The Extra Mile

Who dare to go the extra mile with me, who dare to walk out of the struggle with me, who dare to tarry on the floor with me, who dare to set me free.
I stand on the mountain of time reminiscing the mysteries that have gone by, the earth in its fullness of the ages once stood flat on the ground but historian says that it is round.

I have no instrument to measure it, I have to use a dip stick to penetrate the ground to see what is there to be found, it looks ellipsoid from all side, but the mysteries are wrapped up inside. The dark ages have gone away and wisdom is here to say, if you go the extra miles with me I will show you something that you have never seen.

The tides are turning and the morning is glowing and the birds in the trees are singing a melodious song and the animals in the bushes are pressing on, they have been there since two thousand and nine wandering in the bushes without a dime, the people they have worked for have left them in the cold but mercy will soon find them a new home.

If you see a signal coming from the bush, check your source before you land and you will understand that those are the problems you did not solve and the people in the bushes are still waiting for you to see them through.

The mountain rests beyond the clouds and you have to get there before you grow old, there are some things that are hidden in the sea and you have to get the submarine to journey with me, I don’t have much money but if we partner together we will do much wonders, go the extra mine with me and I will get you out of the trap and open the land lock.

I have been waiting here for many years, with no one to take care
You are my only hope over here and the train is on time so please don’t miss the deadline, the heat is raging over here and water is dripping from my face and my body is soaked inside out.

Oh, what wonders lie in the sun, it is moving around the galaxy and it is ripening the fruits and sucking the energy out of me, you have got to help the youth before you make a move. I don’t have much time to spear so hurry before the furnace reaches over here. You have got to go the extra miles with me so that destiny can set us free.

The mountain is steep, the valley is deep and I have almost completed the fleet but need that extra touch to pull me over.

My Rap Poem

what is my purpose in this thing they call life

i have tried to commit suicide but it seem i didn't die

i'm on the edge of disaster and it seems i have nowere to go

i feel as if a bullet hole is the only way i have to show

but is that what my whole life is what it's made out to be

die by a bullet and be another victim to this society

noone ever listens to my side of the story

see all i ever wanted was the fame and glory

but i guess im just to poor and that's the way it's going to be

i'm never going to make a million records and be in rap history

i'm just white trash and never amount to nothin

that's what everyone told me and now look at me runnin

from something that i allways wanted to be

the only person that loves me doesn't even seem to trust me

i have no money and i have no job

will somebody at least give me a break and listen to my thoughts

it seems that this world is not ment for me

eather your rich or die trying that's the way it seems

my life iv'e never had a father to be there when i needed him most

it seems as if he never existed as if he was a ghost

my mother see that's another story

see she allways worked and never seemed to have the fame and glory

she would allways bring men home and hope they would be our new daddy

have alot of money and drive an expensive caddy

but no they used to allways beat her

throw her around and allways be cheaters

that's the men my mom would allways bring home

it seems as if it was a never ending road

my brother corey was the only smart one in the family

he got away before his life turned out to be a tragedy

my family is crazy and so am i

no wonder i've tried to kill myself and it seems i won't die

so im down on my knees wondering what i need to do in life

is my life destined to be the next rapper or just another bussiness guy

that's the last thing i want in life so what should i do

please answer my riddle and maybe even solve it to

this is the last thing that i have to say

so i'll make it really short and go on my way

i don't want to live this life and allways be poor

i am willing to go the extra mile and i'm ready to endure

i know this sounds crazy but that i know i'm for sure

please give that chance and maybe you'll be the cure

Listen up, my daughters, let me break it down
Life's a stage, but you're not here to clown
You've got to face the music, face it strong
Face your fears, show the world where you belong

Don't let them clip your wings, wings are meant to soar
Winging it sometimes, that's what life is for
But root yourself in values, roots run deep
Rooting out the nonsense, that's wisdom to keep

Stand your ground, ground yourself in truth
Grounding your decisions, from age to youth
Rise above the noise, rise like the sun
Rising to occasions, that's how battles are won

Weather the storm, weather it with grace
Weathering criticism with a poker face
Steel your nerves, steel them like a blade
Steeling yourself for the choices to be made

Bridge the gaps, bridge them with your mind
Bridging understanding, leaving doubt behind
Scale the heights, scale them bit by bit
Scaling back expectations that don't fit

Balance your life, balance work and play
Balancing act, that's the price to pay
Weigh your options, weigh them carefully
Weighing in on issues, speak out clearly

Brave the odds, brave them with a smile
Braving new frontiers, go the extra mile
Charge ahead, charge your inner battery
Charging through obstacles, set your spirit free

Light your path, light it with your dreams
Lighting up the darkness, nothing's as it seems
Fuel your passions, fuel them day and night
Fuelling your ambitions, keep your goals in sight

Don't be too rigid, rigid minds will break
Rigid rules are meant for you to shake
Be flexible, flexible like a reed
Flexing your strength, that's what you'll need

Channel your emotions, channel them right
Channeling energy into your fight
But don't let them flood, flood your rationality
Flooding your judgment leads to fatality

Remember, my daughters, life's a complex game
Gaming the system isn't the aim
Aim for integrity, aim for what's true
Aiming high, that's what you should do

So face the world, face it head-on
Facing challenges, that's how you'll grow strong
The ball's in your court, court success with zeal
Courting life's adventures, that's the real deal

Now go forth, my daughters, write your story
Story of courage, rationale, and glory
Storying your journey with each passing day
Journeying forward in your unique way

She Is Everything I Need To Know!

She is my life and love and everything I need to know.
She is my strength and health whenever I am sick and slow.
She sticks to my heart all day long: she is my sure shadow.
She comforts me all through the night: she is my pleasant pillow.

She is a lovely lady, so bright, bold and beautiful.
She is a priceless princess, so cute, cool and colorful.
She is the sweetest song in my mouth, I can’t stop to sing.
She is my dearest dream, a quiet queen for a kind king!

She is an immortal image, a perfect painting… an alluring art.
She is every blessed blood flowing through my humble heart.
She soothes my soul and spirit with her cheerful charms.
She takes me to a wonderful world whenever I’m in her arms.

She is a darling dame; her sensual smiles rock my ribs.
She tames my heart and head …with her tender tease.
She has got a face and figure that takes me to a sensual space;
She has got a pleasant picture that old age can never erase.

She is the smile I need to make me go the extra mile.
She is the unsinkable ship that can sail me safely on the Nile.
She is my hope and stay whenever it seems my life is wearing away
She is a home-maker; she has got a romantic role to perfectly play.

She is an immortal image, a perfect painting…an alluring art.
She is every blessed blood flowing through my humble heart.
She is a passionate poet, with terrific theme, thrust and tone.
She has got rhymes and rhapsodies that thrill kings on their throne!

She is a dazzling damsel: a sweet angel sent from above.
She is the reason I am singing this song of life and love.
She is a trailblazing tale, only a wise man can truly tell;
She is that beautiful butterfly for whom I finally fell!

She is my sun at noon and the shining star in my sky at night.
She is in every picture I see, whenever I look left and right.
She is a sweet story I can’t exhaust because words are not just enough.
She is cool, calm and careful but sometimes she appears to be tough.

She is an immortal image, a perfect painting … an alluring art.
She is every blessed blood flowing through my humble heart.
She is lovely, lively and laudable; faithful and full of fun.
She is every thing I need to know, I need not ask… ‘Is she the one?’

What Makes It Okay

I use my hand to write poems that will convince you that my soul has been bleeding from start to end. But this may be a poem for those who think I've been writing from the heart.
What makes it okay?
What makes it okay to bow for our souls when they cling to the pregnant clouds of tears and fears?
This is just me maybe running out of ways to numb this pain by reading old books with coffee stains and nothing makes it okay.
But the coffee stains are the reason I'm uncomfortably wake at three A.M trying to cover the holes I opened with the knife but the blood wasn't mine; it never was.
What makes it okay to see temptation in a blade, knife, or a pair of scissors? It's the fact that it's not my life I'll be taking. Maybe it's only now you see that the "be careful" note I left on your doorstep wasn't just one of my dramatic moves. You better be wearing two left shoes.
What makes it okay to know we're not happier?
What makes it okay to hide the misery with a smile?
It's me; I'm willing to go the extra mile just as long as you stay behind; I just want to make sure it's safe.
What made it okay for me to call you at 3AM in the morning telling myself I've had enough of this sadness. Followed by your voice telling me "everything's going to be fine and maybe it's that time of the month" and no "it's not me; it's you." what makes it okay? I do.
I've always had that "go for it" vibe hidden inside me I'd ask you to find it but I'd be uncomfortable.
What makes it okay to cling to a cloud?
That's probably the hardest **** I've ever had to do. After closing the toothpaste cap; I mean that **** is kind of hard to remember. Like replacing the toilet paper roll; i repeat that **** is hard; literally. That's why the toilet paper needs to be replaced.
What makes it okay for me to judge you without having to hear your pain and bleed for you? I'll take the blame any day; just make sure I'm going to be okay when I come back to you every night asking for day light.
I mean girl; the sun sets; why won't you.?
the sun rises; why won't you?
clouds move; why won't you?
What makes it okay to put bravery to test? You do.

Heart Surgery

She has been sobbing all night for enduring the vicious fight, she has been sobbing all night for paying a daunting sacrifice, she has been sobbing all night for enduring attacks and punches, hits and bruises, the universe embraces her, and the heavens adore her.

She has a stern look on her face, since she dropped out of the race ambition kept her alive and courage made her go wild.

She has been enjoying every moment of it even though she was slowly falling off the cliff, she wanted to go the extra mile, but she had to pay a very high price.

So, she crisscrosses all the states invoking new energy in the place. The dress made a difference but the secret society with its laced-up shoes planted a dangerous vision in the sun forcing everyone to get up and run and the heavy-duty trucks rolling down the street create a myriad of fuss disrupting my heartbeat.

The skeptic could not see it and the skies had to reveal it, two hand clasps in one and the imaginary line running from east to west, north to south crying out to the universe to change the sweaty shirt and the chaos began.

It wasn’t physical it was mental; some people heard it and spoke boldly about it and so I listened carefully, but I could not hear it.

The night continues to bear it weight on its own shoulder and the night owl with its nocturnal eyes peeping from a distance radiates a strange energy in the environment.

I wasn’t sure what to make of it so I ignored it and observe the stars cruising around the moon and the ambulance speeding down the track with a man covered up in the back.

The surgery was about to begin, and the priest was getting ready to sing the final hymn, they crowd around the hospital bed, and everyone walked in to pay their final respect.

She went down the bowling alley, but the ball was extremely heavy, she could feel the dead weight in her hand, and she could not lift the ball and so she stuck two fingers in it and knocks down the targets in the pit and the doctor begins the heart surgery.

I am going to write a funny poem
Why? Because I feel like it
Why do you go the extra mile?
Great waistline my friend
C'mon
I love watching "Impractical Jokers"
Why? They are so outrageous and daring
Something I wouldn't do
Not lol
How would you like it if everything you say
makes people laugh?
I don't think you would enjoy it
Because you don't know if they laugh with you
Or at you
I am a couch potato
Is anyone like me?
I don't want to do nothing
I just want to sit on my recliner and chill
Until I get my fill
I just can't get over how funny God is
He makes some of us like dark meat
and some of us like white meat
I am talking about chicken, mind you
Just think how wasteful it would be if all of us like dark meat
Or white meat
This way nothing goes wasted
Why do you think I am attracted to you?
God my friend
He puts something in you that causes something in me pulled lol
Yeah He has a sense of humor
I can sit here all day and talk about how funny God is
Why do you think some birds think of dancing for their mates?
Do you think it can just think of it?
Or do you think God is behind it?
Yeah you too
You would dance for your mate if you have a chance
And make a fool out of yourself
You don't care
Because it's called love
Ohhh
I could swear they put something in my Coke
Why do you think I have to have a Coke each day
Yeah it's no good
It's addicting
I think it's the sugar
Or the caffeine
Whatever it is, it is pulling me
to McDonald's
Got to stay away from that place
I am becoming a kid all over again
We had a celebration at work
to celebrate "Black History"
I am telling you
I admire the achievements they have done
and know they may have more to come
Just think how many obstacles they have overcome
Can you do it?
Talk about resilience
Endurance, strength, and so much more
Don't let the stereotype blinds you
See my friend
You look better that way
Anyway I will leave you for now
But hang on to my words, will ya
You'll need it
Haha

Vulnerability Isn'T a Curse

Born into this world, my opinion never mattered
Had no voice yet today my tears flow like a stream
Born into hardship and poverty, its no fault of mine
No need to ask my pains... for the fast receding of my flesh showcasing my bones tells my story
Most times I feel its punishment for what I know not... but I look around and see thousands just like me
Without food nor water
Without clothes nor a place to call home
Without light in sight... I wonder if God exists
Holy books talking of His love for us and I wonder if i have been forsaken
If we have been condemned to hell on earth for reasons unknown
If we are being punished for breathing

Who is to blame; society or poverty

In a heartless society, a few of heart still exist
Not all take delight in the sufferings of others
Where as others choose to condemn, a few choose to redeem
Giving back hope and life to people rejected by all, they go the extra mile

A father to the orphan who society abandoned
A husband to the widow whose world came to a halt, still grieving, she was chased away
The only shoulder that old woman needed before being pushed to the wicked grips of camps supposed for witches

Genuinely on the course of humanity, he invests his sweat
An investment seeking smiles as profit
A believe in the betterment of life, an umbrella of love hope and care is spread

Society can never be perfect but none deserves its Cruelty
It doesn't take much to touch lives but only a few do
Cheers to the few

Having gone days without food, I know what it means to have a saviour.
Indeed you are a man of the people
A king for all and heart for good

It warms our heart to know;
despite being an orphan
despite living in poverty
despite being widowed and the pains of accusations
Our lives still means something
Giving us hope and a reason to live, we say THANK YOU

Thank You for not making vulnerable a curse
Naa Tia Foundation Without doubt is the reason behind my smiles and shot at life

The Great Conjunction

I have searched through boundless plains, oceans, and grassland of flowers and wheat.
All this awesome splendor has been created and decreed for the masses, from His and Her mercy seat.
I have scanned these vast ever-growing, complex, and ever-increasing, expanding domains.
I am a bright morning star and share the light of love and pray for all your desires and gains.

We in the spiritual realm are encroaching upon a realm of a tremendous conscious shift.
Calm yourself and have no fear, knowing you are guarded and protected during this sentient rift.
The powers that be which now have control, feed on fear, which means false evidence which appears real.
They dull your ambitions, they lie, deceive and create diseases, for your dreams they endeavor to steal.

The battle is with unseen forces that hinder the truth, but their schemes will soon be realized.
This battle rages tooth and nail as their evil plans fall short and their strategy is compromised.
With strong faith and sagacity, a love for humanity, and hunger for heaven with an undeniable will.
We pose to you this question, will you deny the power within you, rest in ignorance and take the red pill?

May we go forth in confidence in assisting to brighten someone's day and make them smile?
May we help others to transform, elevate and raise the collective frequency to attain the magnificence of all that is endowed to experience.
May our endeavors instill a divine sense of worth in the select few who go the extra mile, the teachers, the policemen, firemen, nurses, ministers, or an orator.
In the new dimension, all thoughts are of good health, harmony, happiness, and love, safe in the arms of our mother, father, the ultimate creator.
