Little Jonny returns with a brand-new toy.
He’s back under the bleachers, this naughty little boy.
He’s got a cattle prod that he has named King Tut.
It’s fully charged and ready to zap someone in the butt.
He looks front to back and side to side.
He spots a plump quarter moon and smiles with pride.
It’s little Susie’s Mom as she sits and cheers.
Little Jonny gets ready, as if he’s throwing a spear.
Little Jonny takes aim and plunges it deep.
A quarter moon bullseye right between the cheeks.
He cries out in joy, this sure is fun!
She screams in pain and little Jonny runs.
The moral of this story is be mindful of your third eye.
When you sit in those bleachers be sure to get up high.
You never know when little Jonny shows up to take a peek.
Always pull your pants up and never show your cheeks.

Johnny played video games till his mouth was dry
He never glimpsed at the midday sun
Or turned his head to see the star lit sky
He would have seen a world for the taking
Just a couple steps outside
But he never played outside
He played every sport on a gaming console
Every sport he never tried
Maybe he saw the shots he could have scored
Through his dilated eyes
Through his bloodshot, tired eyes
His parents were as wealthy as could be
But life was spinning and they were dizzy
Maybe him and his father would have thrown a football
But life was just too busy
The law firm was just too busy
On parent teacher day at school
There was a limousine waiting after the bell
With a chauffeur to inquire
Whether Jonny was doing well
But he wasn't doing well
They found out about those b's and c's
So they tried to give him hell
Driving straight into the heights, straight into the ghetto
So he would know what could happen if he did not excell
But when he stuck his head out the window
He didn't mind the pungent smell
He saw kids his own age kicking a makeshift soccer ball
And that air conditioned lexus
Felt like a prison cell

Sworn to secrecy, she told me it had been a long time..
as we sat swinging in a hammock in the late day sun.
'What., are you sayin' you never did it?'
I thought what my mom would do if she caught me, and replied
'brought up different I guess'.
She leaned back into the netting, perhaps chewing on what I said..
half her face streaked in sunlight.
Suddenly aware of her leg touching mine. So warm...
My cotton red racing striped trunks from Sears, with a secret webbed key pocket..her faded OshKosh B'Gosh bibs she wore all summer except on Sundays.
(Sundays were saved for wearing that white & pink pleated Victorian get up she so detested; a gift from her Grandma bought from Macy's mail order catalog)
She ribbed me with her right elbow, as she jumped clear of our swing..
when her mom yelled 'time for supper Kat!' from the front porch.
But she turned back with that dangerous look I'd learned, leaned in close, and licked across all her teeth.
'Milk's colder and better ya know..
drunk straight from the carton.'
She ran inside letting the screen door go with a full slam..!
I thought about all the times we watched Jonny Quest at her house,
eatin' our Quisp or Kaboom with that milk..., and smiled.
I kept Kat's secret safe..,'til just now anyway.
dialogue
Archimedes slipped in the shower
Diogenes drowned in a barrel
Thor shook in his thunder
Ariadne lost her thread
Pinocchio had a broken nose
Rapunzel sported a wig
The Little Prince had no transport
Aladdin no fuel left in the lamp
Spinoza bereft of lenses to grind
Descartes left without doubt
Socrates no market place
Plato caved into shadows
Sleeping Beauty with insomnia
Cinderella barefoot forever
Little Suck-a-thumb had a thimble
Jonny looked into a looking glass
1984 was mere fantasy fiction
A Brave New World had courage
My Lord had run out of flies
The Never Ending Story stopped
What if the planet was flat and politicians told the truth
Jesus played Balderdash with Mohammed and Siddhartha
The rising sun set in the East by a pot of tarred rainbows
I would still love you to the moon and beyond my princess
Go to the end of the earth as long as you will hold my hand

Imagine your self
stuck in the situation
your husband a wife beater
three children no money
how do you escape
how do you make a life
for yourself your children
your future, you have a right
Too be safe
to be strong
to be free
nobody has the right
to own you
to attack you
to hurt you
you have a right to freedom
lifeline could
talk to people
find people
that are willing
to provide emergency accommodation
families investing could provide jobs
ten dollars per week fifty two thousand per year
investing year after year creating wealth
Employment provides the income
to feed your children
with money in your pocket
you can find a place to rent
from the foundation of your home
you can improve your education
beginning the climb
to a better future.
Cousin Jonny has lost his job
his family depend on his income
but because his family
invested in creating companies
He has other opportunities
available he has other avenues to walk.
you meet a man on the street
angry hitting his car
you stop and spent
five minutes listening
broken hearted he tells you
the factory he works at shut down
redundant now his car has died
leaving him stranded and angry
sometimes anger is an expression
of frustration, a different form of tears
Because your family invested
you can give him a job
his car towed to a garage can be fixed
and with money he can pay the bill
people don't need charity
they need a future
even the job of a cleaner
provides to money to improve your education
Success comes on the back of hard work and effort
to climb above the problems of poverty
to climb above the streets of homelessness
does not require charity
the road to better futures, comes with employment
granted if you have a drug or alcohol problem
perhaps you can't hold down a job
some problems you have to fix yourself
the first problem you have to beat
is your addiction but remember, what you do in life
is also the behaviour, you teach your children,
the success of your life, depends on your decisions.
Will won the table tennis at Rio,
And celebrated this great victory,
By instantly jumping on the table,
With his arms stretched both sides.
For this he got the yellow card,
From a lines judge at the side,
So he approached her, hugged,
But she still didn't smile once.
He then ran over to his coach,
Arms wide open, hugged him:
Took a running jump, sprang,
Up into his arms in embrace.
He then did exactly the same thing,
To Jonny Vagus, the comedian:
He took another running jump,
And sprung straight into his arms.
Will was born with arthrogryposis,
Which affects all four of his limbs,
He overcame cancer aged seven,
And was born on 17 January 1988.
From Sheffield and Kent born,
And while Will was in hospital,
Overcoming cancer, lymphoma,
His grandma got him a TT table.
He loved it and joined a Kent club,
Represented Kent as non-disabled,
Moved to Bristol and met a coach,
And 2008 joined the para TT team.
In 2011 Will secured a solid gold,
At the Euro Champs in Croatia,
He was voted the Players’ Player,
So 2012 he became World No. 1.
At the London Paralympics 2012,
He was sad, greatly disappointed,
With silver for the men’s singles,
Loosing to Jochen Wollmart, DE.
In 2013 he struck silver, Euros,
Won gold at the Lignano Masters,
Another gold in Slovenia 2014,
Which set him up for the Worlds.
At the Worlds in Being in 2014,
Will won the men’s singles gold,
And a team bronze ‘cos he chats,
Then came the Euros in 2015.
In 2015 Will travelled to Vejle,
Which is in Denmark’s land,
Where he took silver twice over,
For the singles, for the team.

Say What
[Verse 1]
Con tend to the consequences, no pretense,
Stepping up like a contender, ready to commence,
Dodging lenders, yeah, I am broke but have no shame,
Sneaking around the loop holes, some treat it like a game.
Holding tight to the gems, living free and rude,
Life is a twisted lesson, even if it is crude.
[Chorus]
Freedom isn’t free, but I am ready for the fight,
Nothing to prove, yet I stand in the light,
From the dirt to the heights, with my machete I make a path,
My name is G3, the Spaghetti Monster would laugh,
When I fall on my ass.
[Verse 2}
Cruella in this jungle, watch the rich folks pout,
Every challenge met like I am ready for a bout,
Fat stacks of courage, laid up high in my mind,
Sipping on Jonny Blue, leaving pain behind.
Cuddle buddy left me, but I still rise again,
With that V8 type of growl, I am my own best friend.
[Chorus]
[Outro]
Lessons, they were learned, through the storm and the strife
In this ed up two faced mirrored matches, I own my own life.
Confinement
The Monkey Jumped 0ff of My Mack
Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Baby, baby!
I am almost fading,
Got a Dade Murphy “Zero Cool,”
Detention appointment after school,
I could crash and burn, yet, I just might learn, the twists and turns,
That people just want to seem to talk about, how I took another route...
I might walk the line sometimes,
Still, I do it even in my work-shirt, sarong, kilt, or skirt,
I am NOT Wayne but still NOT worthy,
I am NOT the only one that got left behind hurting,
What the heck am I even blurting? Maybe I am just nerdy,
Yet, there is NO need to worry,
I wore a cross but as a crossdresser it got stolen,
Wondering for who, what, why.... I am still holding...
To embolden, it is an embarrassment, who cares where our parents went,
This right here you are talking to, had to really vent, it is another stint,
NOT stunt, to be so blunt, take a hint, I fought, to share this and forsake God,
I will rot, but I sought you, from the very start, just brush it off, be tough, bluff, take your stuff,
Because after all it is just some art.
You have my heart.

The Adventures of Jonny Quest and The Talk
[Truth be told, I was too young at the time to know the nuances as to why after a year, this cartoon series ended until later in life. Here is my interpretation]
Hey there Jonny,
what's with the "H".
Gave it to Hadji?
or the ole MPH!
You've been off the air!
What? The station's bare?
No more Jonny Quest Adventures?
Or heavily backed-up debentures?
No, we're just on a little hiatus,
Right, Hadj!
Nobody truthfully hates us,
No dodge!
It's Been a Long, Long Time, I feel!
Song of the sixty's is your spiel?
Man, I'm just stating some of the facts!
It's not about you it's about the contracts.
Read it, man, it's all there in black and white!
It's all signed on the bottom line, it's airtight!
Come on guys, they carried you all on a year's run.
Every episode had proceeded into a cost overrun.
The handwriting was definitely on the wall,
Someday, all the king's horses had to fall.
Thanks for all of The Adventures of, Jonny Quest!
As all good things must come to the end, at last!
So, I do want to apologize for sorta steppin' out-of-bounds,
Okay, guys, we're done here, lights out, release the hounds!
(Stage goes dark, as sounds bark ...)

a conversation with a fictional character

Marvel's Fantastic Four: Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Woman,
The Human Torch and The Thing.
The best memory of the Fantastic Four cartoon characters
that can be best realized, of good measure, was their
live production. Unfortunately, not one episode
is resurrection-able of their cartoon version.
However, that filmed production wherein human characters
portrayed their cartoon counterparts as singularly
different. Granted that there'd be others that
were produced on the silver screen
whereto calls into question
my 'good measure'
ergo, google
ID it to be
a 2005
film.
First off, ...
The Invisible Woman was visibly
fetching and was indebted to
Mr. Fantastic's character,
yet not by definition.
The Thing's character was quick to temper
and getting stoned whenever ...
The Human Torch,
combust.
Albeit, Mr. Fantastic's human counterpart was
misleading as his appearance rendered him
to be fantastic-ally half his portrayed age
and that protege veneer was studious.
The contrast between Mr. Fantastic's cartoon character,
stems from Dr. Ben of The Jonny Quest Adventures
who shares that '60s science-like qualities
whereto Mr. Fantastic bears a streak
of gray hair--defining age factor.
Furthermore, the content of that movie is fleeting other than
the fact that The Human Torch is excessively
--cold.
Sadly, the complete genre of cartoon episodes no longer
occupies my memory banks--blank. Whether they'd
be televised or store-shelved, it'll also include my
children's. Most characters are more noticed
than the show/comic/toy they delivered.
Noting their identifiable names, Popeye versus the
boys' Pac-Man and the girls' Barbie, and beyond
that ... nothing,
"C'est la vie, mon ami/amie."
"That's life, my friend."--> Masculine/Feminine: French translated
