Europe was frozen in a tide of hate
The genius Jew was being persecuted
Bound to the intransigence of fate
His violin played the tunes they executed
Now it was time to think as they electrocuted
The hopes of young people in the dawn of their history
Whose own stories would have so much mystery

Down in the baker’s the story ran around
Hitler was marching to a frenzied tune
He bruised the flowers underneath the ground
And told them works of genius had no boon
While the bridal pair planned their honeymoon
On country roads, a visit to the town
Where they would see wonders and a family found

The day of the wedding dawned so fair
It would seem creation began again
Every single person going there
Wore the best they could, the men
With dark serge suits, and a fountain pen
For Granddad to write to his daughter
Who lived across three thousand miles of water

The wedding Nora had lived for all her life
Now like fate, could be too late to cancel
Nothing would please her more than being a wife
No longer a woman her relatives liked to spancel
They went the evening before to the quiet chancel
Made their vows in private for each other
Far away, war’s declaration on a brother.

His thoughts were far away this harvest morning
The corncrake singing in the flowery ditch
Struck into his heart like a heavy warning
That life was choked with love, so rich
A fantasy dove-tailing in augured pitch
Be faithful to me, the bird sang, my husband
I never want to wear another’s riband

She wore the oyster dress her sister gave her
It was soft and crumpled like a clotted cream
Her veil was raised when he kissed her
And she thought she was fainting from the dream
What could matter now, but what could seem
His handsome face, his hair so fine and black
There wasn’t one feature where he lacked

Her face was lovely as a golden flower
Her dress, a simple thing with fine kick-pleat
It lay like wisps of cloud upon her tower
Where beauty, youth and kindness all could meet
Such tiny pearls slid on her throat so neat
Their hour of tortured chastity was over
Profusion, perfection, they were like gods in clover.

Dear Hearer

Do you think your okay? do you have a need unknown to even you? does the
world close in on you and do you feel like it's falling all around you? I mustn't let
you see me cry for you, I must turn away so you wont hear my tear drops fall, or
see the pain in my eyes and feel the ache in my heart. You've heard all the
stories that are told everyday, all the make believe and fantasies, everything you
want to hear but not what you must. God forbid that I should think thier was
something I could do to block you from this cold, cruel hearted world. I used to
think I was self sufficient and I could make a difference in someone's life; but I
destroyed my own.

The greatest love story ever told or ever known to man, is that Christ Jesus loves
eternally. He became as unto man, yet without sin, He grew up in this world and
walked among men. Served His father above while serving men below,
performed the greatest service. He died for His! He gave His life for me that I
might live, and rose justified that I am bound in His eternity. The lost He came to
save and secure in Himself forever and ever and ever, a salvation unbound by
self and sin. He bore my blame and suffered just for me! Did He for you?

I wont' make it easy for you, I won't tell you everythings okay, I won't lie to you, I
won't tell you what you want to hear but only what you must. I'm busting out of
silence, God's grace is strongest, instead of taking I am giving and if it breaks
your heart, I only pray God mends it because I can't. When God touches you, I
know you won't run, turn or walk away, you won't be able too! You won't pretend
that everything's okay or that you have no need at all. God will be all you need, His
love will keep you strong, In Him you will abide and will have eternal rest. A
meaning to your life, and all because of Him...

Before almighty God, my saviour first of all, I am bowed and praying for thee; for
without Him you will not live!

In Christ alone, Mercy Vessel

Free

Dancing shades across the sea,
past and present visions we see.
In joy, in delight, in pure and sublime,
in He are we.

Dissispated heros and obliterated dreams,
replaced by the untouchable One.
Ended journeys have been here and gone.

Divided thoughts are no more,
impossible do's and don'ts of man.
Probable cause and possiblity decending down.

Decisions must we make,
let us go to the Word and find sweet relief.
Angered, never!
Simple is life concluded in us.

Death hath no more reign,
life in us is ours and true.
Undried tears and wet pillows,
all we see is weeping willows.

Decisions in us thus to be guided,
directed are we.
A path before us laid out in love,
and shined upon from our father above.

Daring winds only now blow,
past and presently owned.
Through this life we travel on,
with our beloved, tomorrow is already here.

Dancing stars and amazing grace,
a perfectly faced painting.
No blotches to cover or smears to smooth,
just look and see.

Definate freedom coming ever nearer,
the only way laid out before us.
Soon to be in glory, just waiting.

Devested thoughts,
impure imagination He'll wash away.
How long?
Only one to whom we belong.

Darkness before us, blacker than night,
 falling all around us.
No light thus to see, without the Devine and only,
perfect One we love.

Dutchess' and kings are we,
no darkness ought be in us.
Kicking out on spreaded wings,
we'll fly away on wings of God's love.

Dare to make a stand for the One who died for us,
who gave His all to deliver us from ourselves,
just and righteous,
He lives forever.

Doubt has no place to call home,
though it comes and goes.
Our Saviour is the cross we know,
He's the One who is risen.

Dancing moon and shining sun,
forbear not each new day.
It's a loss that can never be,
while we wait at Jesus' bay.

I Am Me

He went away,
She was alone,
You came into the picture;
Because she chose you.

A new life was good,
Then change came,
And there I was in a frame;
Uplifted, upheld.

First I was unaware,
I was just a child,
A slave became I;
The pain was real.

You over looked,
As always you did not care,
I was scared;
Felt so alone.

Choices had to be made,
But what road would I take?
So unsure, broken, taken;
No time to waste.

He came along,
Took me in,
You hated him;
I hated you.

Didn’t know I could,
Handle it on my own,
Didn’t know I was stronger;
Than “ do as I’m told “

Forced to be.
Who I never wanted to be,
He brought out in me a strength;
Renewed, happiness is real.

You could just die,
I wont let you ruin me,
I’m going to be;
More than I knew I could be.

You will see,
Away from you,
A part from pain;
I am me!

This brokeness inside will heal,
Their wont be anymore pain,
That tragedy of my past;
The tears, the pain, hurt and fear.

He saw through them all,
He didn’t let me fall,
He reminded me of who I am;
When you didn’t care.

I was scared,
Felt threatened,
Full of regret;
But he seen me.

He wont forsake me in my weakness,
His love is written on my heart,
I’m going to be over you;
The hate will fade.

I will be stronger,
My heart will beat longer,
I have the rest of my life;
I’m going to be me!

You can’t take my future,
Or draw the curtains anymore,
No more ball and chain;
I am free.

I have pulled the plug,
Down the drain you go,
I’m seeing the world through new eyes;
The sun is shining again.

I’m not scared anymore,
I’m not afraid to reach out,
A voice in the wilderness;
Crying out was I.

He had an ear,
He heard me,
When no one else could;
He saw Me!

My Dear Ones

My Dear Ones,

     You say you want something to call your very own, something that is yours,
I ask, " Is not your family Yours? ". Don't think of owning material things, in time
they'll pass away and change from one to another. You must set your heart upon
heavenly things, things that in Christ, are everything! They'll never grow old, pass
away or leave you alone; but rather will grow sweeter and more precious day by
day: until the day they become eternal in The Lord.

You ought not think of yourself in such a selfish way, let not the rotteness of your
heart have it's way with you. Rather desire that God's will is done in your life, let
Him have His way with thee and know that His will is perfect.. It is You I love, it is
YOU I own as my very own, no matter that others own you too: the fact is that I
own you as my sister and I love you through Christ deeper than you can fathom.

Keep not your mind so set and clinched in anger or fear, let it go, the grass only
appears to be greener, but is rather burnt beyond recognition. Be still, my dear
ones, and wait! As God says, " Patience is a virtue! " Trust Him to fulfill your life
here and to it's fullest it shall be. Your in your prime and time seems to stand
still, but just wait and dont throw it away. Let it ripen, let it grow, let it blossom and
let it bloom. When your time to go has come, He will show you the way! Know that
I love you and will stay with you in the heart while here on earth but I pray that you
will forever be in God's!

                                                                     Your humbled Sister,

Dead Silence

You live in the same house, yet worlds apart,
conflicting interests rise without warning,
and you clash as if it were the first time.

You never talk anymore, it's as if you ignore one another,
passing the other by without even a second glance,
and you never look back.

Why wont you change this, and make an effort to be closer?
why do you just walk on by, when you see the other in pain?
or stop to say, " I love you! ".

Your skies are two different shades of blue,
your both standing in the rain, it's not who did waht,
but rather, who will admit, " It was I ".

Are you not tired of fighting, tired of clashing?
do you not feel as if your going to break in two?
can you not see that your world is a better place together?

It seems that neither of you try,
you just drive that wedge a little deeper,
don't stand against each other, but for one another.

I never hear you say " I love You " as often as you should,
I watch you spend less and less time together as a family,
don't forsake such a treasure.

Don't make a stand and turn away before due time,
point things out in love, instead of watching them fall apart,
your hearts should quake and tears threaten, don't lose it.

Instead of making the same mistake twice,
make an effort to make none at all,
you shouldn't doubt one anothers love.

Desire that the other knows your love is true,
just like you do, keep them in your heart,
and forget not what you are together.

Why must you break apart, and follow after your own hearts,
when your hearts are decietful above all things,
your hearts can live on forever together as one!

Bet You Didn'T Know

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW
BEST OF TIMES WITH YOU HONEY

AS WE LAID TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE LISTENING TO THE RAIN
YOU TOOK MY HAND, I TRUSTED YOU THOUGH I THOUGHT YOU WERE
INSANE
THEN YOU ASKED IF I WOULD JOIN YOU, NAKED IN THE STORM
THERE WE STOOD ON YOUR FRONT STEPS, OH HOW YOU KEPT ME WARM
THIS MOMENT I WILL NEVER FORGET

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW

THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE, WAS OUR WEEK TOGETHER
THOSE HOURS MAKING LOVE, THE DAYS WE SPENT IN ECSTASY,
YOU WRAPPED YOUR LOVE AROUND ME;
I WOULD HAVE STAYED WITH YOU FOREVER
IF YOU HAD ONLY ASKED ME

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW

IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND CHANGE WHAT WAS TO BE
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU A CHILD, A LITTLE ROSEMARIE
THIS MAY SOUND KIND OF STRANGE TO YOU;
WE HAVE CHILDREN OF OUR OWN
BUT IF I COULD GIVE APART OF ME, SHE WOULD MAKE FOR US A HOME
FOR ONCE I PRAYED TO BE BLESSED, PLEASE MAKE THIS ONE A POSITIVE
TEST

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW

WE WORKED TOGETHER EVERY DAY AND MADE LOVE MANY NIGHTS
THE CAROUSEL, INDIAN JOKES AND OUR SILLY FIGHTS
ST. AUGUSTINE, THE BUGGY RIDE, THE KISS BEHIND THE CANNON
YOUR SHOES ON WRONG, I STOLE THE SOAP, LUNCHES IN YOUR VAN
CHINESE FOOD, WEATHER ON THE 8’S, HAIRDRYER IN THE BACKROOM
THE YARD SALE, OUR MINI BREAKS, AFTERNOON TREATS IN BED
ALL THIS AND SO MUCH MORE, I TREASURE EVERY MINUTE
I’M HONORED YOU ARE IN MY LIFE AND “ALIVE” BECAUSE YOU’RE IN IT

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW

FROM NOW THROUGH INFINITY, I LOVE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY
HEART

If I Know What Love Is It's Because of You

IF I KNOW WHAT LOVE IS,
IT’S BECAUSE OF YOU

THE DAY WE MET I CAN’T FORGET, YOUR SMILE AND GRATITUDE
FOR DID I KNOW WHAT WAS TO COME, YOU CHANGED MY ATTITUDE
I LOOKED AT YOU LIKE EVERYONE BUT NOTICED YOU COULDN’T SEE
WAY BEFORE YOU CAME MY WAY, I WANTED YOU FOR ME

AS TIME WENT ON YOU TOUCHED MY HEART STEP BY STEP EACH DAY
I WASN’T EASY TO CONVINCE, BUT YOU ALWAYS HAD A WAY
YOU WOULD SMILE WHEN I WAS NEAR; I KNEW I CAUGHT YOUR EYE
YOU GAVE ME SUCH A HAPPY HEART, I FELT LIKE I COULD FLY

THE ONLY WISH I EVER HAD, WAS TO FIND TRUE LOVE
UNTIL THIS TIME IT’S BEEN SO HARD, FOR ME TO RISE ABOVE

  I HAVE SO MUCH TO THANK YOU FOR; I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START
BUT LET’S BEGIN LIKE WE ALWAYS DO, BY TALKING HEART TO HEART

AT FIRST I COULDN’T LOOK AT YOU, I WAS SCARED THAT YOU WOULD SEE
FOR IF YOU LOOKED INTO MY EYES, YOU MIGHT SEE THE REAL ME

YOU HAD A WAY ABOUT YOU, I WANTED SO MUCH TO LEARN
YOU TOOK ME BY THE HAND AND SAID, HONEY....IT’S YOUR TURN

I DIDN’T KNOW WHERE YOU WERE TAKING ME, THOUGH IT WAS QUITE
CLEAR
THE DAY YOU WALKED INTO MY LIFE, IT’S YOU I WANTED TO BE NEAR

WE WALKED TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE, DAYS TURNED INTO YEARS
AS TIME WENT ON, YOU WON MY HEART AND TOOK AWAY MY FEARS

WE HAVE THIS SPECIAL “SOULMATE” LOVE THAT TIME CAN’T TAKE AWAY
SO I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE YOUR HAND FOREVER, ONLY IF I MAY

YOUR TOUCH IS MY THERAPY; THE TRUTH IS IN YOUR EYES
YOU WILL FOREVER HAVE MY HEART, AND THIS I CAN’T DENY

LOVE FOREVER, ROSEMARIE

These Falling Tears

Unexplainable pain swells in my eyes, tears go unnoticed running down my face,
pooling together into a tide of emotions. Unleashed anger threatens to break out
in a mad rush to explode, but my steady stream of tears distinguishes it's only
flame. Standing in this ocean of misery it's like I will drown, but O' the Truth
triumphs strong and True; leaving no room for doubt. Often, I am quite blind and I
can hardly see. Then, in my sight, I see only You as You shine within me.

Tears that go undiscovered may be hid from mans view, but are noticed every
one by You. I can't give up, no matter the trials I face. I can't, turn away, no matter
the pain I know. Enduring unto, the near end, I am Fading more and more each
day knowing that You are all of me. My heart cannot break in two when Your the
whole of it. Though haunted by pain and anger, I'm embraced in You, ' Precious
One' , where I'll forever rest.

Just what love can I compare? Take over me, be more in me and make me more
of You. Turn from me my desires, cleanse me and purify me, so I will be no
more. Just to cease to be, is all the desire I desire in me. I see so dimly through
these falling tears, but the brightest star still shines and no tear can ever dim it's
light. This terrain is rough and mountains are sure to come, but I'm climbing with
Your grace... These falling tears shall cease, and I shall cease!

Ticking Away

Here on the wall hangs a clock, many see it as it is and avoid the whispers it
emits as it ticks. It seems to shape our lives, add design and order to our
everyday pace, and all the while- it's ticking away...

Time is flying and passing us by without hendrence, without delay. Slipping
through our fingers like water and sand, sifting through our lives and fading
moments away. We are always breathing what could be, our last breath.

We close our eyes and a new century begins, we blink and the next moment
appears. Our everyday now spends eternity in the past, tomorrow is unknown
and now is all we have. We look past the fact that death and life are only a breath
away.

We wake from our slumber in the night, to find the sun ascending up into the sky
and the moon descending down as night becomes day. We set a pace we are
accustomed too, not allowing room for the unexpected, leaving it all for the
shadow of time to consume.

We do not know what may come, what may go, or what may stay. We are not
promised a tomorrow, but we know we have now, let us run this race before us to
the glory of our Lord and win eternity.

Outside of time, there is only eternity, and forever it shall be. We cannot out run
time and our lives, by it, should not be consumed. Trust in The Lord with all thy
heart and thou shalt be saved- The clock on the wall, is ticking away!
