2 by 4, murder was written on the door
Her blood was spilled on the floor
Jesus I can not read any more
These stories can no longer be ignored
There should be tighter laws
Too many victims heading to the cemetery floor
Abuse should not be accepted or Ignored
Woman of sorrow
Time to break your silence
Blow the whistle on the cane
Don't stay silent and harbor the pain
Loose the chain and remove the stain
Tell yourself, you are created to gain
In this life chose to break free from the chain
Learn to live and aim
You can conqueror the cane
You can overcome the pain
You will not die or go insane
Your life will not be in vain
Now stand up and reveal his or her name.
—The Sense of Sight With No Ending Point—
it was early in the morning a sailboat anchored in the harbor
awakened from the deep sweet dream yawns and stretches
its arms to drive away black and thickened curtains over head
far away across the ocean the mountains lying at the edge of
the water kisses and mingles with the sky that is blue and bright
when the crystal blue sky expands to unlimited eternity
the colorless clouds appear and form their shapes to their will
then dye a corner of the sky with the stained brushes
the water came from many valleys gather together
flow into a river then rushes and falls into bottomless basin of
a waterfall broken into hundreds of thousands of tiny clear water beads
when the water becomes mist
tiny beads embrace each other and fly into the air flapping
gorgeous wings and shaking his brilliant silvery mane like
a whit sparking Pegasus
once Pegasus flies into the air he glides in the circles for a moment then he folds his magnificent wings as a wounded Phoenix then he dashes into the water and vanishes away
while the water lies in the inlet the glaring sunlight
keeps throwing unquenchable flames to dissolve the rocks
on the shore and the water into burning ashes
when it’s time for sundown and the lonely man walks away
from the shore all those brilliant colors lose their glories
and turn into colorless darkness
the water and the rocks also change their shapes
from the original form to burning ashes then time masses
and ashes become cold and gray
the blazing Phoenix rises from the ashes and flies away
in the foggy air to return to the island that is in the midst
of the ocean yet no one has ever seen
As the sounds of war loudly roar
The thoughts of Freedom began to soar
For on that day of infamy
It changed the course of history
They didn’t ask to be attacked
But patriotism became a well know fact
With Peril Harbor still fresh on their minds
Young and old stood in long enlistment lines
So off to war these soldiers gladly went
To distant lands where they were sent
In Europe where the German’s raged
Eisenhower began to set the stage
Just before the breaking of the dawn
The seas were cold and breaking strong
Below the deck of the great Samuel Carroll battleships
A solemn prayer came from humble soldier’s lips
For On this cold and blistery June D-day
What unknown adventures, what grievous price to pay
They cleaned their rifles, down below
To France’s land where they should go
On this day, upon those treacherous shores
To battle them who start the wars
They came of every race the mingled swarm
In proud defiance to withstand a deadly storm
Americas' hero’s shown in pristine glory
And to write Freedom's worthy story
For on these shores and lapping waves
Came the spirits of America’s brave
Some gains were made at heavy human cost
The price is high, but not, if Freedom’s lost
These soldiers’ knew not if they would survive the day
Their prayerful thoughts of loved one’s far away
Up and down this cursed blood filled coast;
Two-thousand lifeless bodies gave the most
They paid the price for freedoms sake
With salt tears, let us not their sacrifice forsake.
Your touch fills me with glee
By awakening my soul
I always want you near me
You make feel completely whole
I never get tired of your loving ways
Loving you is my ultimate goal
I want to be next to you all my days
You make feel completely whole
Your embrace is my safe harbor
Something was missing, you filled the hole
My darling, you'll always be Mi Amor
You make feel completely whole
Continue to shower me with kisses
Ingite love's fire, don't forget the coal
I'm so glad and honored to be your Mrs.
You make feel completely whole

Author's Note: This is my first attempt at
the"Kyrielle" form. I wanted to try one after I saw Peter
Duggan do one in this form. I hope I got it right.
With my true love I am smitten,
in his dark brown eyes I am lost;
and into a wild journey tossed.
Oh, love I am truly bitten,
I become wrapped in his soul- strength;
for him I will go any length.
His words make me purr a kitten
a single touch makes my heart ache;
if a dream- oh please do not wake.
Yes, yes with love I am stricken,
he says I am lovely and sweet;
he is my safe harbor- retreat.
Love . . . is why poems are written.
and my true, true love inspires me;
he listens while I set words free.
With my true love I am smitten,
oh, love I am truly bitten;
his words make me purr a kitten,
yes, yes with love I am stricken;
love . . . is why poems are written.

Shelter me
in this gray dark unsettling gloom
that taunts and haunts my every move
it takes my breath, my heart, my soul depression looms;
it was a hundred years ago in which I lived in dreams interlude.
Keep me safe.
harbor me along the shores of time
where you found love and laughter
when nothing else remained to find
and in the end, our lives would dance in oleaster.
Give me refuge
safely wrapped tight within your arms
listening to the rhythmic of your loving heart
forever bound by love and destiny's sweet charms
never again to be apart.
Be my haven
sheltered warm and loved
as if it were life and love reborn
draw me in close and cherished snug
shelter me from all life storms.
If you love someone let them know not just by your words but by your actions
The true meaning of love is showing dedication to another person with strong affection
A solid healthy relationship for a couple should be based on intimacy, passion, and commitment
You are partners in your journey through life, bonding together and trying not to harbor any feelings of resentment
Do not let a single day go by without expressing your love for each other
Constant reinforcement of this will bring great joy to your life, just ask your mother
Be a good listener, you do not always have to be right
Always strive to resolve any problems before you go to bed at night
Respect for each other is the main ingredient to a happy fulfilling life
Always be there for each other, especially in times of strife
Think of your time together in terms of eating your favorite pie
Enjoy and savour each piece there is no need to ask why
Your smile overshadows your desire to cry
but I see the sadness beneath those eyes
your soul needs a place to hide and disguise
the true feelings you harbor within you
Why are you so sad tonight?
words come still, yet so contrite
don't speak at all - you've got that right
that's not been taken from you
Can you express how you feel about me?
probably not, that's not reality
don’t know that I would want to see
that I didn't know the right way to love you
You matter to me more than words can say
but for now I'm just stayin' out of your way
‘til you approach me on your own one day
I’ll be ready with these arms to hold you
Through rolling vapor MISTS I spy, a sailing ship at sea,
And think, perhaps, the Captain’s lost, MYSTIFIED as to where he be-
For he had MISSED his plotted course, because he could not see,
And now was lost and AMIDST, with others just like he-
There was no sign of MISTING, leaving the harbor an hour before,
REMISS about the weather, didn't know a MIST was rolling to shore-
MYSTERIOUS murk surrounded his ship, as he looked to find some ground,
And MISTY eyed he did become, when a way home wasn’t found-
“MISSING BOATS in a MYSTICAL FOG", the newspaper headlines read,
And those who'd been 'board the “MYSTIC,” now reported dead-
Needing a calm place that'll harbor my tears,
I seek safe waters to anchor my soul.
And over the sullied waves of silence:
one voice rises above the rigmarole.
Sensing I'm on the edge of depression,
your compassion pulls me back from the brink.
And acting as my guardian Angel,
you salvage scuttled dreams before they sink.
Having felt the agony of love lost,
you recognize the feelings I'm feeling.
And defusing frustration and anger,
you guide me through the stages of healing.
Offering my heart a glimmer of hope,
you assure me my suffering will end.
And you console me: when I need to cry
on a sympathetic shoulder, my friend.
