultures
yet I love you still
even when you throw me down,
I’ll understand it’s who you are
I’ll fall with my hands intact
to shield you from probably falling with me.
3. Not a slacker, just a being
who correctly, no one recommends
yet acts arrogant and foolish
despite been in a one-man’s domain
one rare good encounter
and you expect me to amortize with my own bed.
I am very wrong to be dismayed
b’cos you’re a well known jerk.
Stop this folly I self acclaimed
but you’re already a peppery paste
and a locust I leave my cotton unprotected to.
Chorus x 3
A huge joke you are,
yet a major in my mind
a decay rejected by the vultures
yet I love you still
even when you throw me down,
I’ll understand it’s who you are
I’ll fall with my hands intact
to shield you from probably falling with me.
I've had an 'out of body' experience
So you can't blame me for what I did
My alter ego Oscar perpetrated the crime
To do such a thing I'm too timid
I'm totally innocent of this heinous act
Must have been devoid of all morals
Listen I still do have a few of them left
With that you surely can't quarrel
This heinous act of stealing a kiss
Had crossed my mind a few times
But being the timid soul that I am
Never thought of crossing that line
So I'm not guilty, pleaded nothing wrong
It was Oscar my mischievous friend
Who tends to run amok once in a while
And I'm always having to defend
