Here it is... gonna pour it all out
no holding back, better sit yourself down
be prepared, this is going to be so juicy
you'll be squirming and perspiring
and breathing heavily from all your outlets
okay, must pause for a bit
to wipe off my keyboard and my wee mousie
sorry... there... now, where was I?
Oh yes, I was starting to tell youse all
about the sex life of an armadillo
you see... no that wasn't it!!!
was going to tell you all about the
mysteries of life that I've discovered
in my many long years as a passionate
and a long time stud... uh student of nature
forgive me I get carried away at times
with my own countenance
had to destroy all the mirrors in the house!
was about to tell you about the *****(censored)
silly me eh... well going to feed my armadillo!
now did you enjoy that?
bet you're squirming!!!
Oh my goodness! Did you see that???
A mousie riding on the back of a cat
Guess these guys have kissed and made up
Heard mousey yell “Hey! Giddy-up!”
Great to see them getting on so well
Mousey's relieved, as you can tell
Wearing a big grin from ear to ear
Felix is enjoying it too, it appears
Remember this lesson from one time rivals
Don't need no conflicts for survival
It's a whole lot better to laugh and have fun
Than face extinction at the point of a gun
So what did you learn from this sweet wee tale?
Enjoy yourself and drink lots of ale
You'll see little mousies and cats at play
Instead of killings on TV each day!

One for the kiddies or kiddies at heart!
There's a bunch of furry animals
Running around our house
Cats and dogs and ferrets
And even a little mouse!
Now Mom and Dad aren't happy
With mousies running wild
But we love our cute little furry friends
They bring us lots of smiles!
Our mousie plays a pretty fine fiddle
That big folks cannot hear
Unaware of those real happy tunes
Dancing in their ears!
I've named him Happy Herbie
He brings me so much joy
It's hard to think he's really real
He seems like just a toy!
Don't think I want to ever grow up
And lose this special gift
Seeing things through little eyes
In a kiddies world I'm adrift

My nephew had a grey Mousie,
When he was a small boy.
He took it everywhere with him,
His precious mouse soft toy.
If Pete became upset would cry,
I want my Mousie now.
And with his thumb in his mouth,
With Mousie settled down.
This Mousie was a soft grey toy,
Given to nephew Pete.
When he was just a babe in arms,
No other could compete.
Pete loved his Mousie very much,
But due to wear and tear.
Mousie began to disappear,
But Pete he did not care.
And over years poor Mousie lost
His stuffing and was flat.
Yet Pete still carried it around,
A scrap of this and that.
Until the only piece of him,
Was just a little ear.
But to young Pete his Mousie was
His comfort, loved so dear.
Now Pete’s a man, but can recall,
When he was just a boy.
His favourite toy was Mousie,
That gave him so much joy.
