It seems to shape our lives, add design and order to our everyday pace, and all the while- it's ticking away... Time is flying and passing us by without hendrence, without delay. Slipping through our fingers like water and sand, sifting through our lives and fading moments away. We are always breathing what could be, our last breath. We close our eyes and a new century begins, we blink and the next moment appears. Our everyday now spends eternity in the past, tomorrow is unknown and now is all we have. We look past the fact that death and life are only a breath away. We wake from our slumber in the night, to find the sun ascending up into the sky and the moon descending down as night becomes day. We set a pace we are accustomed too, not allowing room for the unexpected, leaving it all for the shadow of time to consume. We do not know what may come, what may go, or what may stay. We are not promised a tomorrow, but we know we have now, let us run this race before us to the glory of our Lord and win eternity. Outside of time, there is only eternity, and forever it shall be. We cannot out run time and our lives, by it, should not be consumed. Trust in The Lord with all thy heart and thou shalt be saved- The clock on the wall, is ticking away!
