Lucky I Guess Part I

Today was the big day! I bought a scratch-off ticket two days ago and won $25,000.00! Can
you imagine that? Me, a lonely unemployed nobody, strikes it rich. Yee-Hah! So, I'm off to the
lottery collections agency to cash in my lucky windfall. The polite gentleman handed me
the necessary forms. I feverishly completed them and within 36 minutes was awarded my
check. Wow! Me, a single, unrecognized nobody, is clutching a mild fortune.
“Zippety-Do-Dah!” Whistling a happy tune, I venture home. Three blocks before reaching my
domicile, I spotted a young lad on the corner of Clark Street and 9th Avenue. He was
sitting on the cold concrete playing with an energetic puppy - yet, he was crying. "Hey,
kid, that's a beautiful puppy you've got." The young boy looked up at me and stammered:
"He's not my puppy, Mister. I found him here in the street a little while ago. The doggie
has no home." My heart skipped two beats. "Where do you live, son?" The tearful boy
crooked his head towards a dilapidated house two lots away from the corner of Clark
Street. I didn't think anyone lived there. I paused for a second and then:

"Hey, Mister? Do you have an extra quarter?" I was speechless for a moment.
"Excuse me, Mister...um, do you have a dime or a quarter? I have two quarters in my pocket.
If I get one more I can buy the puppy a can of dog food at the corner store." Containing a smile,
I lost my breath. I regained my wits and asked: "Would your Mom and Dad approve of you
having a puppy?" The young lad kept his head down and replied: "Well, my Dad is dead.
But I know my Mom would like this puppy. It's just that my Mom can't walk and, um...
I take care of her and, um...we really wouldn't have enough money to take
care of a dog, anyways." My heart was breaking. "What's your name son?"
I didn't understand who's tears I was envisioning - his or mine.
"Charlie, Mister." "My name's, Charlie."

Mommy's Unborn Angel

Mommy I could have loved you.
But you didn’t give me a chance.
Now since I’m free,
With the angels I dance.

Mommy didn’t you love me?
I guess I wasn't wanted.
When those evil monsters grabbed a part of me,
I felt like my life was becoming haunted.

Mommy how could you let them do that?
I felt more pain then you.
But as I took my last breath,
I received my wings and flew.

I flew to a place that would make me feel better.
Here, there are no worries.
I feel as light as a feather.

At times I still think about,
The love we could have shared.
Even if you felt no love,
Having me around showed that someone cared.

We could have went to parks.
Enjoying my toddler years.
Whenever I would have a nightmare,
You would help me overcome my fears.

Then when I would graduate,
You'll would be in the audience cheering for "your baby".
I'll be in my cap and gown laughing at how my mom is so crazy.

But with all of those good times,
There would have to be bad ones too.
But mom everyone goes through the struggles.
Don't think all the pressure is being pushed on to only you.

Even though you allowed them to take my life,
There could never be any hate.
So all I have to do is sit here...
...And wait.

I will wait until you become an angel.
Then I could see you once again.
We could sit down and sip tea,
As I reminisce with an old friend.

Mommy I still love you.

Mothers to be, please think before you act.!

Premium Member Christmas On the Other Side of Town

No gifts under the Christmas tree;
His mother was mired in poverty.
“Next year, Baby,” his Mom insists;
He thinks he’s on the naughty list.

“Sorry Santa, I was bad,
Next year I’ll do better.
If you think that maybe I improve,
You can just use this year’s letter.”

“I tired real hard to be a good boy,
Thought maybe you’d give me just one toy.
I helped my Mommy the best I could,
She said she thought I had been good.”

“But I guess you must have heard something else,
Maybe something you were told by your elves.
All of next year I will do my best
To end up on your good boy list.”

Over on the other side of town,
Another boy had presents plenty,
He turned to his Mom and Dad,
And said, “I know a boy who won’t get any.”

“Would you mind if I re-wrapped some gifts,
And we delivered them to his home?
I think he lives in a little house,
With his Mommy all alone.”

“I know there is no Santa Claus,
But I think he still believes.
I thought maybe for him this year
Santa could be me.”

His Mom and Dad gave him a hug
And helped him pack the car;
They drove to the other side of town
A trip really not so far.

He said, “Santa made an accident,
And left these under the wrong tree.
Imagine how surprised I was
To see they weren’t for me.”

The mothers hugged and shared a tear,
Watching the two boys play;
Both of them filled up with joy
On this wondrous holiday.

Praise's Be Always To God Almighty

Little Children
Tender and Sweet
Within their hearts
Souls.. weep

As many as I have seen
Torn between
Parents.. Divorce's
They not know
Why? what to do..

As little Ben..
Came in.
With tears in his eyes
and said.. unto me
Why?? What Should I
Why? should I.. be Thankful!!

As I Looked onto him
I said.. You should always be Thankful
God has Blessed you with your parents

Ben then said... but they are divorced
They fight over me.. constantly
to them I am just a burden...

I then said.. that is not so..
Ben.. neither one
Would want to let you go
You should be Thankful..
You have them both

For when I was Your age..
I had No parents..
I had No mom nor a dad..
I lived in a Foster home..
You my Dear.. be Thankful
For what You have...

He then looked.. with tears within his eyes
Then said.. gez.. you had no mom?!
No dad?!.. then he said..
Yes.. I see... I do...
Thank God.. I do..
Face twas aglow..
Yes.. I have..
Alot to be Thankful for
My Mom and Dad
and You..
He then gave me
a big Hug.. twas ever sweet
Love of Child.. God's Precious Light

Praise's be to God Almighty

Pure Love Is True Love

Pure Love is True Love.. Which is From Above
There's many Forms of Love, On Earth
A Love From birth! From a Mom and Dad
Sisters and Brothers also have, a Similar Love
Like Mom and Dad’s, difference is-Between Kids
Then You'll Find, One of a Kind, True Love
Someone to share Your Life With
Then there's Pure Love, That’s Not a Myth
It's True.. Never Leaves.. nor Forsake You
Always There.. Always Kind.. Always True
One You can Always Always Trust and Turn to
Gives Peace of Mind.. Heart.. Soul
With Pure True Love.. You'll know with-out a doubt,
God Poured His Love out! Gave His Begotten Son
Pure Love was paved, For Us to be Saved
This Lights Fire.. Desire.. Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness
Once we're Born-again
This Pure True Love You’re Looking For, Is with Jesus
Come to Him.. While there's still Time
Ask Him In Your Heart, and Forgiveness sins
Believe Jesus died and Had Risen,
Then Your Born-again! SAVED!
