Gibbous, Glow

Hell, thy ancient fury red.
Blue the bloody bright.
Death and Doom, holy is dread.
Deprived: foe of sight.

Eyes unneeded, pop in skull!
Lips fall from the face!
Clean death, are you due a trull?
Heaven, where is grace?

Immortal insectile file.
Two by two in ranks.
Well, think on this one a while:
When to call the tanks?

Singularity, thy grin.
Full, O rubbish bin?
Hope, thy budget's looking thin!
Pin to help us win!

Anyway, thy question.
O voices of the past:
Stay at post? Suggestion:
Just hang them all, O mast.

Who listens to counsel sage?
Asked: levels of rage?
Rusty are the bars, my cage?
Victims of the age!

Golden, glorious, gibbous.
Night, thy fading glow.
Bright the bane, bore, blunderbuss?
Shows what fools all know!

Call them in most anytime!
Greatest war, break out.
Countenancing, O cold crime?
Death is but a shout!

The frozen sap of mirthless trees,
The fractured flow of icy streams.

The howling wind that claws at life,
The forest shrouded in endless white.

Skeletal ice hangs from warm lit homes,
....brittle fingers, glacial bones!

Gibbous moon with light unclean,
Casting shadows barely seen.

Wide tongues of sleet lick hands and feet,
Frost etched people on lacquered streets.

Witches Sabbat the darkest rite,
All doors are barred on Halloween night!

Children sleeping, tucked tight in bed,
While witches brooms fly overhead.

Cock’s crow sounds in the dark of night,
Putting the cabal to frenzied flight!

The children waken then start to yawn,
Their smiling faces greet the new dawn.

GIBBOUS MOON

                  An elusive scene had arisen.
                  Ghostly gibbous Moon to glisten.
Pulses of heart beats to listen
                                      dancing rhythmic in delight.
                    Me, walking mad and mesmerized,
                    horrified and hypnotized,
                    bewildered and polarized
                                      on frantic lunatic plight.
                    Cumulus cloud in platoon
                     floating passing maroon Moon.
trying to hide it later or soon.
At last Moon winked being polite.

Fly Up and Glide

A risk taker is an adventurer, a taster of the fresh dew;
never satisfied until he has found that something so new.

Celestial bodies are clearly seen on a starless and mild night,
when the grayish sky invites a painter to invent his own light.

So fly up and glide over your extraordinary planet, and finally discover
what poets and dreamers only imagine to exist in their passionate gesture.

The unmitigated impudence of this season has already brought its first, despised pang;
changing emerald leaves to dull auburn, reminding me of the briefness of life's span.

Can't find any excitement in the boring ways that spoil your day and make you sluggish?
Try flying up and glide over this planet's panorama that can grant the spectator's wish.

Earth-bound with that satiated feeling, departing from a glorious view and a gibbous moon;
glad to land on a snowless ground, too anxious to send up, on drifting winds, my red balloon.

NARROW ESCAPE

At eve, me and hubby on nice car drive
in remote tourist spot to be explored.
Dusk on misty mask ready to arrive.
Haply found Victorian house beside road.

Walked making way through wild weeds, thorny bush
. to watch half-closed broken door, odd shaped.
Both curious, carefully tried to push
A heavy wooden chunk fell, I escaped.

In dense dark crescent Moon peeped through window,
entered the hall turning ghostly gibbous
glowing on ceiling where resting black widow.
Spider jumped chasing us looked furious.

Giant black cat running after macro mouse.
Puzzled n bewildered, we rushed in hurry.
I was horrified and lost my rescuer spouse.
In the road no trace of car or hubby.

Haunted house scary daft and surreal.
I ran and ran till I reached our motel.
All in festive mood, cool calm cordial.
Found my dear husband enjoying cocktail.

MOON

In azure sky opaque opal-like Moon
showing pallid dull white face at noon.
Little stars shine in No Moon night.
Blue polka dots look so bright.
                                         Appears next afternoon
                                         descent crescent Moon.
                                               renders romance,
                                                 on your glance.
                                                     Now Moon
                                                          soon
                                                          will
                                                       feel thrill
                                                        to select
                                                   half to reflect.
                                               Half Moon, half disc
                                               Phases, majestic
                                           growing gradual in size
day by day, big, bigger to rise.
forming an odd shape known as gibbous
At last phase glowing full disc gorgeous.

Magical Imperfection

Wind roams around bare footed
Her loose grey hair weaving every minute

A waning gibbous moon raising, at 11 in the East
For the beings with Heart, it is indeed a feast.

Incomplete, strained yet mesmerizing
It's silver light enlights everything in perfect timings

In pindrop silence, under an old tree, I sit
Tiny shadows of leaves cover me like a porous blanket

Half open buds dance beside me, surely not serene
As if they too are under the MAGIC OF THE moon

MOON'S MAGIC___ heard that in such magical nights
Fearies, witches and jinns too decend to Earth from skylights

And have kidnapped princesses as well in the past
Ah' what if they land here and take me to "KOH E KAAF"

OmG! I don't even know any prince charming
who would fight for me, and rescue me while smiling

Oh God what should I do.. ??
I am in problem under the dew

Hang on!! ___I'm neither princess Zaibun Nissan nor Neelum
Then why would they try to steal my freedom

Relax! now I can look at the stained yet magical moon
It's perfect moon light and leaves' shadows playing tunes

Why on earth her silver light is having no stain, why so perfect
When the moon herself is half almost

Perhaps little Imperfection is a must
Or you will be like a sun

Perfect, mighty, complete, with golden rays
Yet no body stare at him for hours... Bizarre?

Beauty is Imperfection...
And its yields are always beyond perfection

Now I must go
Before a witch or gennie say to me hello!

P. S: KOH-E-LAAF (Koh e qaf) in eastern methodology is a mountainous region where jinns(gennies), witches and Fearies are supposed to live.
Princess Neelum and princess Mehrun Nissa were two princess from different ages. They were as beautiful as Halen of Troy, and both were kidnapped by a powerful jin who caged them in a dark castle somewhere in the mountains of Kohe Kaf. They were later rescued by a prince.)

Premium Member The Moment

The moment lingered
                 When I saw daybreak
                        In the eastern cloudy sky
                               Gold, soft yellow, red surprise

The moment lingered
       When up above charcoal clouds
Moved slightly revealing a waning gibbous moon
Looking down darkness engulfed the woods

Those moments lingered
          While breakfast was prepared
Thoughts of quiet beauty filled the air
Birds flew in to feed from seeds

Then in a flash
A yellow light illuminated darkness through the trees
A new day born in a moment
A whole period of time just for us to live

Lava Love

When our volcano erupts
Love-like lava
Lava-like love
Has begun to flood
Lipstick kisses, our hot river
Hug quakes
Thighs sigh, thrust, quiver
Our fountain will always shower, deliver

Zeus commanded Venus,
And placed us on a blue Zenith
Atop our own mound,
Not a living shadow around
Undiscovered map,
Completely oblivious
If we get lost, in my pocket,
I have a compass
The moon is in its' gibbous

Then the rainbow market of flowers
Darkened down beneath
Turned themselves green ugly
Wind began to curse and cuss
There will be no dividing or conquering us
Legs, like roots
Arms, wrapped and suction like the octopus

The closest star to this globe, rose
So far yet so close
Fought against the waves
Victorious again, against our atmosphere
Peeked along the equator
As it did for the Pagans and Romans
Ancient times and now..........
Two thousand sixteen years later
I place it in your palm my lava lover
We'll scale back up our volcano
When the sun climbs down for its' slumber
Bathe in our lava love forever

Medicine Magnet

Magnet, mind, medicinal!
Silent sane to soar!
Anger, wax ephemeral!
Lion, time we roar!

Victim of the vicious?
That's all of us down here.
Belladonna, blunderbuss!
Dare to disappear!

Code of the volcanic core?
Heat. That's all there is.
Burn, O nuclear reactor!
Love, like lava kiss!

Dark fire, be my intellect!
Sizzle as you boil!
Golem, gold. Gone? Genuflect!
River, run to roil!

Organ music, play for keeps!
Dissonant and fine!
Inspiration! How it leaps!
Mandrake, please make wine!

Deadly nightshade, glassy bead!
Heart within all, bleed!
Nothingness, what people need!
Flicker as you feed!

Vampire, dawn is fatal!
So do not go outside!
Amniotic, prenatal!
Terror, must we hide?

Cauldron, contain witch's brew!
Strongest! That will do!
Hope, by God, will ye accrue?
Safe succor, we sue!

Blessings, flow! My angels, dance!
Demons, fly in ring!
Fate and Fortune, now's our chance!
Sylvan, sacred! Sing!

Swing, branches of druid's tree!
Machine, melody!
Fill my heartblood, fancy-free!
Prayer and prophecy!

Positive? O prison shiv!
We all love to live!
Agony, thy gift to give?
Mankind: new missive!

Heaven and Hell, thee I tell!
Gibbous moon, thy spell!
Kin and kingdom, knick or knell?
Wicker, nicker, well...
