Swan Song

I have thought, said this before !!!
It is time to let go, close that door !!!
Reminisce no longer, think of Her no more !!!
All the evidence leads to one conclusion !!!
I have been living these years in an illusion !!!
Could it be ?, the evidence is just confusion !!!
I do not want to open my eyes,
wake up, have to accept, realize
I have been living in a world of lies
hoping, once again, she’d be my prize.
All my beautiful dreams seem to be jaded
pieces of a tapestry, who’s images have faded,
to undiscernible flakes of time before this eye,
as the years have imperceptibly drifted on by.
In the end, will my own words, I hear ?
Will I pay heed ?, let go without any fear
that my last great love will no longer be near ?

Morse code in my ear…that click-clicking-ticking deep down in my canal, even after I cleaned out my ears; it started after my Mother passed. It never seems to stop for very long. One day, I looked up the long and short clicks…my Lord! It was a message that actually made sense. Translated from Morse, it said; “Mamma, Harry, We watch over you; love you; watch…message; Harry.” Harry was my Mom’s only living brother, his daughter went across after that, in only a few weeks and after gamma surgery for a tumor, co-incidence? Now, years later I hear more frantic click-clicks; I must make note of as many as I can. So frantic are they.
Strange things do occur,
Natural phenomenon,
Often unexplained.
Mysteries unveiled;
Bringing changes to this world;
All life gets warnings.
Watching California fall to fire
Watching the smoke grow ever higher
People losing all
Watching as their homes fall
Tears in their eyes
Reflection of the burning skies
Breaks my heart
Communities torn apart
Voices filled with pain
Praying for rain
But it won't erase this stain
So proud to see
How truly strong one can be
They stand together to build their strength
Together they will go the length
Makes me proud
Saying that loud
In such a time of need
They pay heed
From so many comes a good deed
They help one another
Care for their brother
Give each other a lift
Such a gift
So many tears
Facing so many fears
Yet they stand tall
They are each other's wall
I'm proud of my home state
They will rise above this fate
I know im not wrong
This moment seems to last so long
But Californians will always stand strong
"The Devil's message"

I have made money a focal point
Ambition is all you'll chase
You'll work hard just to live soft
I'll weaken your faith, trusting is of no use.
Beliefs differ
I had divided the world into segments of religions.
The truth hidden, a wolf in sheep's clothing.
My deception lots will fall for.
Pleasure, Ignorance, Wealth,
They'd stand in your way of knowing the truth.
Is there anyone that won't pay heed to these desires?
The world is mine and will stay under my devilish grin.
For the saved ones
I have no power over.
But being in this world they're still in my cage.
Beware, the devil's message.

PEEK A BOOM!
Take a peek,
See what’s looming,
Populations booming,
Take a peek,
Things don’t seem sweet,
Soldiers marching, many feet,
Take a peek,
Priest holds communion cup,
Wardens locking prisoners up,
Take a Peek
Ferocious politics taking place,
Wars and leaders losing face,
Take a peek
What is happening today,
Bloodshed, dying, home far away,
Take a peek,
Mother in park with baby,
Bomb explodes, did they escape, maybe,
Take a peek,
What is the world doing,
What on earth is brewing?
Take a peak
Oh don’t put on the news,
It gives me the blues!
Take a peek,
America, Russia, China and the rest,
Do your best,
Take a peek,
Collectively pinpoint
A similar viewpoint,
Take a peek,
Politicians and politics,
Are coming apart at the seams,
Take a peek,
Do they know what this means,
Take a peak,
Each player wants a piece
Of the pie,
Don’t pay heed to Armageddon been nigh,
Take a peek,
Takes one madman, the button is red,
Presses it and we are all dead!
Peak a boom!
I remember the good old days
When I was young and wild
With surging passion free;
Now I surrender the old ways,
Retreat to something mild
Stride with sure breath heavy;
Worry was not my sorry play
Yet time flies swift dear child
For fate cannot delay.
Once upon a time long ago,
I ventured boldly far
To find clear destiny;
Today my bones groan and creak slow
An aged and weary star
In struggling mutiny;
Sorry longings fumble to flow,
Passage in broken jar,
Glimpse apt eternity.
My mirror image speaks plainly,
Truth can be so profound
To simply tell on me;
The journey here strings memories
For pictures come around
To show what used to be;
My friend, remember this story:
Beware of fate that grounds
Our common destiny!
The ancient wise men lived bravely
Life's vistas with fond smiles
In true humility;
Pay heed to deeper harmony,
Anchor purpose and style,
Live beyond tragedy;
Let dreams embrace your history,
Make your days here worthwhile,
Dance with life's mysteries.

O ye stars from far,
Out here we humankind are,
Where you’re I wonder.
I laid my heart bare
To starry strings from somewhere,
But blank did they stare.
We miss no one here,
Let me make this mighty clear:
Stay safe in your sphere.
Get rid of false pride,
You’re at no centre reside,
Stars from far decried.
No one’s help we need,
Advice nor ever your creed,
You better pay heed.
Do never enquire,
Nor for once say where you are,
Should ye wish t'go far.
And let me this share,
It’s time that you are aware,
No one here’s so rare,
No one at centre,
Stay within the safe tether
Of your mother star.
Ne’er reveal your place,
Life everywhere under stress
Looks for new address.

In my head there is
This evil, wicked plan
To take once was his
And show he is not a man.
This fool has nary a clue
On how to treat a lady.
His one chance he blew
By acting all shady.
This southern belle
Kicked him to the curb
And now he has his hell
Ne'er again my life he'll disturb.
A man is what I need
Not a little boy
So please pay heed.
A man to be my toy.
A man to be there
A man to help me
A man that will share
A man that will agree
A man that is a man
Who wants me for me
Who wants me in his clan
And from trouble not flee.
But he was not the man
For he was just a coward
That at trouble ran
When he was overpowered.
Glad he is gone
Glad he will not be
My new dawn
Nor the one for me.
Amid the mighty Arabian she was born and bred
A girl as delicate as the sweet smelling rose
For food she took the camel’s milk and choicest white bread
And a beauty mark she had at the base of her nose
A soft veil of satin covered her head
And amongst all the knights that at her command rose
She choose a mysterious stranger in her desert town
Long of limbs and tanned chocolate brown
Her love she conveyed with kohl black eyes
Her deep flowing desire by the tinniest of touch so warm
She did not pay heed to any well meaning advice
For in her life was raging a new storm
Their hearts were joined with divinely ties
It had no human body or a concrete form
She had never touched or kissed those lips
Nor felt his heart with those soft white fingertips
With him she left the desert on the night of no moon
True in her faith, love soaring ever so high
His merest touch and warm breath made her swoon
When he placed her amid his powerful thigh
And on they rode over every treacherous dune
When tired on the beautiful oasis sand did lie
A love that began through the language of the eyes
Became the legend for which many a lover dies

Met you when I least expected,
Breezed past me like a breath of fresh air.
At the time, I didn't pay heed;
Now I drown in despair.
Sent to me just before my dark times,
The light that preceded my darkness.
The light in my life, encompassed by hate—
For myself alone, I must state.
Elegant in stature, I continue to pursue.
I have to give praise where it is due.
Don't choose me.
Don't consider it.
I'll only bring sadness.
I'll only bring boredom.
I truly eclipse your character.
Hate for myself I must endure.
No choice in the matter; I'm simply a flaw.
Cursed by the standards of society,
Failed to comply with the criteria of the world.
Who am I to search for happiness?
Truly a troubled soul.
