Surely time
will ease the pain.
This is the crap,
that can drive you insane.
Shot in the heart;
Remove the arrow.
What you hold today,

In these four walls;
I sit and stare.
I can feel betrayal;

You come off,
as if you belong on a throne.
How does a person,
Get to the point of no return?
If you make it thru;

A sexual power.
Human souls, sins of the flesh,
You devour.
When you become full;

IT WAS A SETUP
In the beginning the was word
And the word became flesh
It was a setup! When a virgin was with a child
And the little child shall lead them.

Untransformed minds mocked him,

Knowing not the power of the tongue

They should have bound his arms behind,
Instead they crossed him, drank from the cup of confusion.
Bones crossed grievously,
Flesh ripped and blood pouring like water
To conquer, heal and to save children of God, they miscounted

You work and work for years and years. You're always on the go.
You never take a minute off, you're too busy makin' dough.
Some day, you say, you'll have your fun when you're a millionaire.
Imagine all the fun you'll have in your old rockin' chair,
so enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself while you're still in the pink.
The years go by as quickly as you wink,
so enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Your heart of hearts, your dream of dreams your ravishing brunette
has left you now and she's become somebody else's pet.
Lay down that gun, don't try my friend to reach the great beyond.
You'll have more fun by reaching for a red-head or a blonde,

The years go by as quickly as you wink.

You love somebody very much, you'd like to set the date,
but money doesn't grow on trees so you decide to wait.
You're so afraid that you will bite off more than you can chew.
Don't be afraid, you won't have teeth when you reach ninety two,

You never visit nightclubs so you never get a dance.
You don't have time for silly things like moonlight and romance.

An Idiomatic Chicken Tale
Don’t count your chickens before they hatch,
you may bite off more than you can chew.
But if you do count, make sure you have
a bird in the hand rather than two in the bush.
When counting don’t put all of your eggs in one basket,
or you will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
Try not to let any hatched chickens escape because
they may try to cross the road.
Try to remember to count slowly because
slow and steady wins the race.
Someone else could count but for now
the ball is in your court.
If you decide to count you can’t do
it at the drop of a hat.
Fortunately, having to count will only
occur once in a blue moon.
If you don’t really want to count
remember, there are other fish in the sea.
You can always ask them to do it
and rain on their parade.
Whoever counts can’t slough off
they will have to go the whole nine yards.
If an error is made, don’t blame the process
because a poor workman blames his tools.
Someone who doesn’t understand what you
are doing may figure you are off your rocker
and not playing with a full deck. But I say
people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Always keep in mind that you have to break a few
eggs to make an omelet!

Pondering, we walk on pavements of summer days
Opening ourselves to the sun and its guiding rays
Neanderthals at heart we take the same path each day
Driven by our past we troddle on with sobering mainstay.
Every step propels us forward, ... take time to pray
Regardless of the outcome "belief will show the way"
Immigrant of earth keep walking even on a rainy day
No matter how old you are always remember to play !
Grass is never greener on the other side, so they say.

Pavement can be slick or smooth depending on your view
Abandon not your dreams, don't ask others what to do
Victory is hard work but don't take more than you can chew
Eliminate doubt and fear be brave but know your cue
Meander slowly round the curves, whistle when your blue
East West South North, where you go is really up to you !
Nod to the crowd but share your thoughts only with a few
Take a path that will lead you to the roses filled with dew.
