Ten hut!
Can't let up
Even though, it can get messed up
Really F'd up
Do not get fed up
Keep your head up
Stay sharp, don't get set up
Careful where a disagreement ends up
Heads up!
Many fast to wet up
From the legs up
To the neck up
Bleeding out a color similar to Ketchup
The proof was there or quickly got swept up
Prices continually went up
Falling behind, because you never kept up
Get your bread up
Often in life you'll have to step up
Sped up
Engines revved up
Couldn't let it go, so they dredge up
Old news they spoke and penned up
But I did my homework and read up
So you're about to get shred up
You'll never surface, even after a check up
Kept mine, others went against their own word
Too late to sojourn
At the point of no return
Due to a slow burn
Often went through the wringer
You'd think I've been on Jerry Springer
She wants the whole world and a gem on her finger
Meanwhile around the corner death always lingers
Hit them with another zinger
Hook, line and sinker
As I continue to tinker
Ya'll can be some stinkers
I always put on a blinker
Soon to give up being a daily drinker
Becoming a complex thinker
Avoiding any gold diggers
Feeling vigor
It's time I'm onto something bigger
Don't need to reconsider
Even though many are quick to pull the trigger
People continuing to bicker
Remaining bitter
Known as a fibber
Caught up on twitter
It's been pleasant or gotten sicker
Going well or down the s***ter
Staying clean or full of litter
A whole nation hooked
Easily getting cooked
And forsook
They never caught on or looked
Strength, dedication and heart is what it took
Couldn't find it all from a book
Had to put each foot
Through miles of soot
By the end they were shook
Or tried to portray me as a crook
Not a big fan of dungarees
Getting tired of all this gluttony
Too much redundancy
And puppetry
Still living sucker-free
Yet another attempted to humble me
So I got the upper hand suddenly
Their soul the devil took custody
I continued on triumphantly
Cautious of who's around as company
She's just a tease
And he's such a sleaze
Try to touch my cheese
Then the trigger of a gun I squeeze
Doesn't matter if you run or freeze
I am but a tiny sapling
Growing on the side of the mountain
Freshly breaking new ground, hopeful for the warm embrace of the eastern sun
At first I was a seedling that rode from the western winds of a hurricane
My face dripped from Sea Breeze, like tears of joy
I got swept away, I flew
Higher than Hot Air Balloons
That are gigantic floating Chinese lanterns whose mouths are fuelled by a tongues ablaze
Incinerating
I Ride on the backs of Geese
Their steel like apparatus wings catches the prevailing winds
I nestle myself amongst the bed of sweet grasses
I lay awake at night listening to the howling wolves
Who cry for their unrequited lovers, they are four legged Shakespearean Artists.
I feel the cool trickle of the neighbor Glacier Lake that nourishes me, what the perfect welcoming
committee
I am but a tiny sapling
Growing on the side of a mountain
Watch in awe as I grow magnificiently
I struck out on my own around a year old
life was so full of fun, so many things with
which to play, a leaf scuttling by, a rustle
in the undergrowth. I was enthralled.
I stood on a road watching intently
a little mouse. A car shot past bowling
me over and slicing off half of my tail.
It stung like hell and dripped blood.
Finding a cool stream I placed my tail
within, oh the blessed relief I knew
I had been lucky, one life now done.
My next life also flashed by as
hunter became prey, I ran for
my life from a pack of hungry
wolves barely escaping their
razor sharp fangs and hot breath.
Fishing for salmon I ventured
in too deep and got swept away
tumbling through rapids, banging
into rocks lucky to be washed ashore.
Bedraggled I lie in the sun
I swallowed way more water
than I drink in two days.
Shivering as I dry off.
Maybe four is the charm
as now I am much wiser.
Oh no I followed my nose
to an enticing exciting smell.
It led me straight into a mire
churned up by rooting pigs
I was being sucked down
exhausted I finally lay still.
Well a miracle happened
the muddy slime released
its deathly grip and I was
able to slowly wriggle free.
What a state my fur was in
muddy slime all over me
only one thing to do and
that's take a hated bath.
As I rolled in the shallows
I felt a change in pressure
and ran for my life chased
by angry snapping jaws.
Piranhas I had disturbed
Nearly ripped to shreds
I slipped away to rest up.
Unfortunately as I drifted
off I started getting stung
I was under attack from
angry bees I was lying
right over their hive.
Fast as a streak I headed
yet again for the river
and dunked myself again
and again till they were gone.
Seven lives already used up
and I was still only three years.
A few years past uneventfully
I am getting the hang of things.
One dark stormy night
sheltering in a leafy tree.
It got hit by lightning
knocking me to the ground.
Fur still burning I looked
a real fright, a cartoon cat
with hair on end whilst all
I really wanted was a quiet life.
Well I have used up eight
of my nine. I now mainly
sleep my days away. The
urge of adventure quietly rests.
My day will come soon
now as age takes its toll.
I am stiff and nearly blind
so I lay down a final time.
Pursuing
(Verse 1)
I've been running
Running to you
But was I really running
To someone who didn't want to pursue
You said you liked me
You said you cared
But in my darkest hours
You were never there
You just said what I wanted to hear
That's not what I need
I need someone who loves me for me
Tell me what's a girl to do
When she is rushing to be pursued
(Chorus)
Take your time, just wait
You don't want to make a mistake(mistake)
Being with someone just because
That's not what you've dreamed of
Its OK to be you
But no matter what you do (you do)
Don't just rush to be pursued
(Verse 2)
What's the definition of a mate
They help you balance your plate
They add that charm
To your day
A bright smile you'll display
Picking out the small things
What a joy it brings
To know that you, have something so pure and true
Its your time , you've waited
Got swept off your feet its an understatement
The feeling you feel makes you
Know how it feels to be pursued
Chorus)
Take your time, just wait
You don't want to make a mistake(mistake)
Being with someone just because
That's not what you've dreamed of
Its OK to be you
But no matter what you do (you do)
Don't just rush to be pursued
(Hook)
Its OK, to have feelings
Let it be with someone
Who wants more than just dealings
Its OK , to have feelings
Let it be with someone
Who wants more than just dealings
Chorus)
Take your time, just wait
You don't want to make a mistake(mistake)
Being with someone just because
That's not what you've dreamed of
Its OK to be you
But no matter what you do (you do)
Don't just rush to be pursued
Repeat until chorus fades

Tonight, I met the winter breeze,
She flew as if a body deceased..
She told me stories of the past,
And talked about fories of the vast..
We were meeting after long,
So we sat there singing some old songs..
She still had many places to visit,
The dates she left me all in digits..
I saw her go,
My flaws followed so..
I was in a trance,
Could not see her prance..
I was dreaming,
When she was leaving..
And when she left,
I got swept..
By the waves,
In the caves..
I had died,
And my body had been pried..
She came again,
And took me in vain..
For my soul stayed,
Where my dreams had been slayed..
DON'T BURN MY DREAMS
Under crisp autumn’s azure sky
the rustling leaves wind would pass by
with requiem tunes of the fall,
donning burning colors they’d fly.
They’d fly, brush fondly you and me.
Emotions would voice ecstasy
in words of lyric I’d compose
life would sink in its melody.
Its melody got swept away
by silent smoke to my sky grey,
your fire blazed words of my lyric,
don’t stoke your sly fire, I couldn’t say.
I couldn’t say, let me weave in air
the tapestry of love with flair
in tinged words of hued fantasy,
don’t break my dreams, burn in your fire.

By the bank of a meandering stream
underneath the weeping willow tree,
Recall the endearing days of our dream
like the wily wind, whimsical and free.
Then the dark clouds rolled over our sky
In the pouring rains you got swept away,
The shrubs and the bushes knew not why
where and in whose arms you quietly lay.
Scouring the skies with the footloose moon,
Deep in the woods, across shimmering sea,
Oh, my forlorn heart vows to find you soon
lest falling prey to cruel time you forget me.
Waiting by the stream your name I often call
wailing underneath this weeping willow tree
all seasons, winter, spring, summer and fall,
From this dire fate do come and set me free.

ROSE FROM THE DUST
Sixteen sweet springs she had seen come and go,
blooming thousand flowers on her dove eyes,
touching her tender heart with the cadence
of the whispering breeze of juvenile romance.
She had found a friend in the close neighborhood,
and he turned into a lover, when she didn’t know.
On her 16th birthday they met in a secret wood,
she was in veiled rapture as he gave her a red rose.
She kissed it and tucked gently in her black hair,
as if it were a rare jewel on the crown she wore.
Returning home a sudden gust of wind blew on her,
the rose dropped down a storm drain, gone forever.
She had silently cried her broken heart out,
for with the rose she had lost her nascent love.
Dust of dream got swept into closet of memory,
for he had disappeared, gone with the wind.
Life had taken her far away on the whirlwind,
when years later to her old home she returned,
and stood by the storm drain on a windy morning,
the red rose called memory rose from the dust.

The One
Lilies were lifting
white faces up to the sun.
I gazed up at him
as he leaned down to kiss me. . .
He - a white knight - was the one.
White - A Love Story
White was the blanket on which we lay
under the clouds of that warm April day.
White were the lilies perfuming the air.
How happy was I - my white knight was there.
Summer arrived; on sand gleaming white
we lay in the sun and kissed until night.
White was the gold of the ring that I wore
and bright like the love of the one I adored.
White was the dress I carefully chose
for our special day, and white was the rose
he placed on our bed, its sheets - white as milk -
were smooth like his skin and woven in silk.
White was the snow our first Christmas day
before all the whiteness got swept away!
In the dark casket, his face seemed so pale
as I bent to kiss my true love farewell.
At My White Knight’s Grave
into stone cold ground
his black casket was lowered. . .
snow fell all around

I thought it was love, but I guess I was blind,
You just played pretend and toyed with my mind.
I gave you my heart, my soul, every year.
Returned was your silence, your distance, and your love never here.
I thought maybe one day you’d love me the same-how foolish to know
I was your puppet on a string.
The harder I tried, the more I gave,
The deeper my heart got swept under the wave.
I built us a future and dreamed you’d be there.
But you never showed up, I looked for you everywhere.
Your love never deepened, it stayed cold and thin,
While I wore my heart raw, bleeding under my skin.
You stayed the same, while I broke and burned,
And all that I offered was never returned.
I gave you it all, every tear, every touch-
But you never once loved me, not even half as much.
I know now what I finally must do.
To love me much more and stop trying to love you.
