Silence
no pain -
Inside the eye
of a tornado,
my hallucinations
Is this death?
So bury me quickly
free me from this nightmare
Thoughts no one hears
The voices in my head
slowly creeps in
A cheerful parade
a choir of angels
I guess
And for a moment I believe
this is the end
I have to be strong
and escape from this dream
In the glow of a silver star
The voice is still there
... and it's yours, my dear

Yesterday we had our vaccination,
Developed no hallucinations
And certainly no indications
Of symptoms, as per some perceptions
Feel good we had this vaccination
Giving us some protection,
Was over in a second, no hallucinations,
Or contra indications.
Arm was painful, no more or less, a revelation
2nd phase Pfeizer, need no persuasion
Indeed, a definite exuberant exhilaration,
So many hundreds in the queue, a true illumination.
My heart felt such intense satisfaction,
So many people in line for vaccination
Which is for ours and your protection
Have not a single reservation.
Have this much researched safe vaccination,
One must not tarry, pay great attention
3.5 million people that have died since Covid 19’s inception,
Weigh up the odds, one should have no objection!
What happens when we die? I really want to know!
I’m getting up in age and am ready for the show!
Religious fundamentalists say things won’t be good
for souls unbaptized or for those not living as they should.
I went to church when younger and followed rules as well,
but I hear discrepancies regarding heaven and hell.
Because I’m not one given to spiritual displays
such as Holy Roller moments, I’m somewhat in a daze!
Testimonies others give confound me even more.
Would God send most to hell if they didn’t know what for?
The Chinese have no preachers. People think so differently
depending on their upbringing; it’s all perplexing me!
And so with fascination, I read books or I hear
of people having NDE’s, which takes away my fear.
Away from Heaven’s lovely light these “dead” souls get yanked back.
Inside their bodies once again, fear’s now a thing they lack!
How marvelous it has to be – to feel within your heart
sensations of that place from which you did not wish to part.
All things regarding after-life and pre-existence too
make me utterly enthralled. I know such things are true.
Too many people have things happen while they’re lying dead
for it to be hallucinations . It’s truth to which they’re led.
Reincarnation also once had been a Christian view.
Astrology ties into this, and that I’ve studied too.
I think the minds of humans are too small to comprehend
the otherworldly things we all will learn of in the end.
Psychics, ghosts, UFO’s, and things like ESP.
What do they mean? How awesome really knowing it would be!

I have had nightmares of demons and hallucinations
in the pitch dark of night
leaving me paralyzed
with fright and fear
unable to speak words but screaming
unable to move away
from a hellish imp creature
his skin like a slithering snake
his voice a hissing in the night
a head upon a fat distorted body
oh, horrible disgusting creature
and another creature hovers
the hidden shape of a black horse
friend or foe
internally I am frozen and unable to wake up
I am stuck in a terrifying scene
everything in my bedroom is surreal and distorted
with the power of will I wake
weeping in my bed
I can smell him
feel his hands on my body stroking
I must have a shower to wash off his stink
that is when I see the bruises and hand prints
how is this possible
now, I keep the lights on
have become sleep deprived . . .
An angel all in white with a red handbag
Seven priests all in black clasp their hands in prayer
A girl sits on a stool with a wind up switch in her back
I touch my face but it feels like glass
An elephant stands on top of the world with just one leg
Two fishes dressed in black coats walk their pet balloons
A man stands on the nose of a plane before it crashes
A girl jumps off a cliff into the universe
Another falls from the sky with a clock and a bunny rabbit
A woman grasps on to a clock carried by a black bird
A businessman floats by with a briefcase and an umbrella
A woman in a white dress meditates under water
A boy sits on the edge of the moon gazing at the stars
Through the windscreen on an underwater highway a diver is seen following a shark
A lonely girl sits on the steps while a black cat watches her from the bridge
An astronaut gazes at the world at night through her window
A shark swims in the air through the forest trees
A woman in a black dress plays the violin while being swept away by a tornado
A girl in a pink dress is trapped under a glass
A man stands on top of a school bus while it plunges into the ocean
A bald eagle carries a piano on strings
A little girl jumps into a mirror floating on the sea
A woman floats away with a handful of butterflies just like balloons
Euphoric, I rush to you, Lord, unaware I'm naked.
In your presence, my physique and psyche are elated
On my way, I trampled them—thus my kith and kin complained.
In my mad, single-minded pursuit, had I gone harebrained?
Am I a rebel that I've given up all social norms?
Drunk with your thoughts, have I forgotten all gregarious forms?
My home and all within it, seem to me nonexistent.
In my sleeping and waking I've become inconsistent.
I'm filled with hallucinations of heaven day and night.
With devils and furnaces, in my nightmares, I often fight.
I feel your Spirit flowing like a stream and washing me.
From my sins of commissions and omissions, I rise free
Transcending each mundane infinitesimal dharma
That fetters me in a birth-rebirth cycle of Karma.
Like a mad mullah or like a crazy priest of Allah
In each drama, am I not seeking you, the Param Brahma?
The hues of affliction caught my glimpse
Maddening horror scratching my doorstep
Clashing with severe torture,
Scorching away my destiny...my confidence
Hallucinations take hold
Risk shoved in a deserted briefcase
Pluck the rose pedals that reveal your wasteful woe
Now your woe is crystal clear in your outspoken instructions you very much lack
Magnify the dazzling sensation,
Drugging my suicidal life and its troubles
Sparkling risk managing to parachute a confident endeavor from each angle
Crawling on poverty road...managing to warp-up easing moments
Unsteady in your rambling presence
You are an incredible luck to my immortal life
Too unbearable to strike down...hunted on the spot
Magnify the dazzling sensation,
Drugging my suicidal life and its troubles
Trails of avarice, wonder my mind far from thee
I'd diminish all the doubts...clumps of shapeless clay
Save the case and listen to what I have to say
Keep me away from worrying mad
Digest the emptiness I feel deep inside
Leaving a trail of blasted fears
A mixture of fondness and softness
Plants on your brushed, blemished whisper,
The atmosphere fairly uneasy to take hold of
You borrowed from me and stole from my mummified heart
All I seek now is gloom and doom
Resume with your lightening life
Isolate yourself from hardened fear
Death stares grow unsteady in your figure
It was as if they never existed in your warm, swirling heart
I plead you'll never set foot on this road again
I'll some day figure out the unpredictable code
Be courteous, though your abilities are weak
Lay in dark affliction,
You warped-up poverty road
Walk in secure recovery
After I determine this code
Hold on for dear life
Lay on my palm, if it would help
Walk in secure recovery
Hendecasyllabic Alliterative Pseudo-rhyming Abecedarian
Artfully arranging all attestations
Breathlessly bringing bright beautifications
Carefully constructing clever contraptions
Daringly, dauntingly delving deductions
Eagerly, easily ending extractions
Fancifully forming flirtatious factions
Gustily grasping gigantic gradations
Hazily having harsh hallucinations
Instantly inking imagined infractions
Jarringly journaling jacked judications
Kindly knuckling known keratinizations
Lightheartedly launching lame litigations
Misguidedly making mean machinations
Noticeably needing noninterventions
Obnoxiously outing odd operations
Pensively perusing past permutations
Questioning queerly quixotic quotations
Relentlessly razing rare restorations
Sneeringly slinging snarky salutations
Thoughtfully triggering true transformations
Unduly uttering Ute ululations
Vibrantly voicing verve versifications
Willingly working warm winterizations
Xenophobes x-ing xenotransplantations
Youthfully yearning yak yarnifications,
Zany, zesty zebra zombifications

Caught in the depths of my shadows within
Breathing in the plague of all the vermin
Nauseated stomach and bile on my chin
Lips begin to crack from dehydrated skin
Follicles die out so my hair starts to thin
Hard to move forward when my head only spins
Hallucinations of bright lights and shiny sequins
These days are already over before they begin
My mind rests in pain with all of the aspirin
While drowning out my system with tonic & gin
These days are already over before they begin
Caught in the depths of my shadows within

One Christmas Eve, when all the reindeer wheezed,
Santa sighed, staring at his grounded fleet.
Then—scritch-scratch—a small, clawed architect appeared,
tail a-quiver, eyes bright with stolen seeds.
I’ll do it, chittered the squirrel, puff-chested,
as if sleighs were just oversized acorns.
Santa shrugged. Desperation breeds odd pilots.
The squirrel’s tiny paws gripped the reins~
no reins, really, just shoelaces knotted tight.
The sleigh lurched forward, more wobble than glide,
gifts rattling like a junk drawer in turbulence.
Over rooftops they went, the squirrel’s tail steering
like a frantic rudder. Cats paused mid-yawn.
Children glimpsed the blur—Was that... a squirrel?
—then dismissed it as eggnog hallucinations.
Presents were dropped (some were flung, frankly),
landing in chimneys, bushes, one in a birdbath.
The squirrel, high on adrenaline and stolen frosting,
declared this the Greatest Nut Run Ever.
Dawn approached. Santa, exhausted, offered payment~
the squirrel demanded a lifetime supply of cashews.
And that’s why, even now, if you listen closely,
you’ll hear tiny claws on your roof...
delivering invoices.
