She should have been Hera, goddess queen of heaven, the sister-wife of
Zeus, king of the gods; she would have caught him one Friday night tipping
Out while she sleeps to visit one of his plumy wives and over 100 relations.
She would have said, “Sit down Zeus; let me inform you about the laws of
Property settlement and child support in heaven with a concrete poem.”

She would have straightened up Aphrodite, goddess of love and lust.
Especially when Aphrodite was caught red-handed making love to
Her son, Ares, the God of war, she probably would have said, “Now look
Here woman, quit messing with my son and creating all this rumblings in
Heaven with the gods.” I could see some Lanturne poems floating

She would have acted as the sister of Demeter, goddess of fertility,
Agriculture, and harvest, a sister of Zeus. Because she would have
Blessed women with children who need them, and also farmers
With great harvest and crops to feed their families and sustain the
People across the land, by waving a haiku poem in her healing hands

She would have screamed as the sister of Hermes, the crooked cattle-rustling
God; son of Zeus and Maia, who stole his brother, Apollo’s cows, then
Lied, and swore before Zeus, their father, “That even if I knew who stole
Apollo’s cattle, I would not even accept a reward for finding the thief.”
She would have gave her crooked brother, and son of Zeus, a flying senryu

She would have been with Athena, the virgin goddess of wisdom, reason, and
Heroic endeavors; the daughter of Zeus, and Titan goddess of wise counsel
Métis, especially when Athena appeared onto Swift-footed demigod,
Achilles, and told him, “Sheathe your sword and defeat Agamemnon, the
Greek king with words of wisdom.” I could see some wise epigram poems

She was probably counseled by Apollo, her brother, god of music, healing, and
Poetry; the son of Zeus and the Titan goddess Leto. Because she has cared
For the sick in hospital emergency rooms, and has also stimulated us for years
With her poetic muse. She has counseled many along the way and has calmed
Many storms with loving charm. “Hail my sister in Christ—Karen O’Leary!”

Happy birthday angel and wishing you many more for years to come!

The Lords Prayer

Our father who art in heaven

Forgetting the son and his holy sacrament
Wandering in a maze, looking for atonement
Disavowing God, we bow to evil temptations
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Hallowed be thy name

We constantly profane the Kings monicker
Rebuking displays regarding the creator
Disbelieving in the immaculate conception
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Thy kingdom come thy will be done

Freewill creatures ignoring the warnings
Hastily striding toward the end of mornings
He has set the time for earth’s annihilation
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

On earth as it is in heaven

Adam and Eve the first created beings
Creation immoral from the very beginning
Inviting sin into their perfect habitation
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Give us this day our daily bread

Refusing to eat from the table of life
Dining on lies, as we wallow in strife
Children dying from spiritual malnutrition
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

The world was cleansed by the great flood
Human’s given hope, by a sacrifice of blood
Unable to forgive we await a fiery termination
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

Willing walking the path of unrighteousness
Passing the point where we can seek forgiveness
Time has run out for this sinful congregation
The son has returned destroying creation

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever amen

The Seventh Son

This is your new world
A new age of cooperation for change
Of the hovel's life.
A growth managed not by seven nations
But twenty chosen friends
Marginalizing thos who have no arms
To declare a nightmare
On the dreams
Of children sweating
In straw beds at center of the world.
A world where the invisible seventh son sleeps.

So our president
Of the free world speaks from a podium
Where G-7 is now G-20
And cannot understand why
Mexico and Afghanistan
Is at war with this new century
Pitting country
Against individual currency
In the market of survival.
Too narrow this table
Of the fortunate few in democracy.

O give me a voice
I am the seven son whose time
For slow unveils is past
Whose power shakes the kingdoms like a patch of grass
While they deny the things I know
The gift I wasd born with in me to show
My other consciousness
Beyond material glow.
And your might be new
But I was here before
And long ago.

Hero Or Not

A hero is not a man who has done great things but a man who has overcome great trials

For a man who does great things seeks glory for himself, therefore
Will not share in his knowledge

But a man who over comes great trials unknowingly teaches the glory of our Lord God, and
his son Jesus Christ
And will knowing as well as unknowingly
Teach others the knowledge
He has gained through
The trials God the Father
And his Son Jesus Christ
Have guided him through

So do not seek glory for yourself

But Show God’s glory through your actions and his guidance
For though you may walk through life blind
God will be your eyes and never let you fall
Amen.
