Gentle, these hues of cerise, indigo
Feelings blended with stirrings of pine trees,
Silent winds, trembling light will softly glow,
Silhouettes so kind flowing in the breeze.
Feelings blended with stirrings of pine trees,
Wistful moods, rousing fires with nervous wings
Silhouettes so kind flowing in the breeze.
Just delighted by the joy this gust brings.
Wistful moods, rousing fires with nervous wings
Smiling from the soul, such gentle belief
Just delighted by the joy this gust brings.
Forests whisper to the mind seized by grief
Smiling from the soul, such gentle belief
Doomed to feel like the pensive storm, so strong
Forests whisper to the mind seized by grief
Little mercies moving lives with bright song
Doomed to feel like the pensive storm, so strong
Glimpses of truth in worship from God’s friends
Little mercies moving lives with bright song
This is love on which our bounty depends
Glimpses of truth in worship from God’s friends
Muses brought to life by blessings from Him
This is love on which our bounty depends
Beyond this subtle light, like a soft hymn
Muses brought to life by blessings from Him
Silent winds, trembling light will softly glow,
Beyond this subtle light, like a soft hymn
Gentle, these hues of cerise, indigo

By Poet "Oh yes, 100% human here. No AI for me."
Come let me tell you a story,
how writers once wrote.
They wrote from their loving hearts,
telling stories in different styles.
Some were rhymes or funny limericks,
verse was a favorite along with a tanka.
I find acrostic to be fun,
but taking more thought and time.
Today this new thing called AI,
is the new kid on the block.
AI has no loving heart to write with,
yet many readers have been blinded.
I put much thought and reflection,
into each poem for my readers.
A true writer writes because they love to,
also writing for their many readers.
Under the seamless sapphire dome,
overturned with the sparkling sky,
my mind morphs instantly
into an ornate vase of blooming vale,
carved out of rhythmic contours
by the cheerfully cascading essence,
flowing through the bounty of blossom
in the current of earnest zeal.
Harbored happily in the shining shore
of the boundless sea of life,
a lone pebble I relentlessly roll
with the timeless tide of time,
caressed by the successive surge
of the incessant ecstasy waves,
spreading on me the embellishment,
ornamented by the pearls of rapture.
Mesmerized by the celestial show in the sky,
performed by the countless stars of joy,
I sail with soulful innate tranquility
in the river of consciousness,
on an unending inner voyage
to the summoning sea of serenity,
where in the leitmotif of heavenly love
I immerse my enticed being.
When the dark cloud of gloom is adrift
over my mental landscape, the sordid shadows,
shaped by the dissonance of disturbing times,
configure the pattern of roiling turmoil,
a pensive pilgrim concealed within me
gets a shelter in God’s benign benevolence,
bestowed with the best blessing of bliss
from the cornucopia of His divine grace.

Here I stand Lord, with not much to give..
A shameful sinner, a heart that's pensive.
Lord, here I am down on my knees..
An iniquitous soul to appease.
Lord, here dies my reprehensible heart.
I didn't deserve you from the start.
The Lord appeared and took my hand!
"Child, I love you don't you understand?"
I bowed down my weary head..
Tears fell as I heard what he said.
The Lord gathered me in his loving embrace.
At that moment, I felt very safe.
"My child, I died on the cross for all mankind.."
I, found this inconceivable in my mind.
He showed me His nailed peiced hands and feet.
I knelt down, feeling every aching heartbeat.
The Lord knelt down next to me!
"I love you child, now don't you see?"
With His gentle radiant smile it was then I knew..
That His death on the cross was for me and for you.
I now percieve that He died for our every sin.
That through Him, we are forgiven.
morose
sleepless in bed
a grieving poet
his raw emotions
flooding
blank pages
in the dead of twilight
c a l c u l a t i n g
the weight of his grief
paralyzed
by sudden loneliness
his moribund four-legged companion
of a decade and change
couldn't be saved
succumbing to cancer
euthanized
a huge loss
he loved that dog
more than he ever did
most humans
his thoughts
intermittently wandering
toward a particular memory -
a fun game of fetch
at the park with "Lucky" -
his tired eyes
finally flutter shut
heartfelt send-off
unfinished
pen still trapped
between his ink-stained fingers
elegy to be continued...
in the infancy of daybreak
he will ensure
his fellow mourners
know just how much
his beloved "Lucky"
meant to him
Ecological Colonization -
"the action by a plant or animal of establishing itself in an area."
Each spring the pine trees become quite distraught
considering it a mere childish ploy
that neighb'ring maple trees without much thought
must litter the ground with their silly toys.
The willful whirly birds with tensity
find life each fall equally distressing
since pine needles have a propensity
for clutter by untidy undressing.
The hybrid elms propose a postulate
attempting proof that those who are living
with a roommate's rude failure to placate
must learn the pensive art of forgiving.
The plan was to establish parity
between the two trees, the maple and pine,
by having each tree speak apology
putting request for pardon on the line.
Sadly the prose from the trees went south bound
when a pedantic oak cast its acorns
like aspersions upon their common ground
and the gum shed its sap on the hawthorns.
"...all loved things that vanish or that die;
Return to us in some sweet By and By ! (Anonymous)
When leaves grow rainbow colors all things take on a new hue;
and when the wild winds waltz and dance in the forests and my
garden,
and the grass and petals are wet with rain,
with mornings of gauzy dew and a sky sadly pensive,
when bees still buzz seeking some growing sweet thing,
and up above birds are southward bound. . . it is Fall!
I love the crimson leaves the best and in books I press,
so that on a freezing winter day when I open a book they fall,
and all the trees now blush a scarlet red flame of sun.
Fall, is God folding his hands as he pauses in his dream, of
his next summer of crystal mazes beautiful from all this
decay,
oh, quick trees put on your coats and flowers hide away.
"... all will throb again; and then the ... bee,
upon the ear will drone with drowsy glee." (Anonymous)

I am the master
of my fate,
I am the captain
of my soul,
Shackled and bound
naught pensive mood,
Errant thy mind
unique ahold,
Gift naught against
thy solitude,
Further addressed
words oft betold,
Thine wounds convey
said blood doth shed,
Thine consequence
freedom commit,
Inscribed in blood
their conceits fed,
Thy testament
thee naught submit,
Thy body broke
thy skin be bruised,
Thy dogs licked wounds
thy name tainted,
Yet, albeit,
chose naught be used,
Nor to be
manipulated,
Annals of time
should fortune find,
Sorted soul
of true conviction,
Should paths be crossed
be thee unkind,
Thank the gods
thy valediction.

relating to the eyelids.
Vanishing souls lies in death's pastures
Fleeting joy, incurious in my surroundings
Shades of green glistening in glory
An unpredictable breath that barely measures
A destiny that lies and vanishes through the Death Valley
A heart's main glee
Shines peaceably... passing above a wave of sparkling envy
Bliss sinks in my marrow
Pensive solitude,
Splitting it into a rejoicing vibe
Joyous in its company...we could have a blissful sleepover until
tomorrow
Together we'll make a strengthening converse
Piety fitting in these periling times
Wandering over vales, evanescent life screwing my infancy
A jocund soul departs from a burden--too cherished in disobedient lies
Childish features blurring my uncertain future
Incessant in my trespasses
I draw near through deathly shadows
Moping in ceaseless torment
Roaring as a monsoon in abstract movement
Vacant in thought...wealth filling in our evanescent humility
Dodging arrows of inevitable death
Bound to track us down,
Chopping down the Weeping Willow tree
Driven mad in knotting triumph
Hoarsely placing us in a shady asylum
Numbed by flustering anxiety
Cursing down this greedy society
Whirling us back to
Evanescent pastures
I'm dependent in this unordinary place
Though it leaves me with only disgrace
Discontent by the isolated misfortune
Vacant in thought...wealth filling in our evanescent humility
Dodging arrows of inevitable death
Bound to track us down,
Fogging our interest of society,
Doom crafting our fate...soon we'll be too late
Whirling us back to
Evanescent pastures
Denying our repents out of revenge
Unsuitable to reconstruct chastening renewal
Superb for a
tranquilizing solitude
