It's about time we talk of ruins.
So, let us talk, for you never know,
How long ears of hope will remain receptive.
Your lips are missing, and your kisses fall,
Like ripe plums and tint my confession,
Like coffee stains with smell of rust.
Looking back, dreams had stories,
About laughters blooming in dews on trembling grass,
With roots growing into layers of blue skies.
That dark sweater you began knitting,
Lies lifeless by a woollen ball,
Like buried half of a rainbow.
My greys are silvery now, and my smile
Looks like a scar, but my heart
Keeps shredding dead skins.
Footprints covered by caddish shadows
Of hubristic tongues,
Never to be retraced, and
The wish to carry your whispers beyond life,
Scavenged by beaks of time,
Is nothing but a piece of
History's torn chorion.
Entangled in my pensive repentance,
Memory of a girl (assuming),
Whose playful steps ruefully erased
Even before she was assisted into the world,
Stares back from an obsolete painting.
I sense blood seething in my veins,
But with no ill-will.
If only i could stop this hour from passing away,
And touch life one more time,
Gently and wisely, perhaps sweet palpitations
Would be heard knocking from within.
Lying in the heap of fallen bricks
Of dilapidated castle of Eros,
Where, once upon a time,
Our romance was folktale for angels and fairies,
I'm supposed to be bleeding the high-noon sun
To feed yesterday's vampiric fleas.
My body no longer lives on bread and grains,
But on tears and prayers, and
Keeps on living, surprising the undertaker and
my foes,
Who begin to think
I am here to stay indefinitely.
So, I labour to hasten my swan song
To gladden those who want to witness my exit.
The yarn with which
I began weaving a flag,
Has been sold to brothels of politics,
Where patriotism is only a slang
In perorations of capricious pimps.
My nights are haunted by ghosts
Of betrayed slogans
I once coined on fisting graffiti.
Standing amidst graves of words
Spoken inconspicuously,
I see soldiers placing putrid shocks and
Ugly boots
On books strewn across the floor
Of my old school's library
Which is now a fortified barrack.
But when I see tombs sleeping like babies,
In quietness of a cemetery,
I beg you -
Don't let me die without a wound, and
Even if it is in pretensive nostalgia,
Bury me with bloodstained kiss.
Pre-chorus #2: You turned out to be so mean…you were so heartless… (you
make me feel like nothin’…make me feel like someone…somethin’ – your words
pierced me like a pin on the floor)
I’m not haunted by your callous night…don’t pick a fight (with me…we were
innocent like a newborn infant)
Our friendship oath is pure and full of reverence –
Then, all of the sudden, you make my heart thump with bewilderment
Our love was genuine before you discarded it with revilement…we need to seek
repentance
You owe me – pay off your debts now…how I loathe your resentment!
Chorus: Ahhhh….Stop being a tease…
Ahhhh….Being a tease…(my heart broke into two)
Ahhhh….Here’s a wound to mend
Ahhhh….Please, put my mind at ease
Ahhhh….You don’t see me, nearing my end…
Ahhhh….Nearing my end…(you’re left without a clue)
Pre-chorus: I thought your grass was green…I’m hopeless… (Oh funny, I
thought you were a good person…I was there for you through thick and thin –
you do not love me anymore)
I’m through with you...you…tonight…I long for God’s light (to shed on me…we
were in content & we were pleasant)
You turned out to be so mean…you were so heartless… (you make me feel like
nothin’…make me feel like someone…somethin’ – your words pierced me like a
pin on the floor)
I’m not haunted by your callous night…don’t pick a fight (with me…we were
innocent like a newborn infant)
Chorus: Ahhhh….Stop being a tease…
Ahhhh….Being a tease…(my heart broke into two)
Ahhhh….Here’s a wound to mend
Ahhhh….Please, put my mind at ease
Ahhhh….You don’t see me, nearing my end…
Ahhhh….Nearing my end…(you’re left without a clue)
Give me an excuse or a reason
To overcome these waves of emotions
Friends come and go like season to season
Dealing with vile clashing commotions
We landed on a dead end –
falling victim to regret!
I don’t mean to offend…
Bu we must pay up emotional debt
Our friendship oath is pure and full of reverence…we must accept that we all
need help, going through this circumstance – (we met in a odd place out of the
blue)
Then, all of the sudden, you make my heart thump with bewilderment
Our love was genuine before you casted it away with cold-blooded malice and
discontent…we need to seek repentance (I got to really talk some sense into
you)
You owe me – pay off your debts now…how I loathe your resentment!
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God,
And the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God
The Angels worshipped Jesus
By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him.
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together
Jesus born of Virgin Mary which is a unique
And his name is ‘Immanuel’ which means ‘God with us’
Jesus is honored the same as the Father
Jesus received honor and glory from the Father
Jesus is our only mediator between God and ourselves
Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Good Sheppard
And the Way, the Truth and the Life
He is the true vine, the Resurrection
And the First and the Last
God Chose Jesus Christ to show many miracles, wonders and signs
He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth
He is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world
He performed thousands of miracles
The Holy Spirit bears witness of Jesus Christ
The Prophets bear witness of Jesus Christ
The disciples bear witness of Jesus Christ
Jesus is the author and perfector of our faith
Jesus is the Apostle and High Priest of our confession
He came to preach the kingdom of God
He came to testify to the truth
He came to set us free from the Law
He came to die and destroy Satan's power
He came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets
Jesus Christ came into the world to be a Light in the world.
He came to seek the lost and to save the lost.
He came to serve and to give His life as a ransom
He came into the world to call sinners to repentance.
He came to leave us an example to follow in His steps
He came into the world to Judge the world
He came into the world as a demonstration of God's Love.
He came to redeem us from the curse of the law and to fulfill the righteousness of the law.
The Name of Jesus is above every Name
In the name of Jesus every knee should bow
And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Salvation is to be found only through Jesus Christ
He is coming soon with the clouds
Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him
And all peoples on earth will mourn because of him
He will come again to Judge the Living and the Dead.
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
In the twilight of my melancholy existence, love savors its bravery, like a vulture allergic to the suspicious aspects of ephemeral glamour, in a final macabre choreography.
On the edge of the precipice of my dramatic choices, my sacrifices reveal the artifices of their curses, but also the selfishness of their spiritual benefits in the face of the imposture of the supposed crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The eloquence of my silence allowed my innocence to resist the violence of arrogance.
The tyranny of hegemony and the xenophobia of foreigners breed racial savagery and imperialist barbarism, while Western supremacy is transformed into a burlesque comedy trivializing negrophobia.
Suffering generates sentences, but sometimes repentance opens the way to independence, so that insolence can never turn into condescension.
Between the medals and the funerals, between the reunions and the reprisals, battles grip the rudder of my destiny, with a range of tortures.
My emotions oscillate between devotion to justice and the promotion of disbelief, urgently seeking remission of my transgressions, before the purification of the flames of hell plunges my divine spark into the furnaces of illumination.
The liberation of my ambitions contributed to the strengthening of my convictions, so that my determination unleashed the full extent of my potential.
My distance from dementia is minimal, even if the angel of death exempts me for the moment from the penances of the eternal abyss, my blasphemies sow the seeds of a new hope.
The history of my people is the memory of its victories and the grimoire of its disappointments,
Despite the decline of the pharaohs, the savagery of slavery and the barbarity of colonization, she taught me saving lessons so that my Africanness could flourish throughout the Earth.
In the permanent search for truth and sincerity, I aspire to freedom, equality and fraternity,
To a serenity, far from the vanities that humanity loves to adulate to forget its fragilities.
Between my feelings and their punishments, stands the sanctuary of the last judgment, their compliments obscure the lights of my cosmic atom.
In the quarrels of my past, the aftereffects persist, recalling the rebellious periods of my tormented soul.
I will never trust human beings, even if immortal love challenges my conscience.
Resolutions
Repentance of things past and present, and anticipated misdoings shall be of utmost importance. I shall be more open and vulnerable, being more willing to “Be Wrong”.
Evils that are both subtle and also blatant shall be exposed, fought against, and prayed about. I shall determine that my voice be heard more by both God in prayer, and by my fellow man.
Salvation of the human race is not a given, but we must seek powers higher than our own. It shall be my intent to further awareness that without Christ “We” are lost, and when left to our own devices, we will never be found.
Options shall be my pathway to channels unknown before, but presently golden opportunities. Unacceptable behavior and destructive forces should not be left alone, because they’ve always been that way, and “because we’ve always done it that way”.
Lucky shall not be any dream of mine, but I with the Almighty shall prosper and assist many. The harder I work, and the more I pray, and the kinder I become, the luckier I get.
Until everyone knows, I shall consider it my duty to tell them that they are loved by God. The knowledge of God and His love for us changes everything.
Teachable is what I have always wanted to be, and the future me shall be no less.
The wisdom that comes from God is teachable and affords us the ability To go beyond being understood, and opens our hearts to understand.
Immovable shall be the word for the values that must never perish, and that I forever cherish. Descending from a generation of “Absolutes”, and pushed onto a bandwagon of “Situation Ethics”, I shall continue with values that do not change like the wind.
Onward and upward I shall go, more bolder, ever hopeful, unselfish, and never looking back. Regardless of the destruction and pain that I see, there is a world of promise just ahead.
Never giving up, in, or out; never doubting truth; never allowing evil to persist without a fight. I will continue utilizing the scales of solid truth that shall outlast the fading vapors of evil.
Solutions to mankind’s problems were gifted to every generation, and I too shall assist for the good. You and I are gifts on loan by God Almighty to our generation, and we must use them to make our world a haven of love and peace.

"Steps to peace with God."***
The beginning to having peace with God, is to realize God loves you. John 3:16 and wants you to have abundant life John 10:10. All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God according to Romans 3:23. We are earning our sinful wages and they will result in our death according to Romans 6:23. It ail because our sinful nature separate us from a Holy God.
We need to realize we cannot come to God on our own terms Proverbs 14:12. Doing things our own way will ultimately lead to our own spiritual death. And no amount of righteous deeds will pave our way into heaven Titus 3:5. There is only one way to God and that is on his terms.
There is only one way to bridge the gap between us and God and that is through his Son, Jesus Christ Romans 5:8. "Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No ones comes to the Father, but through me." John 14:6. 1st Corinthians 15:3-4 explains according to the Scriptures Jesus Christ was buried and rose again on the third day.
There is only one way to God and each one of us has to make our own decision, nobody else can make it for us! "We must Jesus Christ as Lord and invite him into our lives." Romans 10:9. If we do receive Him and believe on his name we can become his children John 1:12.
Here's how we can receive Jesus Christ: 1) Admit your need that you are a sinner, 2) Be willing to turn from your sins by repentance 3) Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, 4) Through prayer you need to invite him into your life as your savior.
How to pray
"Dear Lord Jesus,
I know I am a sinner, and I ask You for your forgiveness.
I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead.
I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart
and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Savior."
In Your Name,
Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 Describes how you have been saved by faith and not by works. 1 John 5:12-13 If you have the Son you have life, and if you don't you don't have it. If you have honestly prayed and believe in your heart and your life. You have become saved and passed from death unto everlasting life

They say to be broken is to believe your nothing
They say to be broken is to believe you can't do something
They say to be broken your heart is shattered
They say to be broken you focus only on disaster
They say to be broken you feel you can't be repaired
They say to be broken you feel everybody can't compare
To stay broken you feel god has abandoned you when need him most
To stay broken you feel your faith and hope in society is lost
To stay broken you feel your heart will forever be filled within a dark void
To stay broken you feel the cold shoulders and stares as everyone turns away from you to avoid
To stay broken you feel alone and the world is out to get you
To stay broken you feel like there's no way out and you can't get through
I fear the almighty for his wrath and anger is powerful to destroy all nations
I fear the hands of god for he can destroy your very seed and all generations
I fear the power of god cause I'm going through a storm and he can change everything but struggles and sorrow is all that'll remain
I fear the eyes of the almighty for he sees all but does nothing to pull me out of this pain
I fear the ears of the almighty for he hears my cries but I feel like his abandoned child
I fear the understanding of god for some decisions he makes is hard to comprehend and a cruel world still acts out and wild
To not see his work at hand with our eyes makes it hard to believe sometimes
To not see whether if he loves me makes it harder to set my soul at ease
To not see change happen overnight makes me think I'm bound to face these hard times
To not see whether if my work and devotion from before was he ever pleased
He's not pleased at all for your wicked ways robbed from the poor
He's not pleased at all but this is karma at it's finest at your door
He's not please at all for your wicked ways killed your very flock you lived upon
He's not please at all but repentance is still at hand if you let go of your wicked ways and carry on
Being humble and know the life you lived was full of lies and sin
Being able to acknowledge that you can give back to those you stole
Being righteous letting him in and let the light cast the darkness out into the open
Being able to know his wrath is only because you are wicked but putting him in your heart will make you whole
God’s love is not a secret after all
His compassion never ceases to reign
granting eternal life midst mercy’s call
while supplying wondrous heavenly gain.
Along the Saviour’s love, surely divine
marked by pardon, always ready indeed
His forgiveness of sovereign design
brings repentance as heart from guilt is freed.
As the love of the Lord constantly glows
His faithfulness exudes radiant grace
manifesting abundant blessing-flows
that are for sharing against selfish brace.
Never a secret, since obviously bright
God’s love does shine well for mankind’s delight.
God’s love does shine well for mankind’s delight
expressing His goodness while bringing hope
vanquishing despair and gloom of sin-blight
with joy around reconciliation scope.
Exposing perfect care to the fullest
love from the Creator reaches each soul
drawing everyone to His blessings’ nest
through His gentle touch for fellowship goal.
Persistent to work for redemption bliss
love of the Almighty offers best gift
sure salvation from damnation’s abyss
paid by His sacrifice against hell’s rift.
God’s love, marked by longsuffering, so dear
reverberates sweet music to my ear.
Reverberates sweet music to my ear
is the genuine love bestowed by the Lord
melodious with kindness-message that’s clear
along generosity-practice chord.
That’s charity propped upon wisdom theme
building brethren for transformation leap
helping each one progress along love’s stream
as faith in the Saviour strengthens His sheep.
So may I pray for such love in my heart
to enclose me against greed, lust, and pride
conquering covetousness’ grievous dart
humbling myself before the supreme Guide.
This I declare, gratefully standing tall
God’s love* is not a secret after all.
*1John 4:9-10 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

He saved my life, bid me "Repent"
My sins then on His cross were sent
I could not hide before His eyes
No way to pay, the cost too high
A Righteous Judge, though sinner I
"I knew Him not", my alibi
He owed me not one bloody cent
But on my debt, His blood was spent
I could not pay the heavy cost
Broken, hopeless, lonely...lost
In His light, my darkened soul
Washed in His blood, He paid my toll
Bridging the divide for me
I was blind, He made me see
He is the Way,
To Victory
He Is the King
A throne to rule
The debt of sin
He paid in full
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because He does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. ~ 2 Peter 3:9
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. ~ Proverbs 28:13 NKJV
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that He will forgive your sins. ~ Acts 3:19
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
~ Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”
~ Colossians 2:14 (KJV)
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
~ Revelation 5:9 (KJV)
Hoping you will save me
Hoping you will be my baby
Wishing you a farewell this time
Wishing you a hello in its prime
Giving you a break from now on
You are busy from dusk to dawn,
Living life to the fullest of your ability
Living life to the fullest so abundantly
Sometimes, I hope you will find
Happiness in your lonely mind
Sometimes, I wish you will go with me
And not leave me in the dust of eternity
Sometimes, I wake up next to no one
I welcome the sun as it shines upon
You and I...you and I...you and I
Have had our fun; that, I can’t deny
You and I have had our fun in the moonshine
If you don’t mind, hoping you’ll be mine
Someone got to save me, save me
Hoping I’ll be rescued and set free
Wishing you a farewell as I wave my hand back and forth behind the fence
Wishing you out of your shell and be brave beyond the pain of mere repentance
Giving you a break from now on
You are busy from dusk to dawn,
Living life to the fullest of your ability
Living life to the fullest so abundantly
Sometimes, I hope you will find
Happiness in your lonely mind
Sometimes, I wish you will go with me
And not leave me in the dust of eternity
Sometimes, I wake up next to no one
I welcome the sun as it shines upon
You and I...you and I...you and I
Have had our fun; that, I can’t deny
You and I have had our fun in the sunshine
If you don’t mind, wishing you were mine
Someone got to save me forevermore
Hoping you will save me from feeling sore
Wishing you could be happier than a joyous, happy-go-lucky camper
Finally, you and I had our share of serenity - the more the merrier
Liberty has a way with words...
It separates birds from their herds
And brings them together again
Still got me wondering how you been...
Cuz you and I have had our fun in the sun
Cuz you and I have had our fun as it’s just begun
Cuz you and I have had our fun in the sun
As long as you stop acting like a irksome son of a gun
Cuz you and I have had our fun with your arms in mine
Wish you were hopeful as the sunshine
Shimmer away the darkness from the moonshine
We need to watch the moonlit sky as the twinkling stars align...
That’s when we had fun...
Let the day begin as we sing the blues
Silent wars has just begun...
Sometimes, we will win or we will lose
