What is that one purpose in life why am I here on this big blue spinning marble
Wherefore why for and what for am I a sentient being draped in consciousness

Quite possibly it will suffice to understand those questions prior to biting the dust
Before present turns bygones feeding worms from carbon one pastime remaining

Sex hugs rock and roll making hay while sun shines as long as causing no harm
Poetry scripting words emotions passionate meaning exploring reason and soul

Being a father husband friend lover and soulmate good virtuous ethically sound
Giving more than I will take leaving the planet a tad better than bad sad or dead

Maybe a role model with love kindness compassion boundaries care and advice
Yet this vison seems circular so Karma appears from the wheels of relevant living

No doubt Plato points to moving out from the shadows and meets up with Jung
Reflecting on merging opposites suggesting archetypes not unlike Tarot of cards

Nietzsche’s God has been killed will I have to revive him or her for that matter
Existentialists suggest existence before essence but what is essential foundation

Stones of wisdom golden mean spreading balance harmony a revolution perhaps
Return thirty silver pieces beg the Queen to give back stolen diamonds and gold

Actualize myself along the hierarchy of needs realize in the process that positive
Psychology understands that there are far fewer must haves than greedy wants

A porpoise can teach me that sometimes you swim on the surface yet will have
To submerge in an ocean of polluted destruction and with sharks in full view

From knowledge action may spring forward and thus I pin my hopes and dreams
On finding right questions searching for answers and that is my purpose in life

Over the Chill of Night

R-ising sun in the morning
E-liminates the moonlight;
Y-ou'll be bathed with warmth
N-ow that the beacon burns bright.
A-llow the dawn to break,
L-et it leave the twilight;
D-ay fourth January morn
O-bliterates the sad plight.

B-ehold the sky at noontime,
A-s the sun meets the zenith;
L-et him say sweet hello
T-o the clouds underneath.
A-s the dusk starts to appear,
Z-one of lamps is illuminate;
A-fternoon slowly fades,
R-ise of the moon is great.

E-venfall shows up again,
B-eginning to reign left and right;
R-ays from above will win
O-ver the chill of
N-ight.

Engaging The Senses - Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch, Taste

Sound

I walk with white a cane where valley life is breathing,
The water showers near the shop, soft, soothing,
Children’s laughter drifts from far, sweet and teasing,
While rickshaw horns crash loud like a storm seizing.

Smell

BBQ smoke and chai rise warm from stalls nearby,
Rain wakes the earth, and tea steam meets the sky,
Lily and jasmine bloom where flowers softly lie,
Their scent recalls her name I cannot let die.

Touch

My fingers read the world that eyes cannot see,
Silk on my palm moves slow as worms on a tree,
I shape the clay and feel each curve carefully,
So every hidden detail speaks to me.

Taste

I sit where coffee dreams were broken long ago,
Naan khatai with tea tastes like clouds in rain’s flow,
Cold tea has lost its warmth, like past tastes I know,
Yet this bazaar keeps all the days I won’t let go.

Sight

At my craft desk I build her face from touch and breath,
My inner sight sees clear beyond the night of death,
I mold the love I lost, defying silent death,
And hope one day she’ll see what my hands bequeath.

Premium Member Paradise

Perennials bloom around me; their fragrance permeates the air.

As I read a novel in the shade, my hammock sways.

Radiant is this garden spot, for the weather is always fair

And anytime that I look up, the ocean meets my gaze!

Downward from our lovely home is a beach where my family

Is able to enjoy themselves in water warm and clear.

Serenity is the major perk of our island property.

Embracing sunshine, sea, and sky, we’ve found paradise here!

Trust in the truth to set you free:
Health sculpts sure hope in that pure light,
Etch act as proof of play and spree.
Sketch your fine scope in visual sight,
Apt sacred woods where journey starts;
Choice moves dear soul in poignant feel,
Reach for grand good with mind and heart;
Each spark a whole that signs goodwill,
Dream within dream to wake at last.
Word in clear style can now attest,
Orbs in clear streams in mindful blast;
Opt charming smile as fate greets quest,
Dance deep delight love's honour code,
Sense meets insight where joy fits mode.

New heaven new earth

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

its and
and swan Where
Where soft more yellow floats
dying the crest
outspreads underneath
Spaciously high
swan's rests lily drifts
purple uncurls flecked fluttering
sun coral thick yellow where

golden dark warm gold where underneath
red low

"There is something beyond everything that meets the eye"- Quote by author
~~~~~
Can you imagine.....
You are not the body
You are the soul within
That's the reality of life here!
Can you imagine.....
Being filled with divine bliss
Ultimate, Eternal, Constant
That's the bliss of Salvation!
Can you imagine.....
A life of no death
A life where joy abounds
That's the life after salvation!
Can you imagine.....
A life of perfection
No problems, no fears, no tensions
That's life in world of souls!
On second thought....
Wouldn't it be so boring?
I am happy to living here
Never a dull moment here!
That is my feeling when things go well.....
But when miseries and strife abound
I cry before God to liberate me
Life here is not easy!
To the Man You Could Be
Another message sent
Another message left with no reply
You say you still love me
Is that really true or just another lie
I’ve tried so hard to figure you out
Spent so much time and energy on it
And yet still I’m filled with nothing but doubt
Some days you have everything to say
And others nothing at all
I try to take it day by day
And wait for you to call
But the longer I stay
The more pain I force myself to endure
Nothing about any of this is fair
Some give all, others give none
Are the feelings still there?
The ones you felt when we first begun
Are you still in love with me?
Or are we really done?
Do you remember the way things used to be?
Or are the memories completely gone?
I mean just tell me the truth
Where do we go from here?
Do you even want me to stick around?
Or would it better for you if I’d just disappear?
Here I stand tied up and bound
My own emotions are my worst enemy
Wondering if my heart can bare
The complete honestly
I so desperately long to hear
With all this uncertainty
My hear heart is filled with fear
There is no real right answer
And I feel the start of another tear
I turn to hide
Not wanting you to see
The pain I’ve buried inside
And I walk away knowing we’ve gotten nowhere
Maybe next time maybe another day another place
So for now we say goodbye
And again I begin to cry
Not really even knowing why
After all you’re just one guy
At least that’s all that meets the eye
But you are so much more than that to me
In my heart I see the man you long to be
I know this because…
That’s the man who fell in love with me!!!!!
A ride on thoughts
A ride on thoughts, where dreams entwine,
Amidst fields of gold, through time and space,
The mind’s own path, a journey divine,
With endless realms we dare to trace.
Amidst fields of gold, through time and space,
The whispers of a distant past,
With endless realms we dare to trace,
Our memories hold, our futures cast.
The whispers of a distant past,
Through silent woods, where shadows play,
Our memories hold, our futures cast,
In twilight’s glow, where night meets the day.
Through silent woods, where shadows play,
The mind’s own path, a journey fine,
In twilight’s glow, where night meets day,
A ride on thoughts, where dreams entwine.
