July 24 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 15-18
Key Verse – Jeremiah 15:20 And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SAVIOUR AND DELIVERER
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from sins’ captivity
Thank You for Your grace of great bounty
So that I won’t languish in sin midst condemning iniquity
But to escape against curses of hell throughout eternity.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from worldliness’ affliction
Thank You for Your loving redemption
So that I won’t suffer in carnality’s persecution
But to rejoice in Your gift of eternal life by Your compassion.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from grief and mourning
Thank You for Your comfort against evil cunning
So that I won’t indulge in skepticism-gaining
But to seek refuge in Your fortress of strengthening.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from hard-heartedness
Thank You for Your rebuke against haughtiness
So that I won’t continue serving with gloom-filled heaviness
But to trust You earnestly toward steward’s faithfulness.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from selfishness-sanctuary
Thank You for Your example of sacrifice, leaving Your resplendent glory
So that I won’t wallow in despair of self-pity’s misery
But to obey You and receive instructions for jubilant victory.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from evil defilement
Thank You for Your readiness to enclose me with Your fulfillment
So that I won’t entertain carnal thoughts toward my detriment
But to abide in Your will for triumphant ministry-involvement.
Lord God, You are my Saviour and Deliverer from enemies’ devices
Thank You for Your truth against false doctrines’ voices
So that I won’t patronize worldly ordinances
But to cleave to You, thanking You with my praises.

He saved my life, bid me "Repent"
My sins then on His cross were sent
I could not hide before His eyes
No way to pay, the cost too high
A Righteous Judge, though sinner I
"I knew Him not", my alibi
He owed me not one bloody cent
But on my debt, His blood was spent
I could not pay the heavy cost
Broken, hopeless, lonely...lost
In His light, my darkened soul
Washed in His blood, He paid my toll
Bridging the divide for me
I was blind, He made me see
He is the Way,
To Victory
He Is the King
A throne to rule
The debt of sin
He paid in full
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because He does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. ~ 2 Peter 3:9
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. ~ Proverbs 28:13 NKJV
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that He will forgive your sins. ~ Acts 3:19
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
~ Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”
~ Colossians 2:14 (KJV)
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
~ Revelation 5:9 (KJV)

FAITH IN GOD WHO COMMANDS US
TO KEEP HIS ORDINANCES

We come near His presence by faith along His redemption seal
While confessing our sins He does reveal
Thus, we abide in His design of divine deal.

We follow His statutes by faith along paths of righteousness
While bringing our offerings out of His graciousness
Thus, we sacrifice with glad willingness.

We need His purification by faith for our spiritual rinsing
While forsaking our iniquities’ cursing

We seek His face by faith to purge us from any abomination

Along the blood road there are thousands of ponds.
Carved out by American bombs.
A futile attempt to blast communism
into the next millennium.
It'll take a hundred years to remove
unexploded ordinances.
Children mistake them for shiny toys.
Every day is black Christmas for children
who play along the blood road.
The metal from war doesn't go to waste.
The skin of bombs is made into skiffs.
That putter around the delta mist.
Some taking in round-eyed tourists...
Who're eager to see how a poor communist lives.
More often than not they'll be invited into a hut
provided a humble, heartfelt meal.
Sometimes by a widowed one-armed matriarch.
Today, the blood road is being devoured by jungle.
Natives still slave over rice paddies.
Just like they have for a thousand years.
And will for a thousand years more.
Some of the bomb ponds hold trapped fish
where villagers toss hopeful nets...
and who said war is good for nothing?
With sadness, that never ceased,
I watched your Father shot on live television.
I was living in Chicago and Elena, a baby
in my arms asleep.
Your Father, Robert had just won California
and “on to Chicago” was his mission.
Sirhan-Sirhan., anti-Isreal, pro-Palestinian ,
shot your father in the hotel’s kitchen, near dead.
I sat in Chicago, in tearful disbelief, and all I could
feel was profoundest grief!
Screaming crowds wept as deep crimson-
warm, blood seeped from your father’s head.
And here you are now with your lovely wife and
actress, Cheryl Hines, about to follow in your
Father’s footsteps!
Your voice may sound strange as you are
affected by spasmodic dysphonia.
I am just an extraordinary American because I
do not think one party is a religion whose
Ordinances must be obeyed and kept.

Thank you!

[7] Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
May, God return unto the hearts of man
We have been given access through Christ
Sadly, so many plea for his return
While, in blindness of we need to return
To show this new living spiritual being.
Loving all for just as I, was lost in deception.
Turn from these wicked ways
Through the promised inheritance Spirit
To reign, mold and purify within.
If we could please God in own works
Jesus death and all the gospel is vain.
May, God bring the Living Children of God
In Unity to show the love through
The spirit that draws them together.

Pleasantville
God sends cookies every day
The kind that have a crunch with walnuts
From the center of the universe
Buildings topple without sin in Pleasantville
They have their reasons
To rise up again to house clean thoughts
Long walks create tranquility produced at will
Everyone enjoys paying rent, making beds
Singing Beatles songs peppered with color
Not all things are black and white
Mornings share their structure with pretty birds of prey
In accordance with local ordinances of course
Making houses starts by removing fire
As unpleasant as they may seem
Pleasantville is still a swell place for mom and pop
Drinking tea on porches held up by the community
Perfect and lovely are the only words allowed
This is not just another cookie kind of town
—The Weight of Cannot—
I came to stay the falling, yet the hour
went on beneath the ordinances of fate;
my hands, made eloquent by love, had power
only to learn how powerless to wait.
I stood beside the vanishing, and knew
that presence hath no hands with which to stay;
I called the name; its warmth remained, yet through
that warmth, the beloved had already passed away.
My love reached shore; the beloved was sea,
and every strength I summoned sank from sight;
I asked Time for one mercy; memory
returned, and made remembrance ache with light.
The thing I could not change changed what I knew
of love: my hands grew still—and still reached you.
