Sometimes your road to glory
Will be filled with thorns
This would be an important aspect of your story!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
Multiplying your talent and
Cementing the accuracy of your gift will
Often reveal the fact that friends can turn into foes
The souls of men and women are filled with hatred
When the matrix in your life changes that grant you an advantage!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
You will raise the bar in your life
And you will see who are your real friends
If your progress brings a sudden shift in their attitude
Then they have signaled the commonality of hidden hypocrisy!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
Sometimes your road to glory
Will be filled with thorns
This would be an important aspect of your story!

April 9 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Kings 19-21
Key Verse –2Kings 19:4 It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY REPROACH REPROVER
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against threatening trouble
Thank You for protecting me from fear’s rumble
Through Your fighting armor, steadfastly stable
With Your deliverance so able.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against deceiving perception
Thank You for rescuing me from sin’s destruction
Through Your defending testimony for my dedication
With Your reign so supreme in Your wisdom-function.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against attacking sickness
Thank You for answering me of my prayer zealousness
Through Your beseeching motivation for my stewardship faithfulness
With Your healing so complete toward my sin-forgiveness.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against boiling controversy
Thank You for correcting me of my guilty hypocrisy
Through Your presenting truth of persistency
With Your assertion so precious in Your fervency.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against hoarding temporal treasures
Thank You for reminding me Your promised hope that assures
Through Your subduing peace midst alluring leisure of worldly pleasures
With Your might so strong to uphold me in handling pressures.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against compromising blight
Thank You for rearing me upon Your altar of worship delight
Through Your building power along Scriptures’ light
With Your dealings so right.
Lord God, You are my reproach Reprover against stretching discontentment
Thank You for sufficing me despite complaint’s disagreement
Through Your abounding grace for ministry involvement
With Your acts so loving in Your granted commitment.
Where is the anger! The rage! And the courage, I expected to see?
Why is everyone so complacent?
Evangelical Christians have endorsed a cheat, a liar, a bigot, and a misogynist
because he's pro-life, God will forgive the rest; hallelujah!
Democracy used to cannibalize democracy; please pass the head of state!
A cult has formed, like the Nazi Youth, who ogled Hitler with worshiping eyes.
Those in charge have stooped so low; that they bow down to this wannabee Fuhrer
with their brown noses prominently showing above their pasted-on smiles!
If you're part of this cult, reason can't save you! You'll die for this trickster!
Chanting NO COLLUSION, NO COLLUSION! Though you know, it isn't true.
As for the rest of you, it's time you woke up!
Wipe off those cynical grins and VOTE, like your voice matters
like your vote matters, like your freedom matters, and pray that they still do!
I'm neither a democrat nor a republican,
I can't stomach the hypocrisy of either party!
As a proud Canadian, I can only empathize with your problem,
but, I'm an impartial observer, immune to the fake news, you might say.
There's no defending this President!
But his Republican stooges, Fox news, and the evangelist elite do just that!
A con-man stole their integrity and bamboozled his way into the White House.
Now, like Russia's Putin, he wants to be king!
And he'll challenge and or change the constitution to make it so!
Where is your anger! Your rage! And your courage?
I hear some Americans praise him like he's the second coming!
And insisting his Presidency was prophesied in the pages of the bible.
In what wacky world is it even possible to venerate Donald Trump
as an instrument of God? Many are oblivious to the truth,
even when his narcissism and hyperbole are so blatantly obvious!
Once more, the human psyche's tapped and loyalty siphoned off
to advance the goals of one corrupt man.
In the words of Jesus, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!"
May God have mercy on our souls if he wins again!

They wear the name
before they wear the heart.
Their mouths speak mercy,
But their hands throw stones.
They laugh at the poor,
and call it wisdom.
They look at weakness
as entertainment.
They help you--
then ask for payment
in silence broken by shame,
in rumors louder than truth.
They tell you to pray
while they tighten the circle around you,
a group that claims holiness
while making your life feel like exile.
Their words are weapons…
never medicine,
cutting deeply
while claiming to correct.
They pray not for light,
but for your fall,
and when it comes,
they turn away as if innocent.
They post your pain without permission,
turning your wounds into content,
and your dignity into a joke.
They offer no break, no mercy,
not even in holy time!
Christmas absorbs their Bitterness,
the New Year begins without mercy.
The leader hides in shadow.
A proxy takes the seat beside you,
cups your words,
and spreads them around.
They shame you openly,
circulate your image,
and when you break your silence,
they call you Broken, Unstable, Unreal.
They judge how you spend;
the way you get by day to day,
as if belief gives them the right
to decide for you.
They Welcome you warmly
their decision is already fixed.
When you see behind the curtain,
they erase you
by turning people against you.
So tell me…
Is a good reputation always good?
Is a bad one always deserved?
Evil moves quietly,
often in prayer circles,
often behind clean images
and loud hallelujahs.
But TRUTH - does not need Noise.

Stray cool breeze
Plants a calm ease;
Heat wave reprieve

So many laps
Round and round;
Brisk walking spree

Weary worry
Spreads load heavy;
Too much tension

A good laugh here
Marks worthwhile cheer;
Light moments ease

Goodies galore;
Tempting bargains

Curious wonder
History unfolds;
Vanity confronts

Curious eyes watch
One winning glimpse;

I feared to reach for the ambrosial drift
of ambergris floating
through turquoise tides
beneath the rising sun ~
reluctant to relish the resilience
of nascent nova,
as if every ray
of light held
blackness of uncertainties,
yet I’ve learned to
heal beneath the searing
heat of hypocrisy ~
I glow on, no longer obscured
by their oblivious observation
of my orbit,
for I am a morning star
unceasingly sparkling
across dusky horizons,
loving, living ~ breathing,
dreaming,
in love
with the calm
of crystal-clear currents,
and the crescendo
of poetic collisions,
for this heart unlocks gateways
to the abyss of sea-salt silence,
allowing dawn to caress
the corners of my suppressed fears ~
as the eclipsed cannot
dim the pulse of painted patience
with butterfly strokes…
I am a windward wanderer
stirring among
life’s whimsical waves,
as the sky spills
caramel clusters
over celestial cerulean,
and my soul unfurls
like an odyssey
kissed by the divine flame,
scripting
deep warm hues of blue ~
colors of fate,
only you and I can reveal,
for we are both
brushed with oil,
lost in the
serene palette of siren secrets…
and life ~
O soul feeler,
this existence is a sail
we voyage through
sighing stillness
and soaring sapphires
cradling simple blessings
that nature gifts us
wrapped in unwavering faith ~
when we are invisible we sit in silence
in a mouldy fish moth garage
ash brick cement crumbles slow
wondering if we should eat our fingers
while they gorge on decadence
wrapped in celebration glitz
when fast they did not
bodies swirl on beds
heads together
blood still splattering distended bellies
a new Gaia is birthing
when we are invisible we listen to
falsetto laughter ripple table laden
gossip ~ a bouquet lies thirsty
rose petals leaking slow tears whilst
ash brick cement crumbles slow
recreated memories exaggerated
fly across congested kitchen space
bodies swirl on beds
heads together
blood still splattering distended bellies
a new Gaia is birthing
when we are invisible we walk
beach sand where friends picnic
they see us not though smiling
we cross their chequered blanket
to join in cheese merriment raucous
ash brick cement crumbles slow
our frequency can only bypass
obesity complaining about
sandy sandwiches tomatoed
bodies swirl on beds
heads together
blood still splattering distended bellies
a new Gaia is birthing
when we are invisible dark or light
matters not, neither gunpowder
or champagne allures, hunger
and satiation is not an experience
invisibility not a cloak or mask
maybe point on translucent ouroboros
assessing other points just for the
hell of it ~ in all seriousness God
laughs either way because
invisibility and materiality is a single
coin in His-Her cosmic peg bag
bodies swirl on beds
heads together
blood still splattering distended bellies
ash brick cement crumbles s l o W
s l o w …ly
a new Gaia is birthing

I grew up a white boy in suburban Ohio. My parents both worked,
we had a nice house…I played on a little league team.
Yes, growing up in Ohio….I was sure we were living the American Dream.
Back then I thought the Dream was accessible to everyone in the country we live in….
It wasn’t until year laters I realized the American Dream was much easier for me
because of the color of my skin.
The roots of the American Dream can be found in our Declaration of Independence
right their in black and white it is expressed
How everyone is created equal, all endowed with inalienable rights
that among these rights are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It wasn’t until I was older…the hypocrisy I started seeing…
when I learned the man who wrote those inspiring words…
himself… owned human beings.
Nonetheless his uplifting words famously became his contribution
to the independence of our country…and the cornerstone of our constitution.
In our constitution his words were interpreted to mean
we will work as equals……through conflicts, controversies and strife….
so every person regardless of their background will have the freedom and opportunity
to succeed and attain a better, richer, and fuller life.
But it has never really worked that way…say…for the Native Americans,
people of color, if you are gay or lesbian or trans….
when people in power ignore our constitution…when they have other plans.
For now I know when they spoke of inalienable rights they were being disingenuous…
that the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are delicate and tenuous.
That the constitution…which I thought was a guide to what this country dreamed to be
a road map that has provided my life with many an opportunity…
has not been as fair and just for people who do not look or worship or act like me.
For years their freedoms and opportunities have been dishonored and ignored
So much so that is seems…they don’ t have any!
so how can we call it the American Dream…
when it’s been an American Nightmare for so many.
I hate my life but I hate it even more when I see others hate theirs too
I'm suicidal but it kills me when I see other ppl die because of what they have been through
I like being angry but I can’t stand when someone gets mad too
You don’t know why I am mad and to judge me you should have proof
There’s no evidence of this image that we represent
We’re put through hell and expected to be heaven-sent
Everything were taught to believe
Only the opposite we see
Is it wrong if we try to be free
By giving in and forgetting the goal were supposed to achieve?
Should I pick my wants over my needs?
Even though
I know
It’s about the long run and how far we can go
Then we'll have plenty of time to do as we please
But what do i do about this anger and confusion
It’s given me an afflictive rush like a drug you'd be using
So I don’t know which side I'll be choosing
And it sucks because I'm so sucked up
Either way I won’t know when, where and what I’ll be losing
But one thing I'll remember for sure is what I started
I'll never forget the end, of my beginning and how it all departed
I’ll remember the burden on my back that was so big i knelt
I won’t forget the pain my knees felt
Would there be more pain with my strain if I fell?
Or would it hurt to ascend from the end and once again
Trust myself?
Through the prism of the soul, a mysterious alliance of reflections is bound,
Pieced together from shards of worlds lost under bare soles.
Streams of betrayal trickle over the skin, constructing ruby maps
In ten directions, to be wrung out, to be cleansed of primal anguishes.
The agony writhes, a tremor of despair suffocated between stammering sobs,
A home is built upon the canvas of reality, just to see it shattered in the porcelain of promises.
The sign of peace is vain when screams sustain an endless echo,
From the ashes of your being, the fire stubbornly flares up towards the infinite.
You tread over embers hidden beneath ash, anguish on hot coals –
Your home smokes the reddish light of dusk under the weight of silence.
The scent of cigars and the noise of fallen bottles in a symphony of shadow and flight,
Each step echoes a gathering doomed to insignificance.
A disjointed section, a star-studded rainbow with the caress of fleeting hope,
Are broken dreams and wilted wings yearning to envelop,
A flicker of the firmament, proud in the moon's reflection, testimonies of imperfect brilliance.
You are lured by the dungeon's aroma, but it's just a dream encircled by passions to which you succumb.
Rustling through oceans of quiet, the fear of the grave keeps you from the depths,
A laugh of hypocrisy breaks through, the metaphor of a cave full of echo and re-sanctification.
Be a guide on a tour of truth, if you are a helmsman on the rivers of the soul.
When the veils of silence fall, we will find ourselves in the unsaid verb, in the long-lost vow.
If I were to expose my vulnerable breath before your pure gaze,
Would you continue to kiss my wounds, to confront the red that paints your lips?
And, at the moment when scars weave stories on our skin, will you venture forth,
To embrace my enigma for a long while, even if the fire burns and sparkles within us?
Will I still be arcane enough for you, then?
