     ~~Elena, Elena~~

Dances Salsa, Macarena and
the Bossa Nova, till Rio's dawn!
Elena and her love, Bebo, sway
as she is his adoring, dancing fawn.

Outside, the welcomed raindrops
bring a sweet coolness, to her
flushed, tanned cheeks.
That to the touch, have a loving,
velvet smoothness that men seek.

Ah, Elena and Bebo are anything
but mild or meek.
She dreams of Samba School each
night of the week!

To march and dance with outrageous
pizazz!
In the Caraval Parade, with
a sequins aflash.
Add her hypnotic brown eyes and
her flashing, purple and gold sash.

For Elena, life is her very own, colorful
and most musical toy.
You'll find her dancing through the
streets of Rio, teasing the hypnotized,
mesmerized Bebo.

Premium Member Whisperings of a Hostage

People from all nations running for Their Lives, Pursued by Hamas.
That day 1,200 were slaughtered.
International hostages died! Few live ones do remain.

I do not even know what day this is!
Nor month, or even, what year!
For I live each day within a clock.
Whose only sound ticks away endless, fear!

I have no mirror to see my young face,
Just locked in a room by mad barbarians,
Absent are they, of a trace of the human race .
My family, all my friends, taken from my life..
My treatment, hardly an ounce, humanitarian!

I assume I am probably still, just twenty four..
I was dragged in bloody violence from the “Nova
Concert for Peace” dance floor!
By inhumane, brutish men, who dragged me across
my country’s fertile fieds!
They hit and assaulted me, in a car because I fought,
and no, I would not yield!

I heard the screams of death, the gunshots, unbearable!
I hear them still, they shake the memories, so potent!
that the necrotic plant in my window sill, sways.!
No sun, no blue sky, do I see, not one friend to hug me?
Window boarded up, and slices of bread a day …are three!

Animals, so-called men, blindfold me, and use me for their
everyday, multiple times, I weep!
They try to make me cry each day, while I try to sleep.
But being an Israeli woman, a Sabra, with a strong will!
This in one pleasure they steal, u do my best, may they not fulfill!

I can only dream that your own country backs Israel!
I beg you to hear my voice, to please pray for me!
You have the free voice to back my country, to set me free.
I am a prisoner, a hostage, with no family, friends or choice.
Can you~yes, you~honor my Jewish voice?

Shalom~

Premium Member Gilbert's Cove Lighthouse

A square building called Gilbert's Cove Lighthouse,
built way back in 1904 high above the water;
it was home to a man, children and spouse.

The cove calm but it could get white-water,
the red beacon guided boats of all shapes;
keepers kept them from the underwater.

Often rain would crash down like thick white drapes,
the children would huddle in real dread;
for 50 years the family enjoyed dreamscapes.

It was a lighthouse- a home white and red,
in time, it fell to decay and boarded up;
a Nova Scotia lighthouse and homestead.

But, a historical group did a huge cleanup,
now, museum and tea room pick-me-up !

Port of Spain

Manifestations of your Gauzy Fantasies
Unravelling Bonds of Tangled, Mangled Destinies
Sun of Man Set His Right Eye on Me
Tenaciously Searing, Calculating
To Entrap Me, A Prisoner to His Needs
Inspired A Premedimated Deed did He
With Intent To Plant a Seed!

Stormed Wrecked and Invaded My Archipelago
Pirate Prowess, Sophomoric,
He Stared, I Jeered, Blotted Proviso Smeared
Drenched In Salted Sweet, Freshly Spring Showered Awhile Ago
Armpits Crying, Young Sun, I've Done No Wrong
No Shade to Evade the Soundless Seranade
As The Father, Not the Sun, Pearched In a Chariot
Cascaded, Paraded Crusade

Blazing Rays, No Mercy, No Refrain
Solar Purgatory, Solicited by the Solar Nova Hovering above Port-of Spain
Evaporated Senses, Smothered Disdain, Budding Foliage Scorched and Drained
Organically Syphoning Hydration Reserved for Lack of Rain

Senses Assunder, Lost in Wander
Drifting Sun Stroked, Begging Pardon, Parched and Punished In Port of Spain!

Till the End of Times

I have played drums
I have played Premier England
Right here in our land
I have played Tamar Drums
I have played talking drums
I have played conga
Yes I have played drums
With every drums come different feelings
The feelings that can only be explained in the spiritual realm
Yes I have used drumsticks
And of course I have broken drum sticks
No matter how expensive
Tovaste, Nova, Premier England
Yes I have used and dump drumsticks
And of course I have torn venoms
But then, I still remain a drummer
A drummer with passion

Like wise I have fallen in love
I have aimlessly been to the city of love
But I have fallen every time for the wrong person
Until I fell for you
And your love seems sweeter
Sweeter and better
Much more better than even Bver
Not complicated like Alpha Beta
Or tiring like SOH CAH TOA
But unlike drums
I want to be with you
And only you
I don't want to use and dump you
I don't want to tear your venom
Maybe not yet
I don't want to loose you
I don't want to break your heart
All I want to do is to love you
Love you passionately
Till the end of times

Life of the Imagination

Life Of The Imagination

Imagination has never had a bath or shower
It does not know of soap
Plays with itself for hours
Hanging from a rope
Hopes for handouts
There are no places it can’t go
In dirty crevasses in dark shadows
It takes chances with glass and wire
Wine becomes expired in its mind
Meandering with tigers, gliding off of stars, where parsecs spark
Falls back into dark matter of inner space
Imagination visits here on Earth for merely seconds
Swings out to a nova blast without its nova cane
And again comes here to the home planet to drink square particles of rain
It named its first 10 children candy
None of them were sweet
The next 10 he called Mortimer
Bought them homes by buffer zones near Kansas
On Christmas it lays Easter eggs on pine needles
Pine trees are used as tooth picks in all seasons
At Thanksgiving it pitches forks
Imagination has no fear of anything accept divorce
It writes the laws in crayon while dancing through the canyons
There are fleeting moments that can never pass beyond its grasp
There are things in space and time that even chance can’t handle
Sometimes Imagination takes me places
I really don’t want to go, without my sandals on
He is my friend but wakes me up at midnight
Places pen and paper in my hand and makes me work
While he just sits there counting sheep and eating candy
Remembering they were his children
None of them were sweet
I wish sometimes imagination would fall right off the Earth
After all, he’s the one who calls it flat
For what that’s worth

Premium Member I COME RUN UNTO YOU-

When the qualms of life disperses negative destiny has me final when confusion and anxiety and displacement Corrals me I'm in tensely surrounded I'm Unbound as I stopped and stand and breathe and look up though my arms and hands in the air I realize that you never ever leave me and it's me who runs away so I find myself racing I come running unto you and I am amazed that you are ever still and as I'm running you're there with me too

I come run unto you
I come run unto you
I come running towards you
Though you've never left my side
~
I come run unto you
I come run unto you
I come running into heart-arms

In the Darkness sometimes The Light Within Me is rather dull and dim
Feels like I have no one to follow, hold onto lead me to guide me no one not a friend
Shackled to my story chained up in my circumstance just so happens and I'm not just standing restricted
While in the Darkness along with your wife and stutter lighting me flickers it no longer flutters
I am alive I am a light and I'm the Lamb
Was standing and walking not running my light the blazed and run unto the Great I AM

liken a lightening bolt nova blast now brilliant shines my light

I come run unto you
I come run unto you
I come running towards you
Though you've never left my side
~
I come run unto you
I come run unto you
I come running into heart-arms
I come run unto you

BEDTIME MAGIC

Sprawled under nightscape of galaxy bright
Tiny sequins pulse on blaze of luster,
A beaded stars nova bursts on flight
Into a full-blown montage, the lawns flicker

Reams of tales climb on visions lit by dappled view
While children’s breaths gleam of fantasy hayrides,
And fairies jut out from chapters to touch the hue
Yearning to blend into a ladder that divides

The seashore from a skyline blushing streams;
On one unmentionable lightness of firework glory
Tinseled rhinestones kindle hopes of angelic dreams,
Holding a cachet of flowered moon for bedtime story

Enchanted, their mother blows a peppermint kiss
Staring at gems waltzing high up on glittered air,
Threads of her locks meshed by twinkles of lullaby bliss
As graceful nebulae cuddle sweetened hours, ever fair

Rounding her infants, wonders of night magic sigh
Stars radiant dip into eyes; winking good night, goodbye!

Man was born to make things happen
the universe finally had enough
After expanding and exploding for eons
was time to get answers about some stuff
With no end in sight a resolution was needed
as the fireworks just wouldn’t stop
Space, light, and dust, kept repeating
even gravity sometimes went pop

So what better than human imagination
to put in place a plausible fix
With paradoxes spinning out of control
mans mind was chosen to mastermind tricks
One way or another we find solutions
insane chaos is never allowed
Deus ex machina, fills in blank spaces
and it works, but never say this aloud

So for now the universe is happy
in a man made oblivious state
Leaving us to our own devices
with the burden of explaining it’s fate
Of course stars continue to go nova
and that’s ok we ride along
Passing the buck to a creator
God picks up pieces, when things go wrong

The moral of this story may appear obscene
to make humanity the middleman of sense
But without us who else can ponder
an infinite void, and questions so immense
Oh ye of little faith, I see a God no doubt
perhaps different from the one you praise
Mine is evident through conscious perception
in plain sight, No! just slightly out of phase
