Premium Member Weather Or Not

It is now ten minutes past noon,
So, I can wish you a good afternoon,
The clouds are gracefully displaying,
Whatever an artist imagines,
But my production manager is glaring,
Say your bit quick he mouths me,
Cheekily I replied, ‘let me be’,
I take a deep breath, and the sun
Peeps from underneath,
Playing hide and seek, having fun,
Oh, I see a cloud shape of a bunny,
That really looks funny,
Don’t forget to take your wellies,
For rain will certainly pour
At approximately three, maybe four.
Splash through every puddle,
Don’t forget to cuddle huddle,
Fun is in the air, a chilly Easterly
Actually no Westerly,
Breeze will later bring wild winds
Tell your mummy or daddy to pull
Down your window blinds,
Pack a warm jersey as well,
You can never tell ,
What will be the weather,
How ‘bout we get together,
Where are you going for tea,
Would you not rather join me.
Phones began ringing
I’m suddenly thinking,
Things look very busy on my TV
Slot, parents congratulating me,
Children stop homework
To listen and see,
My weather forecast,
Golly, a hurricane has just passed,
Aren’t we lucky,
High five and pinkie three,
I got transferred to kiddies TV
Where I’d much rather be!

The Leader and the Sun a Tale

A communist leader judging himself
  a semi-god, that's why so
vainglorious opened the window and spotted
  the sun...
- Hello sunshine ... good morning!
  The surprised sun replied:
- Good Morning.
The afternoon came, the chauvinist leader
aware of his condition, he opened the window and
  again saluted the sun:
- Good afternoon, sunshine ...!
The sun to end the prose soon said:
  - Good afternoon.
At night, wanting to demonstrate his superiority
before colleagues the arrogant leader opened
  the window and shouted ...
  - Good night sun ....!
  - Good night sun ... !!
  - Good night sun .... !!!
The sun did not answer ...
  The leader angrily shouted:
-Who do you think you're dealing with ... I'm
greatest leader of the army in Germany
Oriental ... how dare you stay silent!
Then there was a fleeting, distant voice,
  almost inaudible ...
- Ssh silence ... I'm not there now,
    I'm in the east ...!

A Nostalgic Student

No days, such euphoric, as these!
Flashbacks passing through me, while I pass through that street
Wondering,to be scolded again, how it feels
Either the same sentiment of rage or the memory that heals
To live in remembrance of those school days, better it feels
No days, such memorable, as these!

Waking up was hard, dressing up was pain
Milk was must, mom asked "bournvita or plain?"
To learn so many things in that little brain
and to recite it when teacher called my name
On the day of a test, How I prayed to God it should rain!
Those school days, I wish I could experience again!

The heavy books filled inside the heavy bag
When the zip got broken, how I'd to drag
The colorful chalks, the board which was black
And how with those chalks, we used to attack!
As a drawback, The teacher shouted "WHAT THE HACK? "
Those school days, I wish I could go back

Completion of projects, when comes near, the completion of june
Wishing Good morning at the place of good afternoon
Eating with hands, after forgetting the spoon
Pretending stomach pain to avoid PT in sports room
To all those who are in school,
I wish your school days don't go very soon

To live in remembrance of those school days, better it feels
No days, such memorable, as these!

Belonging to the earth and moon
The sun empowers blooms of June.
'Pon the horizon casts its rays
of pastel longings of great days.

Roosters crow up the sun with tunes
belonging to the earth and moon.
The sun delights with a great start
Greets summer with an open heart.

The birds sing a love song aloud
From a stage to a roaring crowd.
Belonging to the earth and moon
the sun delights this afternoon.

A good afternoon capacitates
energy to flow through love gates,
settles; reaching the sun's commune
belonging to the earth and moon

WHERE YOU CAN SEE A DRUNKEN WHORE.
SHE'LL ATTEMPT CROSSING THE WIRE,
TURN AROUND AND COME BACK.
YOUR GUARANTEED TO HEAR A GREAT SPLAT.
WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU, LETS SHINE THE LIGHTS.
TO INCREASE THE DANGER MAKE SURE THEY'RE BRIGHT.
LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE CIRCUS BAND.
STAND UP AND SHOUT AND GIVE THEM A HAND.
I COULD SEE A WHISKEY BOTTLE IN HER RIGHT HAND.
IT APPEARS TO ME SHE COULD BARELY STAND.
WHEN SHE TOOK HER FIRST STEP IT WAS ALSO HER LAST.
THE HIGH WIRE ACT WAS OVER THAT FAST.
THE CROWD JUMPED UP AND STARTED TO ROAR.
THE TIGHT ROPE WALKER WAS DEAD ON THE FLOOR.
THIS IS HOW THEY STARTED THE SHOW?
I THOUGHT TO MYSELF. I THINK I SHOULD GO.
I WAS HEADED BACK TO THE PORTAL SLASH DOOR,
WHEN I HEARD THE RING MASTER DOWN ON THE FLOOR.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN A MAN EATING LION.
SAW A MAN BEING DRAGGED WHILE SCREAMING AND CRYING.

Falling Short

Steam from a passing train funnel
wrapped under and over the footbridge
like regret around a jilted lover.
We were walking home from school
(people walked places, then).
Afternoon sun was glittering
on the maturing wayside grass,
tall and feathery.
Term was ending.
I was leaving primary behind.
The "big school" loomed.
Just then, Tiddler came up.
"Good afternoon, David,"
said my mother. I hadn't known
Tiddler's actual name, ere this.
Tiny, fine-boned, frail,
he was in some way underformed.
Some mysterious brush with something
grown-ups, hushed, named "diphtheria".
"What's that, Tiddler?" ventured I.
His end-of-year school photo.
He proffered it, reluctantly.
My raucous guffaw split the air.
I don't remember handing it back -
just my mother's voice,
softened by sadness.
I'd let her down.
"Do you suppose," she said,
once he was safely out of earshot,
"he wants to look the way he does?"
I was already burning with shame.
"He'll show that picture
to his mother, and she won't see
the defects that you find so funny.
She'll see a little prince."
I watched his skinny legs,
trotting on ahead,
felt acid tears etch my cheeks.

There was more to this being big
than simply being big.
I wanted to hold him in my own arms,
and tell him how handsome he was.
Or even just refer to him as David.
But he trotted on,
his image guarded tightly
under one withered arm.

Hello Chair, Hello Loveseat

Hello Chair, Hello Loveseat

Hello chair, hello loveseat
Good afternoon glass table that my father gave me, among
other illustrations of gentleness and concern he gave me.
Greetings book of Shakespeare.

Hello to all those things around me;
...things.
Hello to the beautiful view outside my
bedroom, giving me a sense of sleeping in a jungle,
a wonderful sensation of beauty.

Say nothing to people in my apartment,
say nothing, because no one is there.
Oh, but how my mind thinks of others.

Toodles loneliness, toodles pictures of isolation.
Thoughts of living breathing friends and family
trumps isolation...
My friends and family are in my heart; singing.

                                            II
Good afternoon glass table a kind soul gave me, among
illustrations and encounters of warm greetings he gave me.
We meet again, smiling.
Greetings book of Shakespeare, hello John Donne.

Continue speaking dog underneath my not so Elvis
of the 1970's jungle view, bringing sound to green
leaves and morning getting ready time.
We meet again, listening.
Greetings fellowship, Greetings "Young man, I
hear what you are saying."

No more down-time, no more solitary sad salutations mid-day
 to the couch, thinking.
People, places, things....We meet again heart.
...heart connecting with mind, sitting alone, truly
knowing friendship and giving.
