Water My Head

water my head
she water my
head with the
water of life
now I sing
like the birds
in the trees
of freedom
with the fruit
of love

water my head
she water my
head with the
water of love
now my soul
is pure more
like the waters
of redemption

water my head
she water my
head with the
water of peace
so every new day
I can't live with out
the natural joy
of life
were material wealth
is forbidden and case
away with it illusion

water my head
she water my
head with the
water of spirituality
now am sure
my life is not
for vanity
if not why this
shadows I fear
can't over shadow
my reflection in
spirit and soul

water my head
she water my
head with the
water of knowledge
now I grow in wisdom
every sun rise to
every tomorrow
now I can see the
colours in man made
illusion so clearly
in my time in reality

water my head
she water my
head with the
water that is
ever lasting
upon and in my head
cos my head
is heavy
and hot
life is simple
but not that easy
in this era
so I got much to think
too much to wonder
my head is full
but not
when she
water my head

Peasants of the Playbook

You’re peasants of the playbook
Yet you think you know the reason
For the failure of the team
That does the best it can this season

And, massing in the mews
You’ve raised the mewl to a mew
Questioning the mastery
Of a coach as good as two

By what method do you meter
The mettle of this man
He coaches and he councils
And he does the best he can

With material you’ve provided
He’s positioned at the mandrel
Where he hammers out their character
It’s more than you could handle

Your mantle flounces flutter
When subjected to such folly
Your seething is better served
If you’d support the coach, by golly

It’s then we’ll see the sextant
Guide the gridiron guild to glory
And add a happy chapter
To this teams’ historic story

For thousands of years, people have left material things behind upon their demise. We brought nothing into this world, and nothing is what we will take out. When we die, we rest from our labors, and our works follow us.
In a life time, one can achieve vast amounts of material wealth of all sorts.
We leave such wealth to our families, museums, universities, or our favorite charities.

Many others do not pursue or manage to obtain vast amounts of material wealth. Some reach their end having acquired reservoirs of experience, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

It is expected of us, and we find it easier in most cases, to transfer our material possessions. It may be more difficult to pass on to others our acquired possessions of spiritual fortunes. But transfers we most assuredly will make, often by default, by demonstrating what we love the most.

But the questions are:
Will we seek to leave behind the great Godly qualities of our character?
Will we thrive to share our colossal treasures of Christian principles?
Will we determine to distribute an abundance of eternal riches that will forever last? Or will we transfer a wealth of Godly wisdom that will not quickly pass?
Indeed, we must to all express, that life’s greatest quest is serving God and leaving behind our spiritual nest.
Indeed, we must release no less than our very best, before we depart to our eternal rest.

Beyond Physical

When a man loves like you, they see beyond the surface,
Beyond the physical appearance, the external facade.
They see the soul, the heart, the beauty within,
A love that transcends the fleeting nature of skin.

If they like what they see on you, it's just a disguise,
For a love that's shallow, and a heart that compromises.
But when the beauty fades, and the body shape changes too,
Their love will wane, and their hearts will pursue.

But a man who loves, loves with every fiber of his being,
He loves the unseen and the seen, the soul and the heart's keeping.
He cherishes the essence, the spirit, and the might,
A love that's not conditional, not based on sight.

A woman's worth is not measured by her physical frame,
Nor is her value determined by the wealth she can claim.
A woman who can be bought is not worth having, it's true,
For love that's genuine, can't be purchased, it's something we do.

Don't get into a relationship for material gain,
For that's not love, that's just a selfish game.
A relationship is what you build, what you invest,
With every tear, every laugh, every moment you've shared and blessed.

Cherish it, nurture it, and never compare,
For every love story is unique, and none is rare.
Put God in it, and let His love be the guide,
Accept the ups and downs, and let your love abide.

Respect the boundaries, and honor each other's space,
For love that's true, respects the heart's sacred place.
So don't settle for less, don't compromise your soul,
For love that's real, will make you whole.

In the end, it's not about the physical sight,
But about the love that shines, like a beacon in the night.
So hold dear to your heart, the one who loves you true,
And cherish every moment, with a love that shines through.

Relatives

In Jesus nails I doubt but
it doesn't make me less faithful
therefore
for a gram of material glory
I'm swapping
freshly delivered Virgin Mary's proclamations

just this morning
she confirmed to me
the time of broadcasting
even though she is pissed off
because of the leakage of one of her favorite messages
which says that for earning a seat in the first row next to the altar
you have to wear a proper hat
but
in christian spirit
she gave up of criminal prosecution
only thing she ever wanted is to give people God's word
and
she did it

to the threadbare knees and questions about working hours of the Lord
within TV schedule
the prime time was given

world became televised
one big cinema screen where
everyone is trying to plug in their own scenarios

yesterday God went on holidays
so
loosed from any common sense
public opinion was divided by two pieces of a modern thought
by one was spoken a shaved truth
how is possible to be promoted by having a child
from call girl to pillar of society
by second one was brought in question an honor of favorite croatian people's hole

F*** it

in accordance with a label of nation
which is highly ranked on global moral scales
our every national debate
regularly ends with polemics about
the crotch.

raise your two fingers one that
at least once in her life didn't lay down with a pig

Wings to fly

Imagination taking flight to the past,
I see her making equal lots of kites
To divide among us
In her motherly logic, no fuss,
And wearing on face some festive air
I recall she telling me, here’s your share.

Today I realize
The logic of that act so wise
Of yours, Mother--
How with a pinch of fairness and kindness
You had our life filled with sweetness.

Today I realize:
They were not just kites you’d given,
Given you had sky-full heaven,
Instead of kite thread,
You’d given wings to soar ahead,
Not material things,
But whole of joyful springs.

Reflections |23.01.2025| childhood, mother, remember

Poet’s note: On 14 Jan, a kite festival was celebrated in Gujarat. Seeing the winter sky filled with colourful kites, my mind took me to a long-lost childhood memory lane-- how mother organized things around a big family with limited income and yet depriving us with nothing worthwhile. How with few words she imparted unto us lessons of life to last a lifetime.

The Invisible Wall

‘Ossi’, what Western side likes them to call,
East returning complements with ‘pushy’,
No more stands there the brick-and-mortar wall,
Love’s lost still in old animosity.

The wall o’er a decade and half back fell,
Yet, an iron curtain still them divide,
Minds cannot meet over the wall of pride,
Hurt heart and prejudice can’t that gulf scale.

‘I’d rather a spouse from a foreign shore
‘Bring than one from behind iron curtain,’
Felt one from across the long secured door,
Deep and wide does divide decades of pain.

Here lingers a dislike, there disdain old,
What venom brethren nurse for each other!
An open war has turned into one cold,
Togetherness in search of fair tether!

‘Too hot’ for us these women from the West,
‘Hard to please, pushy, far too material,
‘Everything about them seems commercial,
‘From old world do we come and too modest’.

‘Too darn dense be these people from the East,
‘Lacking any a style whatsoever,
‘Forever on a bargain-hunting heist,
‘Let them savour their old odious flavour’.

Wall was felled to enable two-way flow,
Heads still finds it hard to communicate,
Bridges and trains, mutual dialogue to grow,
Yet, hard it is distanced hearts to placate.

Love and passion when at a premium come
In too short a period of years fifteen,
Old prejudices play a harder drum,
Not easy 'tis long-closed closets to clean.

World has its Kashmir, long-gulfed Koreas too,
And torn-apart people elsewhere a few,
A healer great, mighty teacher is time,
If not today, morrows may sing in rhyme.

The Berlin Wall came down some 15 years back on 9th November1989. But the iron curtain continues to divide the two people that history separated. Only two per cent of marriages every year are between the East and the West Berliners, which under normal conditions should have brought together one-third to half of the couples in a city its size. Yet, they are 12 times more likely to marry foreigners. After the wall fell, there came the euphoria only to die soon. A lingering dislike persists between the two sides. Yet, in all fairness 15 years is too short a period to mitigate the wounds inflicted by 60 years of separation. Time, let us hope, will prove a great healer that it is.

Premium Member Help the Duck

He has a stalker
Getting to the bottom of it,
who hurt the duck
Hint dabbing
probing for intelligence

Sent seedy
email to duck
Containing x rated material,
I am suspicious
 he might get hurt,
mad horrid
roaring sounds
With an awful
weird voice

Duck hell
He can
not sleep
Help
the little fellow,
we need to investigate probing
Keep filthy videos out

The duck
will never be the same
He is on valium
at the moment,
a vet
has been dispatched
By private helicopter
as we speak

He needed
to be treated for
Were do I start,
aggravated stress
brought on,
wait to you hear it
By that xrated video

Refusing to leave
the house
Scared he might
see that monster,
the video left
in his mind,
he knows now
what insanity is
he wont pass the door

The duck
ain't happy
Nearly blew
his mind,
ha ha ha
in stitches

You ain't seen
mad crazy duck
There aint no sunshine
bring it on
quack quack
He is gone
 quackers

Premium Member Dining Room of a Hoarder

Our pristine, prissy, upscale dining room was almost never used.
And now it can’t be used for eating, for it is slightly junked and abused.
Dining room table is so long, it started to almost immediately collect....
So many items, that who has inclination or time to carefully inspect?

At first it was just an art project, or a button or two,
But then it was stacks of magazines, and material red, white and blue.
Our junk drawer became two, and three, and four.
And now we just put a few things in boxes stacked on the floor.

Yesterday I found Great Auntie Leigh’s French powder puff.
My sister discovered her Christmas stockings and holiday ****.
There are boxes in here that were not here this summer.
We do not eat here anymore, probably can’t now. What a bummer.

We have a path to the table, but not to the fancy schmancy chairs.
I am slamming the door before my husband comes down the stairs.
He has the illusion this place is tidy and clean, waiting for company.
I am afraid if he saw it he would suggest dusting or cleaning to me.

I jump from the chair, and fall flat on my sad little hands.
Discover six inch ball made of six thousand and two rubber bands.
Well, that is where you are! My husband says, poking in his nose.
He hops over some chairs and grabs up a cornet, taking some blows.

Your junk is in here too! I say, accusing him, trying to have a fit.
The dining room has never been used this much. This I have to admit.
We can never eat in here again, he says plunking down a box.
What is he trying to get away with now? That conniving old fox!
