i’m going to paint a silly picture
as big and bold as big and bold can be
release the most flamboyant colors feeling free
and o what awesome dreams they’ll conjure
i’ll grab my biggest paintbrush
the one that shapes the biggest strokes
for folks i’ll paint a hundred thousand rainbows
and children’s laughter will overthrow their hush
i’ll pick the brightest hues of cheerful blue
to paint the sky its merriest joyful shade
all birds will want to fly and happily parade
while belting out their songs in praise for you

Every year I would hold up my daughter to the top of the Christmas tree
An angel she would place on top with a little light for all to see
My wife would decorate the tree with ornaments and tinsle
The branches would be so happy as if writing their on epistle
Our dogs would circle around and frolic
And all together it was very angelic
I miss those days when our family was one
Outside, snow at our feet against a low arcing sun
But I know that others family thrive
Which helps keep my memories alive
And even though I now have a different change in view
I wish the merriest of Christmases to all of you

In the warmest of seasons,
when the cheerless moon of a remote town
rises from beyond the fir and maple-covered hills,
in great suspense and silence,
a brief song is played by this guitar
with a few chords and numerous notes:
making up the merriest melody
sustained by a perfect and simple harmony...
I am the author and the composer,
expressing my feelings in an unusual norm,
regardless how the critics will judge it,
for words and music should have an effective form:
free of impurity, lively and up-beat,
something likable by every singer,
to make such a unique composition notable,
and be remembered by every mortal...
I play it to my oldest friend, a royal friend who listens
and seldom gets bored by the lively strokes of the strings;
melancholic moon, I like to see you smile for a change:
to be sad is evoking death itself when no bird sings,
and darkness shows its cadaverous, unmerciful face!
When fear is very real and perceptible in each sense,
life departs from us and evil spirits frantically dance;
melancholic moon, gaze down and lighten up your rage...
I am no genius or pretend to be,
and my humanness and wisdom are always
reflected by a justified action and a truthful word:
to draw the attention of the stubborn;
and playing a brief song with this guitar, elates me
and dissolves my grim look of loneliness,
to confidently get me through this lovely and eternal night,
but hesitant and murky moon, turn on that luminous light!

December came with Christmas beckoning at the door
He saw every house bright with many a lamp
And the whole streets illumined with colorful lights and star
But his tiny hut looked dismal n’ dark like a prison camp
One evening, on a leisurely walk from school
The boy saw a man selling colorful balloons
With the little penny tucked safely in his jacket of wool
He bought a balloon and headed straight to the lagoons
There as he sat on the sprawling silver sands
A strange idea had come upon his little head
Send a letter to God seeking help from his generous hands
Hoping Jesus would listen, he too being born as a poor kid
On a white paper he carefully scribbled these lines:
“Merciful God, look upon us, this unfortunate seven
Here, we die of hunger leading miserable lives
On this Christmas, send us a little cheer up from heaven”
He folded the paper and fastened it to the balloon
Nevertheless, he didn’t forget to put his full address
When the wind was strong, he let it fly over the lagoon
And watched it soar high with his earnest plea for redress
Days went by and the awaited Christmas Eve arrived
While the world splurged in all gaiety and merriment
The poor hut remained dull with all pleasures deprived
The helpless parents were lost in grim bafflement
Abruptly, there halted before their hut a Ferrari
A man, old and greying with a graceful smile
Alighted from the car and stood looking all cheery
Searching the boy, he had travelled many a mile
It was during one of his daily strolls around the lagoon
That the gentleman saw a balloon tangled on a willow tree
The white paper tied to it, he unfastened from the balloon
Unfolding it, he saw an innocent child’s earnest plea
The man so rich and kind was moved at heart,
He from his wealth decided to donate a large sum,
To support that family of seven so severely distraught,
And give them the merriest Christmas to be no more glum.
The little boy believed Jesus has answered his prayer,
Coming in the guise of a man, he has never before seen.
With rising delight, he beheld in the sky a luminous star.
It shone right over his head with a brilliant sheen.
I’ve never had a Christmas tree
Nor stockings filled with treats.
I’ve never gone to midnight mass
Nor hoped for Santa-meets.
I’ve never woken Christmas morn
With presents to unwrap
And no one in my household
Ever wore a stocking cap.
I’ve never eaten Christmas ham
Or fruitcake and to drink,
My sibs and I stirred rags for “eggnog”
In the basement sink.
But don’t feel bad for me because
I celebrated, too.
The holiday of Chanukah
Was what my family knew.
We had our presents and our foods
And candles every night,
With songs and family gathered ‘round,
Eight days of pure delight.
But still, today, I’d like to wish
Amid the bright displays,
To all my Christmas friends
The very merriest of days.
Yesternight, I dreamt of you and all our
together times. My soul swelled with the sincerest
love and lips parted in the merriest laughter,
In my fantasy, you spoke softly with
the lilt of lilac melodies... My heart picked up some
strange sussurating rhythms and a pleasurable pain
assaulted my semi-drowned senses ~ Incredible feeling this is!
Did we hold hands? Or is my imagination fraught
with frenzied desire? The day we first met in 'our'
garden behind your house brings back the sweetest
memories... I still hear and rejoice with the songs
of finches, bees and the billowy breeze. Then, there are
the myriad flowers I scent even today! Those
wildflowers you wove into a beautiful bouquet that
Spring evening? - I have them preserved - Yes, they tell
me the 'secrets' we shared and our promises of
'forever'... Emotion in my eyes as devotion cries in my saddest,
loneliest hour, I wish dreams came true! ~ my last coherent thought...
"Our sincerest laughter
With some pain is fraught;
Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought."
Percy Bysshe Shelly – To a Skylark
Man’s intrinsic apathy's negligence-justified frown
Is the actual defining substance of a mortal clown;
Who with hollowed prejudgments fellow men slays,
And likens to hallowed duty his thoughtless decays.
He is evil's meekest martyr by doom's onus bound,
The cold-blooded outlaw donning dark's lucid veils;
His the bounden call to trim unwary lives that thrive,
His a sworn charge to hit to halt sea's merriest sails.
They're hell's happiest saints of true devoted cadre,
Obstinate desperados who without real reason hate;
Theirs rare glories for wanton vitriol by meanest fate
Met on innocent casualties of villainy's vicious adder.
What grand gratification fills world's cruelest hearts
That sting undeserving souls in most delicate parts?
Why do allegedly feeling minds grow numbest to cry,
Whilst their pleading victims in iron malevolence die?
How can life’s most cognitive kind find sweet preys,
In other creatures alike in mien and all visible ways?
Get your enthusiasm back,
these have been lonely times...
some of us have cried in solitude;
we have lost the strength of our hack
looking for a substitute!
It should our merriest Christmas ever,
let's put garlands and lights in our trees:
let that big star make us Heaven-bound;
let's go around it and dance feeling its glee!
It should be the Season of the kindest deeds
to help the needy and those shedding tears;
kindness brings a smile to the saddest heart,
why be hostile to the unlucky ones?
I've walked in their shoes,
never seen a bright light:
my only comfort was Christ!
It should be our merriest Christmas around:
no broken hearts with shattered dreams,
no beggars with teary eyes,
no children without mothers;
only joyful faces that spread
the goodwill and the true meaning
of Christmas to all Humanity!
March is the first to arrive on the scene.
She sees Winter leaving and blows him a kiss,
And then she starts in to paint the world green.
Even though March has brought us such bliss,
Spring will get even better than this!
April comes next, summoning showers.
That rain falls refreshingly from skies above.
Soon we hear birds and smell fragrant flowers.
Nature's rebirth we are witnesses of
When April surrounds us with signs of God’s love.
Butterflies flutter and baby chicks hatch.
Sun gives more strength day by day.
Our next lovely lass has nary a match,
For she is the merriest, with the name May.
Be happy when she’s on her way!
June is the fourth and the last girl of spring,
Distinctive because she’s the one
To finish the season that makes our hearts sing.
Even then, her work in not done.
She ushers in Summer and welcomes new fun!

Happy Holidays
A grateful greeting
to you and yours.
The merriest of wishes…
I pray directly to the King,
in your honor,
this holiday
and
forever.
His mighty hand upon your life,
may He be all that you need.
Walking ever in the fire,
the ice of a still greater hell,
that heaven will be yours,
and all those you love.
Kneeling in His honor,
the King,
He was born,
The virgin, the manger,
The story, old… and new!
Merry Christmas…
as “Merry” I am,
ever to be happy.
The holiday is the
Birth of GOD!
Hail to the King!!!
Blessings on your life,
keep you ever in His family.
If you believe you are not,
it is only by choice…
Welcome…
God Bless,
And Merry Christ mas to You!
Amen
